If you pre-order it, they'll send you the game when it comes out. That's legit.
If you're asking if that's the actual cover, it isn't. If you're asking if they know something about the release date we don't, they do not.

I've seen a few places pop up where you can pre-order DAI (and ones like EB Games NZ look pretty legit). But personally I'd wait until the big pre-order roll-out happens and we can see what each of the retailers will be offering for pre-order bonuses, potential special/collector's editions and so on.

I was in EB Games today staring longingly at a magazine with the Inquisitor on it (It was old news), and the guy behind the counter said that the game can be pre-ordered, but when I asked him what date it was he said they don't know, they only have placeholder dates and he wouldn't mind automatically upgrading me to the special edition when it gets announced if I liked.
This is probably the case for most of those places.

The Heroes of Cosplay stuff probably extends beyond the mandate of this thread. I think it's a think Jessica and Holly do, and I don't think BioWare nor EA are even really involved in it.

In the UK we can pre-order without a deposit, stores only take the money once the goods despatch, so no worries there.
Now all I have to do is wait for GAME to have a collector, PC version available.

I'll wait until Origin allows pre-ordering. Still it's a bit weird, that you can pre-order the sims 4 which has a fall 2014 release while DAI is still not available for pre-ordering on Origin while it also has a fall 2014 release.

We'll go there eventually, Bioware have created too much lore for it to not have a game occur there at some point. Same goes for Tevinter.
The way I see it, the later the game with these awesome locations is released, the better graphics it will have, resulting in even more visually stunning areas (coupled together with better tech giving us more varied and advanced dialogue options, story etc).

Pretty much this. I work at a JB HI-FI store and it's the same story. We get some 'guesstimate' dates in our system sometimes but we never really get dates before it's public knowledge. We don't even have any kind of promotional material yet to display in store, I'm hoping for a release date soon so I can go nuts with displays.
