The male Inquisitor voice that they used at PAX and in the World of DA trailer sounded slightly Welsh to me, but to non-British English speakers it might sound plausibly wide enough to cover Ferelden/Free Marches/'Welsh' Dalish.

 

I definitely preferred the tone he was using in the PAX demo, though - the trailer voice had a strangeness about it, maybe it was a bit deeper than I was expecting.

Yeah, I really like that voice from the PAX video. The voice they've used in the new trailer was too deep. I doubt it'd suit my character, lol.

The article in OXM also mentioned those things. And when the Twitter user asked about what info from OXM is false Laidlaw only responded with the Nevarra and Free Marches thing.

But I don't believe any of the things I mentioned are true, so yeah.

As it stands I don't have much interest in a dwarven or qunari playthrough, so I'll probably veer British every time unless I just really like the American VA a great deal more. In which case screw the lore, my Inquisitors will sound American.

It'll be interesting to see if a clear favorite emerges on the BSN.
