I assume a British accent would fit a Fereldan Human or possibly a Dalish Elf, whilst the American accent would fit a Dwarf or Qunari. I'm quite happy to have a choice between two VOs per gender.

The screenshot of Dales: Exalted Plains reminds me of the latest trailer. Beautiful place.

Well it looks a bit sinister...guess that's the place where elves got "exalted" by Orlais/Chantry.

Dales' Exalted Plains?
Could this be "The Emerald Graves"?
I think the Emerald Graves is this:

I mean, I don't know if I'd trust my money to a website that doesn't get the title correct.
GAME is the UK's leading games retailer. I've brought countless games from their stores, but I haven't ordered online. As for the actual company, they are well-established.

It would have looked better with a Fade tear looming overhead...
... and 300% more tentacles coming out of that pond.

OXM said that Morrigan is a companion but GI said no previously. Who to believe? Another mag said Warden/Hawk in DAI?
Morrigan is not a party member. She has a significant role to play in the game, but not as a companion.

Wow!It seems the scenery in the game and particularly the dales, will be a feast for the eyes!

I wouldn't mind having another non-rhotic accent like Hawke - being able to say 'arsk', 'larf', 'barth', 'arfter', etc.
I assume a British accent would fit a Fereldan Human or possibly a Dalish Elf, whilst the American accent would fit a Dwarf or Qunari. I'm quite happy to have a choice between two VOs per gender.
One of the magazines explained that each race is set to one voice option by default, but you can override that on character creation.
(And I think the combinations they used matched up with what you said)

Plus they've mentioned it might be possible to do things with adjusting pitch, so a qunari can have a deeper voice than an elf.
I had forgotten about this. Thanks for reminding me, EP. ![]()

If you go back and listen to the few lines in the PAX demo (which was the same voice actor), it wasn't quite as deep and older-sounding as in the trailer.
Plus they've mentioned it might be possible to do things with adjusting pitch, so a qunari can have a deeper voice than an elf.
If they do have a slider to change the pitch of the voice I just know I'll be tinkering with it for hours trying to get it perfect.

That's good to hearOne of the magazines explained that each race is set to one voice option by default, but you can override that on character creation.

I would imagine that if the Devs are spending resources on four VAs they would want to get as much use out of them as possible, so allowing each one to be used across all races makes a lot of sense - unless race/sex-specific lines are only recorded by specific VAs, in which case they would need to be fixed to the appropriate race/sex.

I am disappointed. Not because these things were in the magazines, because it's out of BioWare's control what they write in the magazines.
I am disappointed because confirmation like that was signed with a BioWare's employee's name. Cameron Lee said this: "There’s a proper world map again, which extends from Ferelden to the heart of Orlais, encompassing the plutocrats of Avina, the warmongers of Nevarra, and the demented, decadent magelings of the Tevinter Imperium."
And now we end up with just Ferelden and Orlais. And soon it'll be just Dales and Frostbacks.
Context is important.
the thats structured makes it clear that the world map is "from" fereldon to orlasis.
it will encompass people from Antiva, nevarra and tevinter. that is to say these are the people you are dealing with.
nowhere in that statement does it say any location other the fereldon and orlasis.

Even in DAO there was at least one English-accented elf (Senior Enchanter Leorah).

But the m!hawke voice was so sexy!, but i can't see it that kind of voice for an elf, then again Fenris voice is kinda..macho ain't it?
. I for one like the voice in the trailer
...
When I first heard Fenris' voice, I was like no way. That voice didn't seem to match the body. But now I absolutely can't see anyone else voicing him
I do like the voice, don't get me wrong! I'm just planning to do my canon playthrough as an elf. Who knows, I could end up loving it! Preconceptions are dangerous ![]()

I read few pages back, as i missed a lot of info and gradually become more and more dissapointed. I hope i ran into some April Fools but i doubt it.....
The one that is not big deal - character creation will not be available to see soon....ok i dont mind....No Nevarra ? No Free Marches ? Cant say i am surprised but Bioware proudly revealed world map during one of the many panels......the map was the same in pax demo, so you would think all you see on the map, you can visit ( Dragon Age Origins style), but no obviously Nevarra and Free Marches are to fool people and to jump on the skyrim wagon.
Cant say i am surprised i already stated in some topic that i think Orlais 80%, Ferelden and Dales 15% and 5% free marches city or sth. I was so close. Just needed to add those 5 to Dales and Ferelden and i would have nailed it.
Dont get me wrong, Inquisition probably will feature the largest map of the series, and i am okay with only Orlais, but next time dont show big ass maps in panels and demos, which are twice bigger than actual map. Not to mention with places that are not visitable. Overpromise and underdeliver story all over again.
Since i guessed 7/9 companions with two to be revealed and guessed the part of Thedas we will be visiting, i am pretty confident to take a shot at how many cities will be there. But i wont give a suggestion on that, because the post would seem too harsh, even though i speak the truth.
