Corrupted = Exposed to red lyrium? (Cullen was exposed to it after all.)

Not really sure how the red lyrium is going to work. Is it what remained of the idol or was more of it found? Anyone know?

hi mike will I be lost playing the new dragon age if I haven't played the first two? Should I go back and playall?

No, you should be fine. It's a new character and new "situation" so you can start fresh. But hey, there's a few months...

I keep thinking about that codex about the Box of Screaming and the nearby town of "Solas", and also that his name means something like "Pride" in Elvish.  Also the recent article that said something about him being strangely awkward...  Might be nothing, but it's certainly something that's going to be in the back of my mind.  Wouldn't really change how I feel about the character, just adds an extra sense of "uh oh spaghettios". 

 

Also remember that Wynne was an abomination and she was nothing like Anders.

I neither like or dislike Cullen. My Surana shamelessly flirted with him in Origins for ****'s and giggles while my Hawke pretended that he didn't exist. All of my Hawkes now that I think about it. There isn't much we know of him. All we know is that:

 

1. He's a Templar.

2. Was stationed in Ferelden then transferred to Kirkwall.

3. Had a crush on either Amell/Surana (possible).

4. Has PTSD from Origins and his mental state probably deteriorated farther since DAII.

 

Don't get me wrong. He's ripe for information but until that is shown, I can't say much on the character.
