Also, I just want to add in my thoughts on who I would like to see as a companion since we are mentioning that a bit. This also ties in with an earlier post on Twitter by Greg Ellis that was later taken off. I really want Cullen to be a companion even if he isn't a LI because after all the crap he has been through and our PCs viewing it peripherally, I want to be in the midst of his life changes and experience his own emotional and mental responses to what happens. Does anyone else agree? And do you think Greg Ellis will still be involved despite the Twitter issue he kind of created with his post?

He was already recording lines when he accidentally (?) posted that picture, so I'd say it's very likely that he'll be a companion in DA3.

Looking at the World of Thedas cover, it does seem like Morrigan might make a return but I doubt we'll see the OGB regardless. It just couldn't be a big deal since it's optional, and how the heck do you throw the soul of an old god in there without it being a big deal?

AND possibles and perhaps. Pretty much a sure thing, if you ask me. 

I'm down with dual wielding warriors. Regarding kidnapping Mr. Gaider, I'd have to take it up with my lawyer...

Me too. Sometimes when I feel like i'm the only Morrigan fan amongst BSN. Maybe it's because alot of people saw her as a heartless shrew to put it nicely. Any how, I really hope she makes and appearance in DA3 and if not an appearance then I hope shes mentioned.

I'm excited for more Morrigan too. I actually didn't care for her in Origins as a person in the world, but I loved her as a character-very compelling. And I"m thinking about maybe trying to revisit Origins to get to know her better because I do think she's interesting.

They said they'd address the OGB eventually for players who made that choice. They didn't say whether it would be in DA 3 or not. 

He'll still be pretty young in this game (just a child) so I expect not. But i'm sure we'll see Morrigan.

From I recall, I don't they said DA3.  IIRC they've said they aren't just going to drop that line and aren't going to retcon it, but I don't think they've specified when.

Though I'd have thought it would make more sense to do it in DA3 than to wait until everyone has more or less forgotten about it.

Cool, sounds like I misremembered.

I agree that DA3 seems the obvious route to go. I'd be surprised if that plot point wasn't addressed, frankly, given how often it seems to come up when people ask devs questions or provide feedback.

I never read that book until after playing the game.

Then it looks like you done goofed. Cole was listed as a companion in the leak and if the Mage rebellion is going to play a role Rhys and Evangeline are practically guaranteed to appear.

Yes I know about cole and have heard rumours about the others.  As I've said it will substantially change how I feel about the game.  I personally don't think book chracters belong at all in the games other than as a one off small cameo.  As for goofing?  I don't look at it that way because I would feel even worse playing the game and getting sucked into thnking that any of those characers are anything less than the way they are portrayed in the book.

I think that's what we call the tool that makes .iso builds for more "proper" testing (less of an issue at this point of the dev cycle).  Or maybe that's "Frosty."  Hmmmm.

Old news, in fact.  Before DA2 even came out, the devs were saying that Morrigan is of critical importance to the dragon age world and that we haven't seen the last of her.
