Burning the candle at both ends, but things are looking bright. Worth. #soworth #DA3

Mark Wilson appears to be a technical designer, so I rather doubt he's crunching to work on a trailer. Bioware/EA has their own separate mini-team for those in-game footage trailers, anyway.

Besides, they've already said DA3 won't be getting any reveals until spring. I wouldn't expect a trailer for another month or two, at the earliest.

PAX East In Boston 22-24 march. Do you know Bioware will be there?

Mike Laidlaw will be, yes. Not sure about other devs, or what he'll be doing there, but I'd expect more are going. It's possible that they'll reveal DA3 then, but who knows.

Jos was one of the level designers for ME multiplayer.  I wonder if he is working on DA mp levels or single player levels?

I also worked on the ME3 SP. ^_^

Have you ever played Origins and DA2, Jos? Did you like them, or was it not really your thing?

Your messages on the Twitter have been giving me a very "I'm here because I have to be" vibe, like maybe you weren't entirely happy with the assignment. It makes me sad.

Did Dusty get assigned to the DA team too?

Yep, must've spent like 100+ hours on Origins, I love that game (and Awakening). Thought DA2 had an interesting approach to storytelling and I adored Merrill and Aveline.

Which message on twitter is giving you that vibe? I moved to DA3 by choice, it was actually my first choice. It just takes time to grow into a team you're unfamiliar with and a project/universe that you've not really explored beyond playing the games. I'm very excited and interested in DA, but with learning new technology, in a new team, with a lot of lore/info about the game I need to read up on and being in pain from a fractured rib maybe I don't come across as such. :)
Don't be sad, I'm having fun. ;)

Dusty is on another team. I couldn't say what he's working on though.

"For a series that supposedly owes such a creative debt to A Song Of Ice And Fire, the Dragon Age series..."

What? That's not even remotely true.

"...when Loghain and his beard walked on to be the villain..."

OK, the writer didn't even play the games or bother to do the simplest of research.

This article is awful.

We get it, it's the co-workers right? You ask for a stapler and they respond by sending you cryptic clues on twitter. You wonder where the loo is and they refer to their "show, don't tell" policy (and allude to a date in march when they might show you)...

^_^

That article is a joke right? No way that someone who has more money and influence in the world than a college student could need to do less research than I do on a simple 500 word essay.

There are probably more absurdities in the article. I stopped reading after those 2 that I pointed out.

Yeah I still haven't found that stapler, despite all the twitter clues.

It seems it was just DA snobbery that was coloring my interpretation of some of your statements. You're a late addition to the team and have no past experience with it, so you got the eyes of suspicion, apparently.

But I'm more excited now that I know you're excited. It's all good when you have the passion. :-)

That's too bad. It looks like this final DLC is the last we'll get to see of him, at least for a long while. :(

Thank you! I will. (I hope)

At least his work on the next DLC is substantial and fantastic (to me, anyway).

I'm not surprised. I think it was a couple months before Omega even shipped that he first told us he was working on secret things for ME3.

Definitely looking forward to seeing what you guys cooked up in the twilight hours, especially since I haven't been in the game for so long (I had to skip Omega because the squad got sidelined for it). Shouldn't be long now!

Anyway, I hope Frostbite brings you different challenges (no fun if you end up having to bang your head against the same things you needed to in Unreal) and new opportunities. DA3 truly is my most-anticipated title for this year, and I have no doubt you're all doing some really great work for it.

Considering what many (me included) think about DA2, I think the addition of someone with an outside POV would be seen as a positive.

The article was interesting, but could have been researched more, ie. its already been confirmed human only protagonist. So maybe don't have a section about wanting playable races. BUT there were some good points, and right in line with what I think most people (and these forums) want/have already stated they want, out of the game.

I'm really surprised that I haven't seen more Morrigan fans in here.

Me too. Sometimes when I feel like i'm the only Morrigan fan amongst BSN. Maybe it's because alot of people saw her as a heartless shrew to put it nicely. Any how, I really hope she makes and appearance in DA3 and if not an appearance then I hope shes mentioned.

I'm excited for more Morrigan too. I actually didn't care for her in Origins as a person in the world, but I loved her as a character-very compelling. And I"m thinking about maybe trying to revisit Origins to get to know her better because I do think she's interesting.

She is interesting and awesome. But, my opinion on the matter is biased because Morrigan is one of my favorite characters.

Man! I was hoping it'd be sooner. Hopefully well see some more vague pictures from Darrah this time so maybe it will be worth waiting.
