Yeah, but what if the devs by saying "you can have all-warriors team" meant all-warriors team specifically? What if they wasn't trying to say that we would have 3/3/3 party? Ashe could get them wrong so her answer hasn't cleared that up if you ask me.

I kind of doubt she got it from just that line, if she thinks there are definitely 3 mages. I think what they probably said was some version of, "There will be a balances 3/3/3 class split in Inquisition. For example, if you want warriors, warriors, warriors, etc..". I imagine they said it was a 3/3/3 split AND THEN they gave the warrior example.

I doubt she'd say it twice in two blog posts if the 3/3/3 thing was a misinterpretation, or if there were any doubt about it.
She also says "one example" is the warrior thing, which would make zero sense if that's literally all they said about it.

If I'm wrong, like I said in my disclaimer, perhaps I misheard. But that moment was so distinct and I only use quotation marks in my notes when quoting people.

But they did specify all classes would be even and not just warriors in a full party? This seems to be confusing some people. We don't have a video of the whole thing yet. The only video that's been posted cuts out when they're explaining the class distribution and also when they talk about Cullen, so people are also confused if he's only announces as a LI, or LI and companion.

If your going to be that nitpicky then your going to have to wait till video of the Panels come out. 9 compaions with an even class spread isn't new news either.

It's not really that I'm picky, I would have accepted the 3/3/3 split as explained. It's just that multiple people have argued it wasn't clear enough, so it would be nice to get an undeniable wording. Kind of like how the new explanation for Iron Bull finally stopped the "maybe he's a rogue" camp.
Ok what is confusing about the sentence "9 characters evenly split?" If you split 9 characters evenly over 3 classes then you get 3 in each.
To expand on that if you make your MC a Warrior you can make a balanced team out of all Warriors with "Tank and Spank" The MC plus the 3 companions. If you wanted to make a team out of all Mages or Rogues I guess that nothing is stopping you, but it would not be a balanced "Tank and Spank" team.
I think it is less confusion about the wording and meaning, rather it is more about the twisting the information to fit what ever the desired outcome is that the person is hoping for. That is why I like taking each piece of information on it's own merit and enjoy the glimpse into what the game is looking like instead of spending too much time on what I expect it to be.

Yep, this is why I keep a little candle to my theory that the 3rd rogue is going to be a possessed nug (desire demon at that).
