Just to provide some different perspective from the PAX East comments, it's something that I got when I was lucky enough to go to PAX Prime. The outpouring of support is soooooooooooooooooo flattering and I think it can be easy for me to take it for granted when I just see it as text on the screen. People coming up with big smiles and almost tangible enthusiasm was rather infectious, in a good way!

I wasn't mandated to stay at the BioWare base the WHOLE time... but with the panels and discussions I had with fans, I actually didn't find too much motivation to go elsewhere barring a few edge cases. Which was pretty awesome.

Seeing a full line of people with amazing cosplay posing for pictures was just :o

Then came the "postive feedback loops"

"You inspire us!"

"No you inspire us!"
"No no nono, you inspire us!"

"Oh man hearing that inspires us more!"

"WELL I AM EVEN MORE INSPIRED NOW"

So thanks! :)

What you REALLY need to do to get some inspiration is come to the freaking Midwest. Chicago is nice. For real.

I'm not surprised! Us fans can certainly wax poetic when it comes to how much we appreciate you guys and the games even through typing! It's just more palpable when you can see us in all our ridiculous fan glory in person.  :)

What I want to know is where is Allan and who is this imposter using his account :P
In all seriousness though, it's good to know the devs are aware we appreciate them a lot, it must be awful hard to tell from reading this forum at times.

October makes sense to me. I know it doesn't mean it's set in stone but there's one site with an October preorder date. They've also said all the follower Fridays won't be out before the game is which would have to be October. And people thought I was nuts when I posted a thread about this ;)

I'm going more with November cos that's when DA:O came out, and it fits more nicely with "holiday sales" which video game companies love to come out for. That would also let them reveal 8 of 9 companions before release.

Since BF5 is not going to be released this year it makes sense that DAI will replace its time slot in October.

BF5 not out this year? Outrageous! I'm guessing something battlelicious is coming though. ^^

Great idea. When I get marry, I'm gonna put "Dragon Age" down on the invitation as preferred gift :D

Jason Barlow returned from PAX to share with the combat team: "Our fans really love us."

Thought it seemed appropriate to share this here :)

We certainly DO love you all! <3 Now, if you could please offer Darth Allan and David Gaider plushies in the BioWare store for us really obsessed fans, that would be great. Then, I could cuddle my plushies while reading this thread....or stick pins in them when appropriate. :kissing:

I wouldn't read too much into it. Even if something is 5, 7 or 8 months away I usually say "6 months" in conversation. It's just a handy phrase to use for things about half a year away.

If so I will have to carefully plan months spending. It'll be my sons first birthday that month and DAI and Drakengard 3 are the only things I've planned on buying for myself this year. Part of me hopes it's an early November release (for the previously mentioned reason).

Goddamn NPCs. I remember this one guy in particular who would stop just as I was talking to Jansen in Lowtown about returning to work at the Bone Pit. Throughout that entire conversation, he just stared. His vacant glare burned into my very soul.
