Do we know of any other games being released around November at this point?
I mean, besides the inevitable Call of Duty?

Even if we don't though, there'll be a million of 'em. It's the hottest month in the industry, with October in second place.

Isn't the new Halo game planned for around then?

I hope they release it near the end of September. Then I can surprise myself on my birthday with a DA:I.

Mark Darrah @BioMarkDarrah 3m
.@User No spoiler. We've revealed Varric and Cassandra as followers. You have to pick each of them up somewhere.
That's interesting...
Context is important. Here a user asked how much time happened between DA2 and DAI and Mark said: "enough time for Cassandra and Varric to get to where they are going" and then the user asked "it this a spoiler?" and he answered with the above.

My birthday's the end of December... but since I've just qualified as a doctor, I don't expect to get much leave till about 2020.
Frankly, the sooner the better for release. I've already warned my husband that unless he watches/gets a copy he's going to be a Bioware Widower for a month or four.

That is really interesting. Do they not immediately travel together then? I'd always assumed that would be the case.

I think you are misunderstanding his answer. The lapse of time between DA2 and DAI is how long it take Cassandra and Varric to travel, together, between Kirkwall and "somewhere". They are then picked up at that somewhere...at the start of the game going how them arriving there mark the start of DAI...

But Laidlaw said in the tweet that you have to pick "each of them" up somewhere. To me that implies they're not together when you meet them.

hi Mike. Will we have the option to let dead body stay on the field instead of disappearing?
That typically cannot be an option. Bodies need to decay so the game does not crash by going over memory.

User@user: @Mike_Laidlaw Please be a sweetheart and clarify this: Is it (at least one) or (one) char. (from) or (in) Asunder in DAI? Thanks!

At least one, it's him saying that there will be one without actually clarifying it.

It just says at least one, which means we for sure see one character, but others could also appear. No promise of more than one, though.
Which considering...
Easy money is on Lambert. =p

This. I didn't know who Leliana even was for a really long time. It's part of why I don't mind spoiling who the companions are for myself.I just hope we can't "miss" them like you could Leliana/Sten/Fenris.

In response to your spoiler..
Nice to see we will meet some chars from the book(s), I am curious to see how they will be introduced (considering they have to make sure it works with people who didn't read the books).

I personally found it intriguing that you could miss some companions in the games. Added a sense of realism to the world with not having someone indirectly shouting "Hey I am an awesome companion! Pick me!". Plus it added some replayability if you missed someone.

Considering I'm pretty sure that they are fairly crucial to the plot, I can't imagine that we will be able to miss Cassandra and Varric. lol

I'm with you. I completely missed Leliana and didn't let Sten out of the cage. Looking back, it was nice to not have the super obvious notion that they were companions. I enjoyed the subtlety.

.@user@BioMarkDarrah @davidgaider We’ve already said publicly that someone from Asunder will appear in DAI, just not whom.

@user@Mike_Laidlaw @user @user @BioMarkDarrah We've said all we're going to on that front at this point. Sorry!

Anything that's spoiler related is a no go , so by saying there's at least one but not clarifying anymore makes me think we'll see more despite what a few people said they haven't actually said only one will be in DAI.
