I doubt it. They're likely far too important to the plot -- my guess is that they're mandatory companions.

Possibly, they like to tease us and this isn't the first time that they've said at least one and maybe more will be in DAI.

Anything that's spoiler related is a no go , so by saying there's at least one but not clarifying anymore makes me think we'll see more despite what a few people said they haven't actually said only one will be in DAI.

He night just also have been covering his bases. That is, there might be a "major" character that shows up, but he wouldn't want to say "only one" and then have some really minor characters show up as minor NPCs and then get called a liar.

"at least" implies one or more. If Mike is being intentionally ambiguous then he shouldn't be irritated that people assume the possibility of more than one.

This is petty and the "sheesh" is unnecessary tbh.

"Cole" could be wearing a new Lambert suit. The Mage/Templar conflict wouldn't progress very fair without the Templar's fearless leader. Also... the book doesn't end with Cole killing Lambert. It ends with "look into my eyes". For all we know, Lambert could sleep with a dagger under his pillow and murder knifed Cole.

I don't know if I should be happy to hear stuff for DA:I is getting cut, because that implies that the game gets closer and closer to Alpha (or Beta, or whatever the next stage of the project is) ... or sad because cutting stuff is ... well, sad.
