Will there or will there not be a strong effort to include Mage Pants?

But as Anders mentioned in Awakening, there are some advantages to robes.
I support a wide variety of mage outfits, with both pants and skirts. And if we're going to be apostates, it would be nice to have non-magey looking outfits that are also functional.

I am writing to you because I am concerned about my son's self-esteem. It was but six months ago that he graduated from the Circle Tower in Ferelden and set out into the world selling Tower goods to anyone who will buy them.
Unfortunately, he has recently arrived in Amaranthine, commonly referred to as the 'hooligan capital' of our fine nation, and every day the obnoxious boys on the way to his little stall outside the chantry call him names, and mock his mage robes. I have tried contacting the local head of the guard, but the individuals in question are apparently the sons of the local Revered Mother, and so cannot be disturbed.
Thus I ask you, please make Mage pants, because mages everywhere are insulted for wearing robes. They are also very difficult to wash.
-Thank you exceedingly,
Ser Cimeas Thayne.

Edit: Not that I'm opposed to mage robes, but the choice would be nice.

You know, I read this and initially thought you were asking for a mage character named Pants. I think I need more coffee. Also, I am now going to see if I can work that name in somewhere.
He could be a loveable clothes horse! Or a roguish fop!
<3 Mage Pants.

Personally I think shorts would be more appropriate for mages.

Pants would be an awesome name for either a mage or, better yet, a mage pet.

More like hastily changing the name of a major NPC Companion!

I couldn't resist. More pants!
But on a more serious note, sure, let the mages have more pants. Real men(and women) wear armor anyways.
