You know, I read this and initially thought you were asking for a mage character named Pants. I think I need more coffee. Also, I am now going to see if I can work that name in somewhere.

Please do! I smell magey sidequest with crazy hermit - resulting in special mage pants armour! :D

Edit: @ Tali-vas-normandy: Yes, sidequest involving their fight over which is better - pants or boots. and neither will wear anything else! with strategically placed bushes!

@ MP911: yeah, why  do all mage hats have... pom-poms... <_<

Question is in the title.  It's a simple and fundamental question.  A beautiful question that gets down to seat of what we love about Dragon Age.  I believe the community supports great butts, and I believe that mages have great butts.

I believe in mage pants.

Do you?

Hey  I wish there was a like button on these lol.  I support this request.  Not only for the pants but yep the butt thing

And I also have another request to add, let our male's have the bodies like m!Hawke, *drools*, oops sorry lol... but seriously I play both female and male protags and having my male's look like m!Hawke instead of string beans would be just about well heaven for me lol, (one of the reason's I played more m!Hawke then I did f!Hawke p/t's) lol... Along with mages with pants to show off their butts

I'm hoping we see more mage armour that follows the same design as the champion's armour or what Merrill wears. I really love that armoured battle mage look.

I, too, shall raise my voice in the collective outcry, "We want more mage pants!!!" May our words reverberate through the forums, across the interwebs, and to the developers' ears. "Mage pants!!!"

Whoever wrote the marketing line for the Mage origin certainly had great insight, (s)he knew this day would come.

Definitely. I'm tired of men running around in dresses, and women wearing things normal people wouldn't get caught dead in, which brings me to the next point: Nothing screams "I'm a MAGE - come get ME!" like one of those stupid robes.

yes, please give my mage pants.

They kinda did it with DA2 with the dlc mage gear and the champion robes, but none of the found (free/already comes in the game) mage gear were pants-esque. so yeah

Pants. Now.

That was a huge WTF moment for me in DA2, when I could walk in front of templars in circle robes and no one cared. I usually upped my strength and wore armor though. Ah, the sacrifices of fashion.

Mage Pants should wear a robe of course. For Great Irony.

But no Mage Shorts. That would be Upsetting.

The best mage clothes were Bethany's starter outfit and mage Hawke's starter outfit! They actually looked like regular clothes. Robes of the Notorious Pirate looked fine on a woman but made DudeHawke look like he was on steroids. Same with the mage Champion outfit. That huge arm, THAT ARM! Urghghgh.

So, PANTS FOR MAGES, but also make sure they don't look ridiculous....

OMG YES!!! i loved mage pants!

here's to ROTC, ROTNP, and the old ROTChaistend for good measure! to everyone who went arcane warrior in origins just so we wouldn't have to wear a mumu! here's to Morrigan, Merril, Vellana, and anyone who wore something that not only didn't scream "hey! mage! over here!" but also wasn't just gawd-awful in terms of fashion sense.

and if there's a single scrap of scarlet-dyed anything laying around, i want the option to light it on fire and then kill the merchant selling it. mage does NOT have to equal drag queen.

(unless you want to look FABULOUS like that. then by all means, enjoy.)

The problem with being British- i thought this was a thread discussing whether or not mages should go without underwear beneath their robes.  Image IPB

Why mages would go without underwear i really dont know. There's a joke to be made there about "restricting the flow of mana" but i sure ain't touching it. Image IPB

By the Nine, that Champion outfit was hideous - what with the over-sized bib and mutant arm.

I really like pants, half skirts (like Flemmeth and champion robes) and fur and clawed gauntlets (Champion's gauntlets) on mage robes. I really REALLY like these kind of armors!
