Will there or will there not be a strong effort to include Mage Pants?

You know, I read this and initially thought you were asking for a mage character named Pants. I think I need more coffee. Also, I am now going to see if I can work that name in somewhere.

Can we please have that as well, I would love to say I just talked to pants :P

Please, make sure British VAs don't say "pants". We say trousers and it just seems wrong to hear that word when they really mean trousers.

I want black long hooded robe with silver runes on the sleeves and a staff with silver runes and a skull on top of it as my mages outfit. Necromancy ftw!

Play Awakening. Bring Oghren and Anders with you. Learn the true reason of why Mages actually wear Robes. :P

I think leggings under robes would be good - I always worry that the poor mages are freezing their arses off in the cold weather!

Only one of those images show a skirt. The rest are all long shirts.

And yes, that's what I want. Trousers and long shirts.

British VAs are not playing British people (and neither are American VAs playing American people).  They will read the lines they are given, and use the terms Thedas applies to either object.

Simple.

As far as these forums go, there is no "better" term.  As long as everyone acknowledges that pants in British English means underwear and in American English means trousers then there's no problem in communication.  That's all there is to it.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to catch this elevator because I really have to use the bathroom quickly before my favorite TV program is starting its new season after this soccer game.

I just want to say: the female wizard in Diablo3 looks effin' great, and Grey deLisle should be in DA3's voiceover-list.

Oh, and yes, give the poor wizards some dignity and add pants or trousers or whatever. And if you are at it: No comeback of the DAO wizard hoods, they looked far too ridiculous...

Speaking about fashion: Skyrim saw the awesomeness that are circlets. Can we have some of these for all kinds of chars? Not so much need for helmet-remove-mods then...

Grey DeLisle was already Velanna.

The same Grey DeLisle that has been voice work for them since Baldur's Gate?  I think Bioware knows about Viconia... I mean... Velanna... I mean Kahlee Sanders.... I mean Grey DeLisle

As far as the topic goes, I don't care about the robes as long as they don't look like dresses.   But then again... there are some people who want their character in dresses...

Is it bad to suggest that the robes be more like a hoodie or something that would be worn on top of other clothes.  It's all about the layers....

Question is in the title.  It's a simple and fundamental question.  A beautiful question that gets down to seat of what we love about Dragon Age.  I believe the community supports great butts, and I believe that mages have great butts.

I believe in mage pants.

Do you?

I do believe,I do believe. *worships mage pants*     :wizard:

In all seriousness,I wouldn`t mind seeing something like this, with mage robes replacing the armour itself.

That would be wonderful. Spellcaster Pants could become DA`s Marauder Shields   :o

I'm thinking a Marauder Shields cameo would be epic. You'd stumble upon a memorial statue in some deep dark dungeon. There have been little things like this between Mass Effect (the troll statue in the Kasumi dlc) and Dragon Age (the Mass Effect codex entries).:wizard:

The true source of DA3's conflict has been revealed.

Mage Pants versus Mage Robes

Do Templars support mage pants?  Mages support mage pants?  Neither!  It's a personal preference, one where the truth of a person's loyalties cannot be easily determined.  That's why you, DA3's titualr Inquisitor, will be tasked with discovering who covers their bum how.  And why....

I want this game more every day.

An awesome idea! Please, please, could you include Warrior Robes as well? :o

On Topic: Sure, I'd like to see more "badass" outfits for mages, like the Champion Armor or the Robes of the Notorious Pirate and I hope there will be again the option to "hide helmet", just in case... :)

(And when I look at Isabela, I'm glad at least rogues don't fight over Robes vs. Pants. B))
