#1 Choices that matter
#2 Not having LI's break up because I don't want my character to sleep with them.
#3 More Anders (unpopular, I know) I'd like to have a quest where he wants to actually redeem himself.
#4 Less rushing of a game out as if it's a sports game. I like seeing how my characters relationships and party members develop, Love interests and non love interest both. I hated feeling as if it was just about the sex as opposed to an actual connection.
#5 More qunaries.

Here's my list:
1) Lots of interaction with party members (both LIs and non-LIs). The more banter and dialogue the better. I want to grow attached to these characters and see them grow. Hopefully we won't be limited to a mere 3-4 conversations throughout the entire game.
2) Conversation trees with multiple PC responses with a range of tones and not a single trace of auto-dialogue. I want to feel as if I have control over my own PC and how she reacts to a given situation. I don't want to feel like an observer. This was my single biggest gripe with ME3.
3) A mature and gripping story without a simple resolution. I want a story that is emotionally charged and thought-provoking - something that I can become invested in. I want to feel as though my PC is shaping events, rather than simply reacting and dousing fires. I want to feel as though the world is responding to my choices, and that these choices matter.
4) A large, varied world full of interesting people and interesting scenery. Novelty is nice. I want to have the option to explore without being led down a linear path. The game world need not be massive, but it should at least provide the illusion of scale.
5) I want the option to play an intelligent or charismatic PC; one who can solve problems without having to constantly resort to violence, and isn't perpetually bewildered by obvious ploys. I realize that combat is a fairly large element of gameplay, but some of the most gratifying moments in RPGs have been when I was able to persuade/bluff/threaten/reason my way out of sticky situations. There should be a very good reason why I'm being forced into a fight - there were a large number of situations in DA2 that should have been easily resolved by a few words but instead devolved rapidly into pitched battles (I'm looking at you, third act).

1.Better DPS Warriors because Warrior Damage in DA 2 was a joke.
2.More Dialogues, More Choices and make sure that the choices actually matter and of course the endings better be better planets difference than the f*ck up one at ME 3
3.New Companions MUST be awesome but if Bioware make boring ones bring back DA Origins and DA 2 Companions
4. More Blood, More Gore
5. Better Character Customisation unlike the crappy ones at ME games which made retarded faces
Make This Happen Bioware Cheers!

1) You know how you can switch around control of other party members? What if this mechanic was incorporated into the narrative somehow? It seems like it might be super complex to pull off, maybe more than I know, but I've always wanted to see that aspect of the Dragon Age games taken further in some way.
2) I'd like to fight the Warden from DA:O, or fight alongside them somehow. If there is some sort of returning character like the Warden, it would be cool if their personality is based on what the player chose to do in the previous games.
3) Some sort of paladin class
4) Sandal

1. Challanging combat. Enemies are not challanging because they got a tonne of stats, but because they are smart, creative and have a vast array of attacks and abilities, the number increasing alongside with the difficulty.
2. Most armor should be sidegrades, with naked/little armor being a viable combat option. Less armor should mean more movement, stamina and agility, while more armor means more protection but less movement, stamina and agility. I wanna go bare-chested barbarian style!
3. A real character customizer. Let us make our character thin, chubby, curvy, athletic, fat, muscle-bound; different body types!
4. A deeper and more complex magical system. And a blood magic build worth something.
5. Allow us to customize the look of our gear.

1.I wish DA3 will be more like Origins and less like DA2
2.Open world-sand-box type of story, when you can do whatever you want. You will have a main story but you can handle it your way so the choices you made do matter.(In a word, freedom)
3.No more recycled and dull levels with lazy design.I'm talking about da2 now.I don't want to see that again.I rather wait for another 5 years and receive a better game.I'll pay gladly the price.
4.The combat in da2 was good, but everything else wasn't.More beautifull and interesting characters like the ones in Origins.Except Varric,I didn't liked that much any of the DA2 characters.I just didn't cared what happened to them.In Origins i did,and a lot...and they were so lovely designed...
5.Why do you try to make Dragon age intro Mass effect or something? I don't really care for mass effect,i love dragon age.I want to know that dragon age is a stand-alone game, with it's own personality and it's own thing...

Being that I have the up most confidence in the ability in the DA team, I have only a few desires. I want them to go back to the formula of Origins. I want to be able to customize my party anyway I see fit. I was disappointed in the fact that the most I was able to do in DA 2 was simply put trinkets and such for my party. That was a great disappointment coming from Origins. Hopefully they saw this. And my only other desire is that they keep to them idea that this is a SP game. I don't want co-op I don't want to see some tagged on horde mode that is tracked by some sort of readiness meter a kin to Mass Effect. Nor do I wish to see things such as team death match of chantry Vs Mage sympathizers. Keep Dragon age SP

1. Engrossing story with better use of interwoven plots and chekhov guns.
2. More complicated relationships. LI can cheat on you...and be faithful. Friends may attack, betray, or kill each other. In other words, your group act more like real persons.
3. A living, high fantasy world. I'm thinking of Elder Scrolls, The Witcher 2, Dark Souls. I'm thinking Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, and Name of the Wind. Not to mention Shadowmarch and Homeland. A big world to explore, stemming with life, danger, and adventure.
4. Player choice, customization, and ability to have real impact on the story. To the point the game has some real replay value to it.
5. Take the combat system to the next level. More realistic combat, destructible environments...but let me feel like I am really magically powerfully if I am a mage. Let me feel like a real ninja if I am a rogue. Steathly, silent, deadly, assassin. Let me feel like Conan the Barbarian if I am a warrior.
Bonus: Improved AI, improved follower dynamics, improved visuals (did not like the elves in Dragon Age 2), a lengthy high quality soundtrack, explosive sound effects, tight controls, ironed out bugs, and don't be afraid to push boundaries.

1. Lengthy and strong story that compliments it's world and has more focus and long term goals than in Dragon Age 2.
2. A darker world. I felt anything to do with demonic possession or the taint could have been cinematically more frightening; show the corrosion of insanity (Ruck, Larius). More relatable mages, showing their loss more effectively instead of a companion just ranting on about it. More dramatic tone when it comes to death and killing. Creepy darkspawn experiments. Betrayal! Bittersweet decisions! Broodmothers!
3. Bigger world. Huge world. Giant world! MEGA WORLD!
4. An awesome character creator. Better colouring and texture when it comes to hair and eye colour (especially browns. Less dirty and more rich and deep. When it came to designing a darker skinned character the brown eyes looked so dull. It's a petty gripe but still frustrating). Better complexions (only about two or three are usable out of seven). For gents: allow adjustability to cheeks and jaw post-beard. For women: Take out the bright makeup, add in dark colours (at the moment we get every eye makeup colour apart from black). For both: Better hair styles and more bone structures.
5. More great characters, new and returning.
I'm quite optimistic that DA:I won't be a let down. I'm really excited in any case, I just hope the game includes some of these things.

1. A story that doesn't fade to back and pop back in 5 years later
2. More customisation, I liked DA:O where you could pick Human, Elf, Dwarf etc each with their own varied backstory. DA:2 was more polished but it lost something in the detail.
3. More depth to LI, I don't want a relationship that is formed by good/bad answers I want to have to work for it, perhaps something akin to a loyalty mission from ME2.
4. More subtly in conversation, I don't want an obvious good guy/bad guy response. The world isn't black and white
5. Continuation of DA:O story in general, what happened to Morrigan and her demonspawn? Why is Flemeth almost guiding the heroes in one way or another.
6. Limited MP (if it is to be implemented) to drop in drop out coop
7. Try to write the entire game without Monty Python references. Okay just one, no one would expect that :-)
8. If you say something happens you should show it. i.e. In DA:2 You can invite your LI to live with you, they accept but were rarely in the house with you.
I know I dwell on the LI but for me this is and always has been a selling point for Bioware games and would love to see this expanded on. I'm not looking for a game to play house but I would like a more realistic depitcation of romance.

1) Remove the restrictions of DA2 for classes and items please. If i want to play a mage that wears heavy armor and goes melee, it's my decision. Don't force me to play my character in a way i don't like, i would appreciate that very much, especially in a game so limiting as to what classes you can choose from anyway. So, mages with armors and weapons other than a staff should be allowed, something like a d&d cleric or whatever. If you need a specialization for that, make something like an arcane warrior. It's better than nothing.
2) I would very much like to see a female love interest that is not a mage or rogue for once.
3) More customization for gear. Also i hope we finally see some nice looking armor, previous games lacked a bit in that department imo. Especially Origins was awful as far as armors are concerned.
4) No quests that just appear on your "to do list". Hey, Varric heard some rumors, now he's on to something, go there to check it out. See what i mean? Well, In my opinion that doesn't sound too immersive. Quests should have some meaning. If it's a rumor, make it something an npc says to someone else, when you pass by a specific area, and you hear it from there.
5) More tactical fights, less action.
I know that the game is something that i'll try out eventually, but the number 1 issue i have is with being able to create a character i like. This "straight warrior", "straight rogue", "straight mage" from DA2 was a huuge let down, i already only have 3 classes to choose from, specializations i couldn't care less about, and i can't mix some stuff between them?
Even mass effect allows that.
I seriously hope we will have the option to play a mage with armor and sword, or swordstaff, whatever, able to fight in melee, boosted by magic instead of physical prowess.

One thing I want to add.
There were rumors that the player character will get like a castle or some such to rule over. I kinda would like customization of that as well.

Companions with deeper background, and more "real", like the ones we have in DA:O.
DA 2 companions are terribly annoying, with the exception of Varric, and Bethany (but then again, I can't use her most of the game. A shame, I like her much better than the others).
Also, I want GOOD mages ffs. What happened to cool mages like Irving, Wynne, or Morrigan? They are real, interesting, and really likable.
And what's wrong with DA 2 Mages: an emo whiny idiot (Anders) who roasted thousand people because of some stupid reason (he's a fcking terrorist). An obsessive, stubborn, brainless, socially retard blood mage (Merrill) who keep following the dark part for no good reasons ("I can control it", "I can do it", blah blah blah) despite people around her either got screwed, or ended up dead (Open your fcking eyes). A likable apostate sister (Bethany), but either died right at the beginning, or died later on (seriously, you are trying too hard to kill Hawke's siblings....), and even if she survives all that crap, she still can't be used (either for the rest of the game if she joined Warden, or only available at the very end IF you side with mages....) And the only guy I thought was cool (Orsino) ended up turning himself into hideous monster ..... really... Are you trying to force player into siding with templar or sth... Mages are better than that =.=

Posté 06 avril 2013 - 08:41
1.) A good story. I hate just questing around with no aim, goal or purpose. (making money isnt a good goal)
2.) A main char i can connect to. Be able to give the answers i want EVERY TIME and not have their personality affected by the colour of my answers. Also be part of their lives and not just for a few days every few years.
3.) No more button mashing! I want challenging encounters where my abilities are actually required to win, i miss using traps, backstabing enemies, and most of all i miss the dual wield warrior. The difficulty level of an encounter shouldnt be determined by the number of enemies.
4.) Why can i always only talk to one party member at a time? I mean why does Merrill leave when i talk to Isabela or Anders when i talk to Varric? Cant they just all have a drink and a good chat together? And why can i invite Donnic to the hanged man for a drink but not my LI? Do i actually need to get a quest to go see how a friend is doing? How about having them over for dinner?XD Guess what i wanted to say is that id like convincing relationships to party members. Btw, one change i really liked in da2 was that rivary didnt mean the member would leave the party anymore.
5.) DAO was a great game, but i dont really want a clone. Something new would be nice, like lets say if Isabela really gets her ship, why not sail around a bit... and get attacked by pirates
a fight on the sea or in the air could also be fun... why not attack a dragon in flight (riding a griffin for example^^), injure them and continue the fight on the ground?
Btw... this game definitely needs more dragons! Give me more dragons to kill!

Btw, one change i really liked in da2 was that rivary didnt mean the member would leave the party anymore.
5.) DAO was a great game, but i dont really want a clone. Something new would be nice, like lets say if Isabela really gets her ship, why not sail around a bit... and get attacked by pirates
Btw... this game definitely needs more dragons! Give me more dragons to kill!

1. More character customization- if you have a set name like Shepard thats cool but let me pick the rest, and let me choose the color of my armor, if i want a spike or some chain hanging from my armor too even if it has no value but visual delight.
2. Some kinect commands that are useful- Like Heal to heal yourself, or (companions name) heal me/yourself. and if they r mad at you for the way you treated them they let you suffer, ahah.
3. Good/Bad or Paragon/Renagde have bigger effects such as powers for each speciffic for each side, and companions, joining/not joining or even leaving.
4. Bring back the dog! or some other compairable companion such as a tamed tiger or big cat or anything.
5. Since there is word of a castle i dont need to bring up that in this thread see my post in that one.

1. A duelist rogue that can wield a longsword and doesn't do so many flipty-doos.
2. A simple mustache that doesn't "lock" customization of cheekbones, ears or chin. The cheat in DA:O and a lot of patience would allow for this, but DA2's *"fix" spoiled that chance.
3. Dwarven romance options, male and female. If I cannot play as one, I would at least have the option to bang one.
4. A more neutral voice, that didn't have me change character entirely for chosing another dialogue option.
5. Not slower, but more weightened combat.
