2: Another 'Bro' companion. Carver does not count, hehe. I would like another character like Alistair. Bound together by the same fate and cast into a Bromance... Even for women.
3: I'm not so sure on this one but I'll throw it in anyway. I'd like to see the removal of the dialogue wheel, while a voiced protagonist is kept in. (I don't mind a non-voiced protagonist.) I love the wheel in Mass Effect but for some reason I just didn't dig it in Dragon Age.
4: Bring back the slight 'dark' element that Origins had. Dragon Age 2 felt slightly light and happy despite all of the suffering and death that was happening around me. Perhaps introduce a slightly more threatening situation, which actually threatens the existence of all of Thedas.
5: More enchanting music. If there is one thing that has left a mark on me from Bioware, it is the absolutely stunning song writing and musical work which capture the soul of their games.
Other than that... I have complete faith in this game. I just ask that you take your time, Bioware. If we have to wait a year longer than we had expected to receive an absolute masterpiece of a game, then it will be without a doubt worth the wait. Kick some ass.

I agree, I felt that DA2 was rushed and don't mind waiting in tense anticipation for the next one if it is more fleshed out. I can wait to play DA3, though I will still scoure the internet for information on it.

Well DA2 for me felt more like a prequal to DA3 rather than a actual sequel to DAO. DA2 just doesn't feel close to DAO as it should have been. Still the comedian/sarcastic Hawke playthrough was certainly enteraining especially the "Bee" joke Hawke does in Mark of the Assassin.

i agree with all these except the first one. Leliana coming back despite the DAO epilogue saying she was with my warden made me kind of sad.

but lease no more Manga characters like Fenris Killed him the moment it was possible and Ignored him like Tali in ME
but would like to have a Qunari companion like Sten or even a return of Sten
maybe a Qunari as LI could be interesting
a return of our Warden would be fun but seems highly unlikely
and i want to battle an Archdemon again or at least one Dragon that is as epic as Fighting the Saren and the Reaper at the citadel in ME1 as it is called DRAGONAGE and have a huge final battle like in DA:O where i can see my companions fighting or some sort of ME2 suicide mission (without the vents ) lol
and not have every friggin mage in the wild be a bloodmage like in DAII as that became boring pretty fast
i would like to see my choices from previous games matter as they did not seem to change nuch in DAII
have people leave the party like in DA:O if they disagree with your actions and you do not try to convince them to stay
like it to much darker than DAII was,
i want loads of cusomisation options and much better looking MAGE gear as they were mostly buttugly in prvious games
i want realistic handling of two handed swords and not swing them as fast as if it is a "normal"sword
i would like it to be sort of how it is done in Dark Souls wich looks pretty convincing to me how the twohanded swords are done:)
a return of Flemeth but i expect she will be in DAIII i would be surprised if she was left out

2. For god's sake, write meaningful paraphrases for the dialogue wheel that give me good idea of what my protagonist will say. Let them all go through QA after both the paraphrase and the spoken lines have been created!! Nothing is as jarring as selecting "I'm glad you're back" (option for Hawke to Isabela) and hearing "You did the right thing". That is most emphatically NOT what I meant.
3. Interesting non-stereotypical characters. Controversial characters who keep their controversialness and neither end up dead nor softened and turned into conventional good guys/gals. DA2 did ok in that though I wish for more complexity in the characters, ME3 didn't do well at all.
If half the player base loves a character, and the other half hates him or her, and it stays that way throughout the story, then it's done right.
4. A story that makes sense and feels complete when I reach the end. DAO felt complete, ME2 felt complete. DA2 didn't, and ME3 didn't. As for making sense, don't sacrifice consistency for drama, and don't sacrifice theme, lore, character or story integrity for the sake of being controversial and/or morally balanced. Every mage turning abomination in DA2, including Orsino, simply because the writers didn't want the game to become too pro-mage made no sense.
5. Slower and more tactical combat with no ridiculously over-the-top and/or nonsensical moves, and more intelligent use of the enemy wave mechanic.

PLEASE, FOR EVERYTHING HOLY IN THEDAS LET OUR PC (player character) HAVE LONGER HAIR.
I feel they did this well in ME3, as far as NPCs go. Hopefully the Frostbite engine can continue this.

Please, please, make it possible to shift to stereo sound & back without having to stop & restart the game. There are so many times when I'm enjoying 5.1 sound in DA -- then the phone rings, someone in my family needs to talk to the caller, and so for courtesy's sake I need to switch to headphones (thus implying stereo sound so I can still hear the dialog) and then back again when they are done.
If I'm in the middle of a battle with all of my characters carefully deployed, this becomes a particular nuisance, because they seemingly never spawn in at the same place that I'm positioned them.
Even if this is an OS issue, I'm sure there's got to be a way to work around it by releasing & reconnecting audio resources somehow.

2) better charater interaction and conversation. As well as my charater's choices with the consequences. I thought Witcher II nailed this.
3) better combat fighting. I thought DA I was better than DA II and Witcher II and Divinity II Dragon Saga better than both
4) have a stealth mode as in Reckoning
5) The capability to make weapons, armor and potions
I thought DA I was great and well done. I thought DA II while was it good was rushed just to get a 2nd game out, and where was the expansion pack? It had very little to do with DA I.
DA III has the potentional to do what DA I did and I hope it does.

1. I had wanted to be able to play another race then just Human, I was hoping to be able to play as a Kossith (Qunari), or some as yet to be released race.
2. I really want past choices that the Warden, Warden Commander, or Hawke has made. I n Dragon Age 2 a lot of the choices that where made in DAO were not considered, to correctly follow a story line from one game to the next, choices do matter.
3. I was hoping to be able to play character class that could be neutral to the Mage-Templar conflict.
4. I want to see a lot of returning characters from both Dragon Age games.
5. I want to see more of the known world. I would like for the game to take several different paths, meaning that you have to visit many different Countries to gather items to help solve the Mage-Templar conflict.
6. I also want to be able revisit some prior locations in Dragon Age Origins.
7. From reading what others have written, I also want there to be a chance for may Romances, these Romances should also be able to cross the Racial Barriers. The Romances should be more like Romance in the Witcher Series. I am an adult and there should also be more nudity.
8. I agree with others who have posted that there should be females from all races, this should also include the Kossith (Qunari).

2. More different moves in combat, or at least skills that have (even if slightly) different effects... kinda got bored by the always returning same stuff in DA2
3. I want those small things back, like little animals walking around and that every item had its own icon like in DA:O... in DA2 it was all the same
4. A story that really makes me want to play through it in one sitting
5. Please no waves of enemies just appearing

2. Kind of a mix between DAO and DA3 when it comes to character relationship and interaction. I felt like there was a lot more conversing in DAO, but DA3's character cut scenes, though less numerous, were really intriguing and often more involved in the main storyline.
3. Beautiful combat...like in DA2. I loved fighting in DA2. Much more fast paced than in Origins. I always felt my character was moving slow motion in DAO. heh. The moves looked cooler in DA2 too.
4. More freedom to take different paths.
5.
You know what...I don't even know! But I'm sure it's gonna be awesome ...even if it doesn't have all those things.
I'm excited. Hehe!

2. A TOOLSET!!!
3. The ability to have a different background and different race (like in DAO) to improve replayability
4. More opportunities for dialogue and romance with my companions
5. Satisfying answers/conclusions to the many mysteries that arose in DAO and DA2

Better walking animations, especially for the female models.
I got really tired of seeing characters walking around in the knees-so-in-front-ass-so-far-back-half-sitting-on-the-toilet posture, and the female models having their knees so far apart that a train could pass right between them (looking at you, Isabela). It wasn't as jarring when the characters were wearing robes because you couldn't see the distance between the legs or when the camera didn't show the legs, but it was there. DAO's animations weren't stellar but I got the feeling they seemed a bit more natural than the ones in DA2 (when you could see the legs there, as well, of course). So, a bit of tweaking in that detartment would be welcome, in my opinion.

2. Choices that matter...
3. Good memorable characters like it was in DA:O and returning characters. I would like to see Alistair, Morrigan, Leliana, Zevran, Anders, Isabella and Varric and maybe Hawke as a party member would be a good idea too.
4. Really big world to explore as it is in other great RPGs.
5. Fully voiced main character preferably better than Hawke. I don't like that he will be an Inquisitor but maybe he will be good.

2.) Deeper, more immersive plot.
3.) Graphics don't really matter though, in fact, I preferred Dragon Age: Origins graphics as opposed to Dragon Age 2 graphics.
4.) Less item dependance, and more tactical necessity. Need I say more about this?
5.) The return of skills, not the "talents", the skills, like Poison Making, Combat Mastery, etc. in Dragon Age: Origins.
I'm leaning more on going back to a Dragon Age: Origins style game, but don't get me wrong, both are great games, I love them both, in fact I've raped the "New Game" buttons to the point of having memorized each skill, talent, class build, etc. on both games.

I liked 2nd's combat more than Origins. I liked the ability to make a more depth character in Origins instead of just one person in the 2nd game. In Origins you could pick your race it was VERY cool, however in the 2nd game we could only be humans. :/ So what I want is: Combat like Dragon Age 2, story like Origins, character creation like Origins, LOTS of companions and last but not the least a GOOD ending! Make us feel like the fight was worth something, unlike some other game *cough* Mass Effect 3 *cough*. These are my opinions and I know everyone won't agree with me. Also please remove the annoying 10 character limit? Oh and perhaps a new game plus mode?!

2. More places to explore
3. Introducing new intresting characters while including old ones as well
4. Intresting plot!
5. Voiced character, with a bit more options to choose by than in da2.
I would really like to know a bit more about Morrigan's baby, perhaps having the boy/girl as a companion? It would also be very intresting to have The Warden's child as a companion (if he/she ever had one). Of course, it depends on how much time has passed between Origins and Inquisition. Also I did like the layout of spells and talents in da2 more than in Origins, although I missed the skills. Something I loved about da2 was that the character could move really fast during combat and the spells and the combat styles looked cool.

2. Involving romances - I felt as if there were only a couple of remarks that I was dating a psycho path murder who can make his body traverse through things
3. Choices that actually matter - Please I beg you don't make me feel as if I am playing with no influence to the story at hand.
4. More social customization - By that I mean choosing your house, butler, dog, living district and you know people actually respond to your social ladder standings.
5. Being able to meet my Hawke/Warden - Nuff said.

DA needs no MP keep it a SP only game
1 Companions i actually care about like in DA;O / MassEffect
2 an engaging Story that makes sense
3 loads of Customisation options starting with the Character creation like : tatoos / race/ backstory like in DA:O / skin/ hair
the option to mix up classes like Arcane Warrior/ Battle Mage / warrior rogue sort of like it was in KoA: Reckoning
or like the Archer / Rogue that had some offensive magic abilitys in Dragons Dogma
areas to explore with some usefull loot and lots of it
4 i would like to see the passing of time like Night / day cycles and have it change the behavior of NPC
5 some kind of usefull stealth system would be nice so you can sneak if you want

4. Better customization options
5. Character that "grows" with you during the game (be it cosmetics are what have you) and by your choices.
6. Merril :3
