Top 5 things you would like to see in DA3 Inquisition ?

Go into more detail about the fade and its creatures, not saying having game play set "IN" the fade just more lore on it basically.
Like whats the difference between a "Fade Beast" and a Pride Demon, why is it a beast versus being a demon or spirit? Also why is it so hard to kill, since it can be cut up into pieces and still live versus most demons don't seem to be that resilient, what made it so different? Why did it have its own altar or whatever that was?

I really hated Sister Petrice, man did I want to kill that character.

1) No voice for the main character! (DAII)
2) No more spawning out of thin air! (DAII)
3) Armor you can put on your companions! (DAII)
4) No more Mass Effect wheel! (DAII)
5) A Dragon Age Origins 2!
I disagree with 1,4, and 5. I like the voice because being mute kind of made you a bystander with everyone else talking around you. As for number 5 I would rather see them do something different from Origins and DA2, I think that they can improve on many things. Both Origins and DA2 had flaws and I think that Bioware will continue to work on them and create a better game because of them. Also, I don't want to play the same character than before because I am interested in playing a new one. The Warden's story ended well for me and I like that their story is semi-finished (missing in DA2). I wish that they had done the Exalted Marches expansion because I felt that Hawke's story hadn't quite finished.

2) Grey wardens. Grey Wardens are awesome. And if the Grey Warden PC survived it would be neat to hear of what monsters ass he/she are kicking now.
3)Enviroment! I want to see Ferelden and the other countries as beautifully as they where pictured in The World of Thedas.
4) I liked that we had a voice in Dragon Age 2, but take more advantage of it. Like, a encouraging speech before a final battle would be cool.
5) Returning characters or at least we should get to know what becomes of them. (and maybe a reunion scene with romanced characters or something )

3. Warden Story (I don't give a crap about DA2 story)
4. Party Customization
5. Get back to what made Dragon Age Origins great.

2) Shapeshifting. I know I'm probably in the minority on this one, but I liked the shapeshifting skills in DA:O. Sure, practically speaking they were very situational at best, but still fun and added a little flavor to the RP part of the game. I'd like to see it available again in DA3.
3) Modding tools or at least a mod friendly game. It's amazing how much creativity you can find among players. Let them express it.
4) Good animations for staff weapons. The animations in DA2 were a welcome step up from the stick poking that was in DA:O. Especially when an enemy got into melee range. Made much more sense for a character to look like they were fighting with it rather than just pointing at the enemy that was chewing on his face. And speaking of staff weapons, stick with the spear theme. Have the regular staffs too, but there's no reason a mage couldn't use a spear. Besides, it works pretty well for anyone that wants to play something of a warrior mage combo.
5) Make decisions matter. Decisions from previous games need to at the very least be acknowledged and decisions in DA3 need to have a real impact on the game world. And for God's sake, don't pull another ME3 by giving us an ending that completely ignores every decision made in the rest of the game and just hands us a choice of strawberry, vanilla or chocolate ice cream.

2) It would be cool if terrain played more of a role in combat
3)Please...no reuse of the same caves over and over again. Doesn't have to be a massive world though, they can spend the time elsewhere, just no repeating elements.
4)Story: I haven't played DA:O (blasphemy I know) so I don't know how well the story was executed there, but I find a story dealing of conflict between "normal" people much more interesting than the "good vs. evil" type of stories. The templar/mage conflict in DA2 was great, maybe just a bit more of a real ending this time
5)Expand the tactics - I really enjoyed those, but especially on NM it messed up things just as often as it helped. It has to e more sophisticated.
6)More customisation (armour etc.) for companions, and remove restrictions limiting weapons to certain classes/companions. Have armour sets for those who don't want to spend too much time on equipment (Those would be inferior to individually combined armour, but not too much)

2: More realistic body proportions, with men who aren't hulk-ish, and women who aren't somewhat embarrassing to be seen interacting with.
3: Combat a little slower and less cartoony than DA2, but faster than Origins. Also fewer waves of enemies and more non-violent resolutions to conflicts. (A lot in DA2 felt like it was just a tragic misunderstanding.)
4: Dialogue wheel icons that are more clearly based on tone, not morality. (i.e. Olive branch: "I saw that you burned down that orphanage, but I think we can work together." Fist: "Your a MONSTER!")
5: For the most part I thought DA2's art style was much improved from Origins, however I thought some things like the carpeted Hightown interiors looked too plastic-y and incongruous with the setting.
I didn't list armor customization, or the repeating dungeons issue, because you (BioWare) have already addressed this.
Can't wait for DA3!

It's to be hoped that the Mass Effect 3 decision to do away with all the above; forcing players to rely upon a pen and paper, along with browsing online game guides should be firmly consigned to the realm of:
'ideas that seemed to make sense during the development period, but in hindsight were completly insane"

2. More, more, party banter,
3. More realistic / tactical combat, not just hack n' slash, (I didn't like those enemies exploting in DA2)
4. More and deep drama, examples: more like real life: 2 friends become lovers and later broke up is different from 2 friends that never were lovers, that option with Leliana would have been nice. Also the option to comfort and hug your friends, (like ME2), that option would have been nice with Morrigan even if you played a male Warden.
5. Impressive cinematographic cutscenes, I didn't like the cutscenes of Skyrim, also it would be nice some Quick-time-events in boss fights (like in Resident Evil 4).

- The return of my warden. Not even a voiced conversation, perhaps just a cutscene where you see a group led by the warden who looks in your direction and smiles.
- An open world. I'd enjoy having the option of just roaming freely around the world. Taking in a couple of sights, maybe. Doing a pub crawl with my paty members with actual drunken cutscenes.
- A storyline where my own decisions would affect the eventual outcome. Dragon Age 2 was a bit of a let down in that respect, I mean however you played it the mages and the templars did the same thing, it felt almost like you hadn't even done anything.
- Party camp. Or something similar. I liked having everyone close by in Origins. In DA2 it was a bit chaotic trying to get companion quests when one party member lived in one part of the city and another lived on the opposite side. Far too many loading screens.
- Similar music to that on Origins. I know it doesn't really affect gameplay but it was just so beautiful and suited the game so much.

The Long List:
1. I enjoyed the faster combat style of DA2, but still retaining the ability to slow it down and dish out careful tactics. So more of this, refined. More diversity and customization in classes and what each one can do. P.S., I will never stop loving the way mages move in DA2, swinging their staves around like badasses. So much better than standing there looking like I'm having a hard time trying to poke the air with my staff. (More weapon options all around would be awesome, gonna give Guild Wars 2 a nod for great weapon diversity and how they were executed.)
2. Returning companions. Perhaps even a choice in returning companions, say; If you do this and that, you can get this person, but it might nullify your chances of being able to recruit that person - also potentially reliant on past decisions in previous games. And on the note of companions; Cullen. The lack of proper Cullen recruitability/romancibility torments me. Glimpsing over other peoples suggestions, I am not alone in this.
(*insert never-ending fangirl rant about Fenris here, too*)
3. Origins~! And I know it's silly and probably not at all do-able, but being able to choose your Warden or Hawke (as well as the option to choose a new character) for origins would be spiffy. I just really LOVED Mass Effect and seeing my Shepherd return + companions + decisions and their outcomes, and putting more of that in Dragon Age would be AMAZING to me. Either way, I want to know so much more about the Hawke bloodline.
4. After DA2; a wider world. Not necessarily an open world, but more options and places to explore, cities and countryside alike. When I play a fantasy-based game, a big part of my enjoyment of it is seeing amazing vistas and breath-taking sights. Finding little corners and just taking it in and feeling like I'm really somewhere else, and feeling like this stupid little breath-taking corner of the world gives me one more reason to fight and protect that world, or at least feel more immersed in the role. (That said, seeing areas changed by war, seasons, etc. would be sweet too.) Basically, a world that feels a little bigger, more alive, easier to get lost in.
5. More romance/companion interactions. I think it's been said a LOT already (obviously we want dating sims not adventures, game developers take note) but I'll admit these are just as much a driving force for me playing a game. After all the grim, dark adventures in the world, looking forward to the next exchange of dialogue is absurdly fun, or even just hearing the companions bantering among themselves is refreshing.
Also, having them make more interested comments and remarks towards the main character and current events would be swell. I was heartbroken after All That Remains in DA2, and all Isabela wanted to talk to me about was whether or not she needed a bath, and Varric was more interested in my developing relationship with the broody elf (granted, he did cheer me up a bit talking about all of the tales he was weaving about me).
...On that note; more Varric.
But yes, even bigger, better, greater character interactions that matter and make all sorts of emotional impacts (for good or ill). Also I saw people mentioning a castle/base, and that'd be freakin' awesome, but being able to talk at camps while traveling and stuff would be swell as well.
Wow I really did not think it'd get that long. I should have known better. Word Vomit Syndrome and all. I apologize profusely.
The Short List:
1. Cullen Recruitable
2. Cullen Romance
3. Cullen
4. Cullen
5. Dragon Age 3: The Cullen Chronicles
P.S. You guys are awesome, I'm super, super excited, and if you make a kickass Collectors Edition, I will absolutely dish out whatever cash for it. Promise. Also, be magical and take your time, make it a beauty of a beast of a game and all that good stuff - but please also hurry because I can't wait!

2. No morality bar, just what we think is the best for the given situation or what we think is right or wrong.
3. Customization (Choose our races/origin/background stories) but also influence on our companions. Allow us to help influence them and shape their thoughts maybe make them see things differently. Dynamic areas that change according to our actions or areas that we can customize/influence.
4. Smooth combat sort of like Dragon Age II (I liked the mage animations compared to the ones in Dragon Age Origins where it looked like they were just poking with their staffs), but make it more strategical please.
5. A fix to the scrawny Elves from Dragon Age II. This bothered me so much. Please make the animations more fluid, and the graphics better rather than have jaggy edges and tears throughout all peoples/races/etc.

2) Reworked persuasion system
3) Return of skills (not necessarily combat related, perhaps something out of combat? Skills that allow you new actions or open new pathways?)
4) If we're going to keep static costumes, have a few more of them (if, for example, we were going someplace cold, Isabella might actually wear pants
5) More french accents. =D

2) better combat.
3) not over - advertising the male only (I want the female protagonist to be there, have trailers too as much as the male, to have the same respect. Mass Effect was horrible when it came to female Shepard. I hope DA3 will make the difference and respect the female protagonist.)
4) if there's a facemodel for the male, I hope female has a facemodel too. It was bad enough that FShepard didn't have any facemodel (but useless characters like Kai Leng or Allers had). Ugh.
5) enough options in game and different places. I don't want to be like DA2 where the game had the same places again and again.

While I can understand this thought, (and I always play FemShep, am about halfway through my third full ME1/2/3 playthrough atm) she's my Shepard! She is Shepard. I've never played BioWare's "Jane", and wouldn't want to.
Same with my Warden and my Hawke (over three-dozen of the former and at least a dozen of the latter). They are my characters, with features and quirks that I selected (some accidently) that make them unique. So a facemodel wouldn't really matter to me.
But what are the "5 Things I would like to see in DA3"? Well, if development is as far along as required for a 2014 release date, then there's not much any of us could say now that will make any difference, but here goes...
5) Greatly modified "area reuse" (if it's not going to be eliminated completely.) See the Mass Effect series for how it can be done without totally annoying the players. Many, many encounters in the ME games occur in what are essentially the exact same maps, but with interior changes to colouring, wall coverings, lighting, and placeables (partitions, static crates, and lootable lockers, etc.) that make them at once "new, yet familiar". As a player, after a few of these I understood the basics of how to navigate through them successfully, (and even appreciated the repeatability) without feeling like "Oh, it's exactly the same warehouse again." although the exterior limits, and even interior room/door layout might have been identical.
4) "Less random" side quests. Not fewer, just more context for them. Loved the number of them in DA2, and the snippets of stories we got with some of them. But I can't recall how many times I was totally surprised when I spoke to some named-NPC I encountered on a street in Kirkwall only to have the "Quest Complete" notice pop-up. That never happened in DAO. I always had to make a special effort to accept, much less accomplish, these additional tasks.
3) More Hairs (and eyes, complexions, tatoos, etc.) And please make the lighting during the CC phase more like during game-play itself. I actually deleted more than one character I'd spent quite a while designing because I couldn't bear to look at them when I saw them in-game.
2) As I've mentioned elsewhere, (see "Will you pre-order DA3") mutiple races/backstories for the Player-Character! Made all the difference in DAO becoming my all-time most-played game. 7 origins x 2 genders = Replayablity!
And the Number One thing I'd like to see in DA3?
1) MOAR Party Banter. LOTS MOAR! Party Banter 24/7. I know that both writers and voice actors are expensive parts of game development. But it's this element that makes the Dragon Age series so much more than a hack-n-slash. We care about the game because we care about the characters. We care about them because we feel we know them. We get to know (and love/hate) them through what they say. And what they say to each other, rather than in direct response to plot-required canned queries, makes them seem so much more "real".
(Did I mention MORE PARTY BANTER?

1. The story of "DANE" who was apparently a werewolf and also the father of "Weyland I" who is known to start therin bloodline.
2. The Avvars... they are mentioned alot more in awakening(Since vigil keep was a barbarian strong hold)
3. WHAT'S THE TRUTH ABOUT BLACK CITY OR THE GOLD CITY OR THE FADE CITY OR THE CHANTRY CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4. No more Orzammar, bring out the last 3 dwarven cities ...... Kal-sharok, Hormak and Gundaar
5. seems dwarves knew barbarians and chasind long ago and Elves even before that. somebuilding in game have dwarven and elven origin .... i would more explanation. (if you are a dwarf playing origin, talking to chasind at the beginning in ostogar gives some insight.)
6. Eluvian and elves , explanation needed (Why apparently they stoped waking up from the sleep, i dont think it was explained throughly and(my speculations) perhaps has something to do with why moriggan wanted a clean uncorrupted soul of the old god. Since elves are supposed to be one of the oldest races so possibly have connections with whatever these old god were/are. In the game expansion where you are following morrigans trail and trying to catch her, you learn that she has taken something of great importance from the elves........
7. Why do the elves have such a close relationship with flemeth.... asha-belanar??? explanation needed. In origin it is hinted that she started her life somewhere in ferelden with a husband who was a theryn or bannorn... or bard who came to the castle owned by some bannorn. No elves are mentioned. Something happens (unclear b/c different accounts) and she makes a deal with a demon( also unclear here, aparently made a deal with a spirit first then a demon by some accounts) to seek revenge.....again no elves are mentioned....................She is then said to start a war rallying all the chasind of the wild to her cause and moving against "some leader"........... oh i can find more accounts ....lets see:
" An unnamed witch that helped an ambitious dog handler gain power to become the first king of Ferelden's most notable royal family. "
This is (pretty much) the story of Calenhad as told by the Qunari .... I wonder who this "unnamed witch" is .
no elves so far.....
"An unnamed (who is also know as flemeth) witch that helped an ambitious grey warden gain power to defeat a blight and become the first Warden commander.
Hawke is helped by Flemeth and we now learn that the elves know flemeth very well, maybe to well....
Flemeth:
She helped create the kingdom
She helped to end a blight( possibly more that once)
She helped institute the position of Warden Commander
She practically made sure Kirkwall had a champion ( or gave kirkwall a champion)
She known by all the elves(WHY!!???????????????????????, it just cant be because she is older than,...than a mountain )
OH ...and she told morrigan the idea of capturing uncorrupted soul of old god. WHY???? and morrigan stole an eluvian (i think).....
So i come back to my original point..........the relationship between the elves and flemeth or asha-belanar needs to be explained more throughly and with it... probably an explanation of Flemeth herself.

2: Weight sliders. Maybe I want a muscle bound female warrior protagonist, or a scrawny theif male protagonist. It irritated me a bit in DA2 to have a beefy male mage when most NPC male mages weren't.
3: Open world, or at least partially open. TES isn't the only open world game, so I don't see why people worry an open world would give them another TES. Zelda games? Open world. Final Fantasy games? Open world. There are hundreds of open world games.
4: Voiced PC. Loved it!
5: Mounts. Horses? Goats?? Wryvens!? Having carts hitched to oxen or mules laden with supplies is something I feel has been missing from DA.

just want to know what happened. I understand that there is a new
engine and the graphics are different but how hard would it be to add a
quick customization of her appearance and put her in the game? The warden doesn't even need a voice.
2.
I want the return of old characters! Like Alistair, Morrigan, Leliana,
Sten, Zevran, Oghren, and Shale. Tell us what happened to them.
3.
More detailed characters and interaction with them. With Dragon
Age:Origins everyone had a story and personality. I miss being able to
stop in the middle of whatever I was doing whether I be in the Brecilian
Forest, or in the Circle tower surrounded by demons you could talk to
your companions at the drop of a hat. With Dragon Age 2 you couldn't
interact with them as much. Or at all really.
4.More customization options with abilities, weaponry, wardrobe, and I would like to customize my companions as well.
5.I
know everyone loved the dialogue wheel but I hated it. In DA:O you had a
wider variety of ways to approach the conversation. In DA2 you could
only be diplomatic, sarcastic, or aggressive but nothing in between.
Sure you could answer with a diplomatic response then an
aggressive/direct response but if your first answer is diplomatic you
will be branded a diplomat. Then it will take two times a different
response sarcastic/direct in order for your "personality" to change.
That's ridiculous. I do not want to be branded a diplomat, or an
aggressor, or as a sarcastic. I want to be in between. Just because I
responded diplomatically for the first five times doesn't mean I'm a
diplomat (I know I've used that word too much) who can't be aggressive
when need be and can't crack a joke once in a while. All my decisions
and answers should reflect my personality. I hope that made sense. So
in short I want a variety of dialogue options that expands and develops
my personality.
6.(I know I'm only supposed to state only five
things but I've got more!) Do not reuse environments like in DA2! It was
horrible! The same thing over and OVER again. The environments weren't impressive the first time I saw them and you want to reuse them? Blah!
7.About Hawke's voice....were do I begin? It was awful. Everyone else had emotion in their voice but Hawke's was just bland. I
didn't believe in anything she said. When she tried to be commanding
it was like, "Whatever Hawke. Go lock yourself in the gallows." Or when
she said. "Lets make Kirkwall a better place for everyone." I was like
Maker's breath shut up! I don't necessarily want a mute protagonist but
with Hawk I would have preferred it. I want an experienced actor with
real emotion or none at all.
8. Things I do not want in DA3:
Kirkwall, Hawke, a moody Anders, Sebastian (if you do add him can I at
least kill him?), Kirwall, enemies continually spawning for no reason,
Kirkwall, (I'm adding it again just in case you missed it the first two
times.) and Kirkwall.
9.(I know I need to stop.) Here are some little things I would like:A better soundtrack like in DA:O, more specializations I missed being a Spirit Warrior, Guardian, Spirit Healer, and a Ranger, and better loot.
Also PLEASE
don't rush it! Take as long as it needs to make the game perfect. I
would rather wait until the next Blight for a great game then to have it
quickly and be thoroughly disappointed.
Some of the reasons DA:O was
so amazing was the indepth story, characters, and environment that DA2
lacked. I know DA:O has its faults but its still superior when compared
to DA2. Errrr, thats my opinion, anyway. hehe. I love Alistair.
