- Choice of race again
- better character development (more like Origins)
- Morrigan? WTF happened with Morrigan, because the Witch Hunt DLC did nothing for me. Want her back.
- Where the f--k is my Warden! He was kind of a bad****, unlike my Hawke.
- Don't want another Blight, but something big like it again in the story. Nice twist in the story and long, long campaign.

they brought back liliana, why not do the same for the architect(or put in a protege of his if you killed him) and throw him into the plot?

My plot-intuition tells me we'll be seeing Corypheus again. I think this is because Bioware regretted giving us the option to kill him in Awakenings. There's plenty of story potential there, and I think Corypheus will work well as a substitute Architect.

(Not much of a problem for me as I never killed the Architect, but still...)

yeah, making him a crazy nut job like everyone else was HIGHLY frustrating

1. Prettier maps. I don't care if they end up getting re-used as long as they finally look gorgeous in some way. Squeeze the most out of them if need be, but make sure they're pleasant to re-visit.

2. Lots of female leaders or leaders-in-training a la DA2 and the Honorverse. Goods, neutrals, bads, many.

3. More LGBT characters. Herosexuality. Queer presence at least on par with DA2.

4. Squad banter for sure. Squad armor customization. I liked how DA2's convo camera encompassed the entire party. It'll be great if the squad offers up many opinions and variables to the narrative depending on who is present or not during convos.  :)

5. Stick with having the elves as allegories of the Irish or even the Scots, but not Native Americans. It doesn't flatter NA folks to be linked with non-human creatures originally cooked up by people who came from the Isles.

1. I'd adore the addition of a romanceable female Kossith companion, possibly Tal-Vashoth. Or maybe raised outside of Qunari culture entirely to give the character a less alien perspective on Thedas.

2. I was actually okay with everyone being bisexual in DA2. It added to the replay value (at least for me) and made the game feel less restrictive. That returning would be A-okay with me.

3. This is a long shot and I guarantee it won't happen, but if DA3 ended up as a sandbox open-world style game like Skyrim or Red-Dead, complete with being able to jump, platforming (to a degree), getting to play minigames (Pazaak!) throughout the world or with your companions (Wicked Grace anyone?), go hunting, etcetera etcetera I would be over the moon.

4. More choices on the dialogue wheel. 3 feels limited, and if it were bumped up to 5 or 6 choices I would probably think harder about what I want to say.

5. I don't know how or why this would happen, but I want the option to fight the Maker.

How about separate inventories? Maybe everybody has their own carrying capacity that can be upgraded with new backpacks? That way, never again shall you let "inventory full" ruin your day.

 1. A well-defined protagonist along the lines of Hawke and Shepard. A voiceless, highly individualized player character as in Origins is a non-starter. The protagonist has to be voiced and must have their own identity (subject to and influenced by the player's decisions, of course) or the storytelling will suffer.

2. I'd love to see Isabela or Varric (or both!) back again.

3. A more interesting spell and ability system. I suggest allowing hybrid builds (i.e. allowing a character to learn, say, both Mage and Warrior abilities).

4. Something to make cutscenes more interactive (Mass Effect's Paragon/Renegade interrupts are really fun).

5. Strong characters and engaging dialogue (probably goes without saying).

- Returning characters like Isabela, Varic, Morrigan, Lelliana, Cullen (as companions, that would be great)

- Truly see the impact of your decisions on a vast, varied world - similar to what Fable 2 implemented : your choices fashioned the environment you evolve in (a lake was dried, an area turned into a wasteland, etc)

- A strong, fully-voiced protagonist - and fully customisable (incl choice of race - I'd love to play as a Qunari too). I also find it more interesting when you can't truly guess from the selection wheel what impact your decisions will have around you.

- More party banter ! :-)

- A spell and ability system that allows for hybrid builds would be great - why not do it like Skyrim in a way...

Well I would like to see most of the characters from DAO back including mine. I just have a hard time using canned pc with limited choices.

being able to choose is the main thing. the more options and choices we have the more enjoyable it is for everyone. more paths to pick and explore. The character creation from DAO was really good and being able to travel around the map in any order we wanted was great.

I would love to see a world similar to Witcher 2 where your choices not only affect the events in the game your in but in the games that come after. not to mention the awesome detail that world had. the graphics were great.

I want a story that will pull me from place to place but leave me the ability to stop along the way and take care of personal business that has little or nothing to do with the main event.

a options menu that will allow us to customize the game to our needs and wants. to be able to turn off or disable features we dont like. such as a option for gore or to have QTEs, camera angles. many possiblities.

I guess in the end i want to see the best of my 3 favorite games, The Witcher 2, Skyrim and DAO, combined  and made ever better :)

The ability to play my character the way I've designed him, even if that's not the way BioWare expects him to be played.

THIS

And these...

- NO AUTO DIALOGUE - More dialogue options and a more descriptive dialogue wheel.
- Different playable races and origins - Elf, Dwarf, Kossith.
- Choices that matter.
- Returning characters.

We could use a character creator similar to the one in DA2. Would love to have its barbershop mirror all during playthrough as well.

I was thinking about the polluted areas around Lothering that are uninhabitable and whether there's any way to cleanse them. Then I thought of Dagna and whether she might be able to come up with a solution.shrugs.

agreed, DA is NOT like ME, as it doesn't use guns, the fast pew pew action doesn't fit,  RPG elements need to be brought back from origins and consoles be damned (i have a PS3, OH! and they can use a mouse and keyboard set up, i do at times)

Dialogue wheel and message/upgrade terminals (aka letters and crafting stations) also remind too much of Normandy. Complete with Bodahn Feddic saying "You've got new messages".

- Returning characters, Morrigan,Warden and Hawke most important
- Better graphics, closer to Origins style
- More dialogue options
- Traveling to different cities and countries, bring back party camp
- Origin stories and different playable races

Dragon Age:Origins should serve as an example, that game is a masterpiece.

What are the top 5 things you are hoping to see in DA3

For me it has to be:

1. Returning characters, particularly Morrigan and Isabela

2. Improved combat tactics mechanics - Its very frustrating when tactics end up broken, I love the tactical element so I'd like to see them get this right first time

3. A Multi-player mode that does not affect the single player campagin

4. Choices that matter - Lets see consequences to choices from both DA3 and even DAO and DA2

5. In depth characters - Bioware always do a great job with characters, but I'd really like to see more interaction with companions, not just a "Isabela wants to speak to you type thing"

Thoughts ?

1. Add Alistair and Fenris as well
2. I agree. I actually enjoyed the fighting in 2 better than O
4. Yes!
5. Yes!
My person 3, SEX SCENES. WTF happened in DA2 ... boo. Better romance!!!

Choices within the  game to next   game Witcher really like  .........you support Shani  and  tell Triss  to  go away ..

that  works  fast forward  2  guess  who the GF scene 1 is ..

Witcher is actually fairly linear with  branches in  the story  that  converge to the same  ending ...and  little  that effects      or effected  2 from 1  and  many of  the choices made in witcher one  overwritten .

Not that  bad  game  for me 1 was a better game 2 a better  visual treat .But to claim  it  was in story   radically  different from  Da is  not  correct.

1. Better camera. It's not friggin complicated, just let me turn ANY AND ALL automatic camera movement off, duh. Also make it zoom out further. Just copy World of Warcraft, it seems they're the only company with decent UI people.

2. Hotkeys and quickslots, a ton of em. Why the hell am I limited to 10 hotkeys in DA2? Why can I not bind every single damn slot to a key? Why do I have only a few dozen slots? Do you guys have any idea what a keyboard looks like or are you under the impression it only has as many buttons as a console controller or something?

3 Combat log, even if it's not on screen all the time and only accessible from a menu. I'd really appreciate it if I could check and see wtf just molested a party member from full health to death in a few seconds. If I could just check the friggin log, it'd be a lot faster to learn stuff like how bad an idea it is to not focus on the arcane horror asap, or check out whether it's the mage with the fire staff or the warrior's lightning rune that keeps popping up those "immune" messages.

4. ...Which reminds me, the floating text sucks. For example, the health bar flashing white is a ****** way to indicate a crit, just slap an exclamation point after the text instead or something. Many other things could be better here too, like seeing what type the incoming damage is.

5. Just let me friggin know how it works in detail. I don't want to see "X damage" when I inspect the Fireball spell, I want to see something like "X+Y% of magic score+WhatEverOtherCrapInfluencesTheSpell'sDamage", with the total damage included at the end. My head won't explode if you treat me like an intelligent person, I promise. I'm sick and tired of modern games making it impossible to make informed decisions about builds because they simply refuse to provide the necessary information.

I could go on but that's five so guess I'm done.
