2. A larger, differentiated and open world.
3. Tactical combat.
4. More race and class options.
5. Ability to equip gear in all slots on both pc and companions.

2. More badass ninja combat animations. But not too much so they can repeat every single battle.
3. Less player driven dialogue. Too much clicking is bad for my fingers.
4. Preset faces for the main protagonist. BioWare should return to it's origins - KOTOR style.
5. Cut the ties with previous games, nobody remembers what they did in DA:O anyways.

2. More environment. DA 2 main fault (aside from the ****ty story) was Krikwall. Same ****ing environment over and over again.
3.Make the "sex scene" you know... more like sex! Don't just show both of the character dryhumping each other. Show a boob, a ****** and dare I say, a penis.
4. A slower combat. I found the combat in DA2 to a cluster****.
5. Have an epic final. The nail in the coffin for me, when it came to Dragon age 2 was the ending. It was stupid. Felt like it need a rewrite or two. Or three.

The developers should concentrate on more important things than level design! Just reuse maps from Kirkwall.

1. I would like some non-combat gameplay elements in the game. Such as joining different factions; crafting items via blacksmithing, cooking, etc; marrying my love interest; being able to buy land and build either a home or base.
2. More classes by combining the existing three, like a Warrior/Mage class or Rogue/Warrior class, as a sort of jack-of-all-trades but a master of none sort of thing.
3. The ability to customize my companions attire, instead of them just having the same look through the entire game.
4. More Anora content, since I married her and her being the Queen and all...
5. Destructible environments (if possible).
EDIT: And please ignore Mr. Kusy.

*Pretty hair. Pretty please can I have hair for the console that is just as pretty and awesome as what I can get modded on PC?
*Ability to tweak your iconic character. I thought Hawke was awesome- would have loved to give her green eyes or red hair. Can you make this happen?
*Customizable Colors. Can I have green mage robes (pants!) if I want them, or gold rogue outfits. I enjoyed the dye system on the old Fable games. I'd like something like that.
*Mage Pants. I don't think I need to explain this.
*Cullen?

Two NPC's placed in the DA3 game based on the appearence and persona's of Greg and Ray. Not plot or story related but more inline with how Sandal and Bodain are together in the series. Humorous and together somewhere in the DA3 world, no longer present at Bioware but present in Dragon Age universe itself. Living representations in the world of Dragon Age. Not story related but maybe wandering the lands of Fereldan or Orlais together searching for better future for themselves, done in a humorous and creative way.
Make it happen Bioware please.
Anyone who doesn't want this or agree with this idea is pure evil and big meanies.

Origins !!!!!! !!!! !!! !! ! or other variant gameplay that helps define your variable place in the world, race selection, expanded weapon selection, more character generation options >all goes together, in order of importance
2. Story and Presentation:
Much more choice/consequence, with more emotional resonance between characters in the personal parts of the story, lots of party banter and party interactiion in story events, more physicality in general, and a high level of intimacy in romances, preferably not shunted out as extraneous side stories, and hopefully nudity inclusive where the scene would naturally call for it
3. Customization:
Much increased customization, both stat and equipment along the lines of the David Gaider post, hopefully story influencing, story and skill branching paths for specialization options
4. Revamped Combat:
Goes back to the Origins stat system for the most part, emphasizes battlefield tactics rather than gamey things like ccc, has lock-on auto-attack and auto-defense with synched animation ala Arkham and Assassin's Creed games, has more visceral, realistic basic combat animation and finishers that aren't on speed crack, introduces a running transitional attack that replaces the instant attack jumps or DA:O shuffling, allows for more party members in the party at all times or at least in more frequent larger battles, has no giant lifebars unless it's a high dragon, brood mother type thing, does not rely heavily on resistances and immunities, and allows for mounted combat in some battles (treat it statistically and game mechanically like a summons), all in that order (see my 30some odd point list in my suggestion thread posts in the DA2 forum)
5. World Imports:
Major importing decisions from previous games, and returning characters: Morrigan, Leliana, the Wardens and Hawkes (along with character creation and alternative custom face selections from a default pool), the remaining members of Vigil's Keep from DA:A and other grey wardens (Velanna and Sigrun in particular, then Bethany and Nathaniel), the Monarchs of Ferelden (especially if that's the Warden), Merrill, Isabella, Anders, Sebastian, Loghain, the remaining members of Leliana's group from Leliana's Song, the party members from Witch Hunt, the dwarf noble's son, the boy from Redcliff grown up, Tallis, Shiani, all in that order of importance
That's my list. :-)

2. A story not given over to the mage-templar conflict, those of us who identify with neither side felt alienated by DA2.
3. Party-based, zoomed-out real-time with pause, tactical combat. DA:O was almost perfect, just the action lag to fix.
4. Better designed levels. No outside 'tunnels'. Chokepoints for plot device is fine on occasion but walking around in a dungeon corridor that just has a sky themed roof is rubbish. Levels should have multiple possible paths. More Carridin's Cross less Dead Trenches (level design not other things)
5. Likable companions. I realise that this is very subjective, but I had problems finding 3 DA2 companions I wanted to take with me. In DA:O it was the other way around.

2. No fetch quests if they're anything like DA2 and ME3s. If there's no story around it I'd rather not have to go get you your hat.
3. Differences between female and male romances if the characters go both ways. I suppose it's possible Hawke found 4 bisexual love interests, but that each gender's scenes and dialogue were exactly the same was the bigger problem.
4. Returning characters and not just quick cameos. I want to see Merrill again and it'd be nice to see them involved in bigger stories than one mission, don't let the ME2 character thing happen again..
5. Don't forget Hawke. I like Hawke. I was severely disappointed that we didn't get a final DLC for DA2. Flemeth hinted at some big world shattering moment for Hawke, and I don't think anything in DA2 qualified and that's what I hoped the last DLC was going to be about.

- More unique and personal music, not generic ambient music.
- More explorable lands (a la Skyrim), not smaller "zones".
- Take place in lands we have never explored before.
- Continue with the more reactive combat from DA2.
- Less "filler" quests.

1) Good length. I don't mean DA:O style. Origins only had a few main missions but those missions were really long. For DA3, i'd like to see shorter missions but a lot more of them and a lot of side quests. So if people want to blitz through the main story, they should be able to, but for people like me that love optional side quests, we should be able to have plenty of those too. .
No. Maker no. No. These sidequests from a lot of today's games are getting way out of hand and incredibly useless. I want the missions to be exactly in the same presentation as Origins had.

2) Do not get "inspired" by other games overly much. If I want to play Skyrim, I'll play Skyrim. If I want to play a Bioware game, I want to see what I love about them. Characters I can relate to, intense writing, attention to detail (The lovingly crafted DAO interface versus DAII's sterile one)... Which does not mean that other games' achievements should be ignored, but I don't want to go "Ah, there's this feature from...." (ME's scarring feature was a massive Fable ripoff IMHO....and it was reduced to a gimmick)
3) No cameos just for the heck of it. (DAII Nathaniel, Zev and even Alistair) If former companions/important NPCs show up, it must mean something. I.E. DAIII takes place in Orlais and we visit Montsimmard in an import where Loghain is alive....don't waste Mr. Templeman's talents on a "Hi, I'm Loghain. I'm still alive." gimmick. Honor such a major decision properly or not at all.
4) No padding dungeons ala DAO OR copy paste enviroments ala DAII. But that's a given.
5) Don't get lost in the shuffle by wanting to implement too much too quickly. I'd rather see ten brilliantly implemented features than 50 half baked ones. Personally, I'd love to see the Friendship/Rivalry and Personality system polished, improved and expanded. To name but one example. Or, if Origins make an appearance again, make them MATTER. My Cousland was severely traumatized by the events at Highever but other than a few lines with Howe and having to remind Alistair that he is not the only one to have suffered loss, it meant little.
That's all for now.

Has no one mentioned proper sneaking gameplay? The so-called stealth system in all of Bioware's games would have been unacceptable in 1998
Yes the sneaking in MOTA was bad but to be fair it was a DLC and there is only so much you can change the engine in a DLC, If Bioware is implementing proper stealth gameplay in which you can scout the battlefield and see all enemies then it will be designed from the start.
That's what they said about Origins' dlc when everyone was complaining that they were reusing maps.

Our character should engage in party banters as well like MOTA and legacy banters, I loved those!
YES, I forgot that. In DA 2 it always felt like Hawke was so...apart from the group. I loved Hawke's banter with her companions in MotA.

2) If my main character is wearing a heavy suit or chainmail, I want to actually hear it clanking and moving about when I walk or run. This was present in DAO, but in DA2 my tank warrior was wearing a massive amount of heavy armor and was quieter than a stealth rogue running around. Little, seemingly unimportant things like equipment and weapon sound effects draw me into the experience so much deeper. Dark Souls, I think, does a amazing job with armor and weapon sound effects.
3) Reduce the cool down on the healing spell. It was ridiculously long in DA2.
4) Do not, I beg you, make every single love intrest conveniently bi-sexual. Dragon Age is a ROLE PLAYING game, right? So if a female player wants to romance a female LI that happens to hetero sexual (or vice versa), then they can create an additional playthrough and ROLE PLAY as a male PC. I did this myself in DAO. In order to romance Alistar, I did another playthrough as a female noble and it didn't kill me to do so. Let's have it all in DA3: Gay, Straight and Bi. Painting every romanceable character with a broad stroke robs characters of depth and, to me, makes me very aware that I'm playing a video game, which shouldn't happen with a good game. What exactly is so horribly wrong with being gay or straight? Every LI just happens to be a blank sheet in terms of sexuality that suddenly gets filled in depending on what sex the PC is? Please, please, please consider reverting to Origins style of handling romace, with the one addition of adding strictly gay romances too. This would help shake that feeling of 'I'm playing a video game right now', and would add to the richness and uniqueness of every character, therefore drawing the player in deeper emotionally.
5) Make the rogue less ridiculous in DA3. Teleporting, grenade round-housing ninjas should have no place in the Dragon Age universe. Also, bring back the sustained mage ability to apply ice or fire to the party's weapons.

What happened to Hawke and Anders, did the mages from Kirkwall go to Ferelden ? Did they survive ? Was Anders (and Hawke) present when the Asunder vote occurred...
