I haven't put this in any order.

1. Good design. No giant swords, keep the unrealistic female armor to a minimum, no spiky armor and most of all no generic inconsistent art design. As an example I thought that Kirkwall was reasonably well designed. It was consistent looking and its just too bad we didn't get to see more of it but that is a different subject.

2. Slower and less flashier combat. Not as slow and clunky as DA:O (although DA:O's combat is preferable to DA 2) but still a bit slower. Also it would be really good if blocking and parrying animations were put back in. Or at least something to make the combat not look and feel so weird.

3. Choices that matter. Also choices that aren't too black and white. I think the developers should look at the first Witcher game for inspiration maybe...in a lot of things actually. I loved that game.

4. Good characters. No cliches or anything...try not to put anything there for the sake of it etc. etc.

5. Good combat tactics and less waves of enemies. Waves of enemies is nice in moderation. Like in DA:O at Soldier's Peak.

1. Returning characters, particularly Morrigan

2. Several choices with different outcomes. Kinda like three choices, good, bad or indifferent and make them hard to tell the difference like a grey area

3. Banter, allow the companion's to banter with each other while we play and make it entertaining. Allow them to be interactive with each other

4.Maps. Get more maps like Orgins, make each place unique and big, but not massive.

5. In depth characters - The new companions make them very unique sorta like how we liked orgins. Make them very special l and different in their own way.

5. And mmmmmmm Anders

As long as I can set him on fire:devil:

If he died, it would be neat to see Justice becoming an implacable foe, rounding out the downward spiral (and letting you finish off the other half of him).  If not, the redemption/attonement arc suggested by Merrill would be interesting.  (Or seeing him trying to make up for his acts trying to keep demons away from mages in the Fade.)  The ending of DA2 felt more like a chapter ending rather than the end of a novel.  It would be nice to do some side quests for our old companions/characters rather than just an aside mention.  Hmmm.

My 5 things-
-FOR THE LOVE OF THE MAKER PLEASE BRING BACK ARCANE MAGE!!!
-Armor changes for companions
-Banter that coincides with storyline between companions (more various conversation).
-Stories to each weapon and armor like in DA:O
-The ability to play your Warden or Hawke*

The last one is a big one that I know will most likely not be available, but I think it would be so cool to be able to return as your Warden or Hawke. It gives further depth to each character and where their futures go, and it would also give high replay value to the game, because of course you would want to play out both stories.
As I said it most likely will not be the case, but it was a cool idea (imo lol) I will be happy with maybe the book Asunder having much to do with what happens in DA3. I would also like to see some of the characters from that book, or perhaps some information via journals regarding the Asunder story.
And on a side note-please, no multi-player, not for Dragon Age and if you do, don't make it so that we who enjoy playing the game alone, are forced to do multi-player. Thanks.

1. Choices that Matter-include the choices we made in previous games to influence DAIII:I
2. Long compaign that the MP doesn't interfere with
3. Tactical fighting style
4. Bring back DA:O Companion interaction (i.e. camp site)
5. Better dialog options like in DA:O (I hate the dialog weel, it was to limiting & never portraid what I thought Hawke was going to say)

Optional traid offs
6. At least 1-2 returning companions from previous games (Idealy for me Verric & Bethany [if alive] from DA2 & Oghren & Velana from DA:A. The rest cameos
7. Cassandra (long hair/Dawn of the Seeker version) as companin/romance option
8. Mention what happened to my Warden when he went into that mirror w/ Morrigan (it's bugging the crap out of me about what happened to my guy)
<-----------My Awsome Warden, Alexander!!!!

1. Differentiated environments and unique (not recycled) dungeons.
2. More playstyle options within each class, more viable build options (e.g. Arcane Warrior)
3. Differentiated quests (i.e. SIGNIFICANTLY fewer fetch quests please)
4. In depth character and follower customization, which also means much more unique loot.
5. A cohesive narrative with some well-integrated foreshadowing, revelations, and characterization along the way.

One thing I don't care about that most others seem to is carrying over choices from the previous games.  Dragon Age was never intended to be a trilogy like Mass Effect, which was planned to be a single story told in 3 acts from the beginning.  I do like the concept of choices carrying over WITHIN the game itself, kind of like what they tried to do in DA2; that was poorly executed in my opinion, but the concept I am completely on board with.  Bioware, the best thing to do would be to pick a canon and move the story of Thedas forward in a way that makes the most sense.  People can still enjoy each game for its own intrinsic merits in terms of choice, but franchises must push forward.

1. Romancable Cullen or at least someone nearly as hawt
2. Talents effecting dialogue/story (for example use archery talents to impress someone, or put out a fire with ice/water as a mage)
3. Less general talents, more specialization. Lengthen the skill trees and cut some down.
4. Cool elf companion. They were either too broody or too annoying, too squee-worthy for my taste. Can't we just have someone normal? .(
5. Cameos, lots!

3)Aid in battling the darkspawn Boon to count and have an affect <-- reilly don't wont this one to be addressed in one/two lines like the mage one.
4)An outcome of mage king/queen at the end.
5)Another Amell protagonist (if origins are back)

1. A world that is aware of you. NPCs reacting differently depending on your class, actions or reputation, the way you decide to deal with one quest having an impact on something you do later, people not just standing obliviously by while you use blood magic in the middle of the street, things like that.
2. Some resolution of the potentially world-changing subplots from previous games, or at least some of the characters involved making an appearance (Flemeth, Morrigan and her child, sentient darkspawn...)
3. More varied environments and less of the painfully obvious map recycling
4. More realistic armor, weapons and combat. I do think DA:O weapons/armor were visually dull and the combat was lacklustre, but surely that can be improved without resorting to Anime-style huge weapons, flashy leaps across the battlefield and enemies exploding like pressurized bags of gore.
5. Dragons.

more sidequests (No fetch quest please)
character cameos
romancible kossith, aka qunari, character (Come on! Ultimate forbidden romance between mage and kossith! And they are eye candy!)
Lots of customization options
Choice of what race and background to play as (Like Origins)
More areas to explore
Better quality equipment for mages (I'm tired of getting my butt kicked -_-...)
No multiplayer (Seriously, just no... no)
Deeper character interaction (Once again, like in Origins)
Choice Effects/Repercussions
And for the love of all that is awesome... Give me back my MABARI!

But you still bought and registred Mass Effect 3 (as I can see in your profile)....which have multiplayer.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but it would be really nice if the party buffs would "reapply" themselves after a party member gets knocked out and then gets either rezzed, or the battle ends.

For example, you're a mage and you have Elemental Weapons activated.  During a fight, Fenris gets knocked out.  Being a Spirit Healer, you rez him and get him back in the fight, but his Elemental Weapons buff is now gone.  So, you have to deactivate it, and activate it again to get him re-buffed.

I understand his personal buffs being deactivated and having to re-do those, but it would be nice if other player's buffs reactivated as soon as he was back up.

Same thing with changing out party members.  I go home to stash stuff, go back out, and have to deactivate and reactivate Elemental Weapons, Heroic Aura, etc.

It would be nice if I didn't have to constantly do that.

Thanks for listening. :wizard:

1. A more open environment. I realize this isn't BioWare's forte, but DA2 seemed to be even less open to exploration than Origins was, and this issue was likely magnified by the fact we were in the same city for much of the game. I'm not promoting a complete sandbox like a TES game, but having a bit more freedom of movement would be appreciated.

2. Maintain fluid combat without the over-animation. In terms of tactile sense DA2 felt like the better game in the Dragon Age series. Animations were generally fluid and responsive and I felt as though I had better control over my characters as a result. That said, I don't think the flips and dashes that are present in DA2 are necessary to maintain that fluidity.

3. Endings. Please do your best to keep these varied if possible. I'd much rather see some resolution via a prologue screen ala Origins than have the same fight with Meredith despite my actions throughout the course of the game.

4. Customization. I believe this has already been confirmed in part, but please allow us to customize our characters and companions as much as possible. This includes not only armor and weapons but also traits, skills, and other abilities. Part of what makes RPGs enjoyable, for me, is the ability to tune the experience in varied ways.

5. Give us more game. This is relatively abstract, but please give us the most gameplay possible. I love BioWare's cinematic storytelling, but not at the expense of less gameplay. Allow my character to be involved in as much of the combat and non-combat activities as possible.

I thought of some more things i'd like to add

1. Allow yourself to speak to your companions like Orgins. Don't let me speak to them after every mission. Be more like Orgins when we could ask them anything while we walked

2. Romances, make more maybe 3-4. I love how you did Morrgian and lelina romance where they both found out about other other. Maybe add a third romance. And Please keep it R rated. Don't cover it up like have in past

3. Choices that matter- I don't want my choices to depend on "how I respond" but what I decide as a choice. Make them good enough to replay the outcome to see a very different outcome

4. Morrgian.- I'm sticking with this one. You left off in a great series but never finishing her ending. Make it a happy one. Have her come back as a compaign even stronger then before

5. Companions speaking- Allow each of Companion's like Tallis in D2 DLC to be unique. Let them speak to you about their past, and don't return to "mass effect" style where they only say some briefly new after a mission. Make it all the time.

1. Get the story straight and don't rush the ending or screw over the theme of the game at the last 15 minutes, also if you choose to become a blood mage people should react to that, it was a big fail in DA2 when people didn't since it was a major theme and all that.

2. Try not to make the main characters to stereotype like Anders (DA2 version) and Fenris their talks about mages got pretty tiring after a while. Also make sure the main villain/villains are more then just "arggg I'm crazy". Image IPB

3. Drop the over the top combat animation and the way to fast speed, people aren't Supermen keep the combat a somewhat realistic. Also we need more abilities and classes.

4. Choices should matter, but only those that affect the world, like who is the king of Orzammar, who rules Ferelden, etc.

5. Multiplayer should not affect singleplayer.

And because I felt like it, decided to make some party talk of what could happen in DA3.
Characters Finn (DLC Witch Hunt), Cullen, Cassandra Pentaghast and Tallis.

Finn: Is that a rip in my rope and blood? Oh no I'm going to die aren't I?

Cassandra: Relax Finn it's just a scratch.

Finn: Just a scratch? Do you have any idea of how different infections I can get just because of this scratch?

Cassandra: I keep forgetting what a wuss you are.

Tallis: Is your name really, Florian Phineas Horatio Aldebrant, Esquire?

Finn: Yes it is?

Tallis: Is it also true that you have been called Flora, because the couldn't pronounce your name?

Finn: Yes, what is it with all the questions?

Tallis: I just wondered if the real reason is because you wear a skirt.

Finn: This isn't a skirt it's a very expensive silk rob.

Tallis: I was talking about the skirt under the rob.

Finn: How do.......I mean I have no idea what you are talking about.

Main character: I seriously don't want to know.

Finn: *Groans*

Cullen: What are you groaning about this time, Finn?

Finn: I got mud on my rob.

Cullen: We are here to prevent the world from falling apart and you are groaning about a little mud?

Finn: Do you know how hard it is to clean mud of slik?

Cullen: And to think I once feared mages like you.

Also Don't comment on the Party talk I made unless it's one of the top 5 thing you want in DA3. Image IPB

1) Interesting companions.
2) More exploration. Cities should feel more vibrant and alive, bigger, with more locations to visit.
3) Less "filler" combat against horders of repetitive enemies - more enemy variety, less padding. Fighting the same group of monsters 10 times through the same dungeon is no fun to me.
4) Multiple quest solutions.
5) An ending with some closure! Put effort into it, not just some generic "the hero's fate is currently unknown" cliffhanger.
