1. My favorite thing is romancing other characters I like in number 2 had deeper connections then orgins. I like the partial nude scenes in orgins I am werid I know :P  but there were not that many in Dragon age 2 couldnt see Anders in undies was just terrible I was so depressed.

2. I liked equipting different armor and items on characters and seeing them in different armor I did not like dragon age 2 because you could not do this.

3. I loved orgins there was a lot of places to explore and different places to go it also took a while for me to complete it. Dragon age 2 I did not like being stuck in the city it go boring real quick and I can zoom through the game in one day.

4. I loved picking between dwarf, elf, or human and how it affected the start of the game and how others interacted with you in the game.

5. I also loved that I could load my saved data from orgins over to dragon age 2 but I was sad I wish my actions in orgins affected my game play more in dragon age orgins.

1. pretty hairstyles for females :| pleeeease, Bioware. pleeeeeeease. they don't have to be flow-y and long, either. just... pretty.
2. returning characters [Morrigan in particular]
3. cameo of past player characters ... if I saw my Hawke in DA3 I think I'd die.

that's all I want. that's it.

1. Well-written companions, including romance, conflicts and party banter (and if possibly, a bigger group to choose from, DA2 was basically me, Isabela, Bethany/Anders/Merill, Aveline/Varric).

2. The old weapon system back. I don't want to play a rogue every time just because I prefer dual weapon style and bows. (but I will do it if necessary :) )

3. Detailed monsters - I liked to fight in DA2, but I'll rather fight one big very tough guy than 25 spawning bandits.

4. And of course, returning characters is a plus, loved to see Alistair and Teagan among others in DA2 (unsure if I want to see something of Hawke and Warden, unless they're given something other then "someone stood to gain from their deaths" treatment.

5. Lastly.. I want a female thief NPC. A thief with Isabela's humor, Leliana's gentleness, and Elegant's apperance and style. Image IPB

1. Obviously: answer the questions raised in the previous games in a satisfying manner.
2. Modding support on the PC.
3. PC-specific settings, and a high resolution texture pack.
4. A taste of the world beyond the areas seen thus far in the series, including the books and comics. I'd also really like to see other groups of people having their own unique culture and religion and such.
5. A dog companion again.

Okay, I have 5 different thing to list as I’ve spent more time thinking about this.

1.) I want a castle like in Awakening... but even more in depth. Let me rule some land even and pass laws and junk, or at least settle disputes like we could in DA:O Awakening. Let us upgrade it with different stuff, like blacksmiths and merchants, or keep in plain and maybe lose it to some one else at the end… Or a ship that is sort of like that, a home base is more what I’m getting at but a castle is what I’d prefer. It puts all the squad folks in one place while still being able to let them seem like they have a life. They could have their own rooms and still move around the castle and interact, even be in other hub areas for interaction (like in ME:3).

2.) Flintlock pistols. They're just really cool and a gunslinger version of the rouge class could be fun. If we are going some place French anyway it could be a good time to add something like this. Maybe just letting an NPC have it even would be acceptable, like how Varric has the only crossbow other than enemies.

3.) All my party member/returning character wishes will be in one thing. Cassandra Penderghast (as love interest) and Varric as party members. I’d like to see Sebastian come back, as the ruler of Starkhaven for sure (maybe a party member), he didn’t have any reason to stay in Kirkwall after Anders actions even if you kill Anders he lost everything there he cared about and the champion is missing right so even if you romanced him he could still have opted to retake his lands after a time. Sketch could be a good mage party member to have, but he may fit better as a cameo. Maybe Tallis as a party member, but a cameo if nothing else, if a party member she ought to be a love intrest. Shale as possible party member but defiantly as a cameo. Flemeth as a cameo, I hope they don’t make her a party member. They’re the only ones I can think of now. I want new party members too but I think Varric would be a great option to have a returning party member (especially if there is a subplot of still looking for the champion).

4.) It’s a bit of mechanic thing, but I want to be able to have my exp carry over from complete game to a new game. I’m not asking for a true new game +, I don’t want my weapons and armor to carry over or it being restricted to the same class (let alone the same character as NG+’s are). I just think that once I beat the game I’d like my subsequent play’s to start at a higher level (maybe not the same level as my other play ended, just read my game file and if I had a play though that finished the game, give me some bonus exp, like starting at even level 5 over level 1 would be good, but I wouldn‘t be apposed to starting at level 10 even.). I play the game way more than once, and on my later plays I hate having to start at level one. I know how the classes work, it doesn’t help me “learn about he class” even if I hadn’t played a warrior (for example) I still had like three warriors in the party, I know how I’d like to level my warrior up.

5.) I want more difference in the story. If (for example) I side with the Mages I shouldn’t have to kill all of them and the Templar too at the end, that’s silly. And vice-versa. If I support the Templar then my game should be noticeable different from when I support the mages (if this is the conflict we have). And the specialties should matter. If I am a blood mage then how could I hope to really support the Templar, or if I pick up the Templar specialty then why would I have the chance to join the mages. Make things like that only be achievable after joining one side or the other, don’t have it be just a state boost, make it matter.

That’s it, I‘ve put a lot of thought into this and I feel it’s comprehensive; not just for my wants but I think some of this is stuff others want. If Bioware can do any of this then I’d be super happy.

DL:DR, then I'm sorry. I can rant, lol

1. First of all, I agree with a lot of comments here that mentioned there should be more variety of races, backgrounds and other aspects which we can customize. I usually spend a long time creating my characters before the start of an RPG, I truly enjoy this and even though the presets in DAII were really good, I think there should be more to choose from, more hair varieties, eye forms and other things. Besides for some reason I did not like the elven characters in DAII, it might have been due to those weird noses they had, they looked flat.

2. A bigger world but not like Skyrim, Bethesda did a good job but thatis their style, Bioware has to infuse games with their unique vision of an RPG, just as Mass Effect was epic, I think so can DA. So a bigger map, which most likely will occur, and also make them look different please. It is kind of frustrating to run over and over through the same dungeons.

3. Definitely returning characters from the previous installments. Leliana, Sten, Isabella, Fenris, the more the better. And if it is possible also my warden which I really like.

4. Decisions that matter had been mentioned by most people here, and even though it is redundant I have to agree. I do not think my decisions in the first game impact the outcomes in the second. I would like to see how killing or expelling one of your companions from your group would affect their future roles in Inquisition or later installments.

5. I also agree with other gamers that think the dialog wheel or whatever is kind of absurd. The icons above everything that delimitate our choices to only three very obvious lines. We should at least be given more options and no icons to distinguish from one another. Also give us more insight into the dragon age world, more about the history of some people/races/places like the avvar, the deep roads and other places mentioned in both games that now I am curious about. Got more requests but I guess supporting others will do for now.

Well...
1) Pleeease no more re-using locations! As much as I like DA II, I think this is really annoying.
2) New hair styles. Well, I'd really like to see beautiful long hairstyles for both male and female characters. Actually, I like Ashley's and Miranda's hairstyles in ME3, when their long hair are not "moving" with their heads like a wig but "connected" with shoulders.
3) More interaction with companions! I really like the DA:O style - I can go to the camp and talk to anyone I want, but still I like some DA II things, like more personal quests and that thing, when they have their own houses.
4) Romances. I'd like to see more options than in DA:O and DA II. I mean I'd like to see more different types of characters as a LI's.
5) I know, it's already discussed many many times, but still I'd like to see mo consequences for my actions. It'd be awesome B)

And, well, of course, I'd like to see characters from the first two games ;)

1. A return to the atmosphere and great design and beautiful built world of Dragon Age: Origins
2. A more in-depth dialogue system similar to the one in Origins.
3. More character options, such as the ability to choose your race and history.
4. An epic story, that's in-depth and throws curve balls at me. I want something new, not just the typical "bioware story" that I've played through six times already.
5. No multiplayer mode unless it's the type that was seen in Baldur's Gate (have other players make up your in-game party and play through the game together), or similar to Neverwinter Nights (be able to create your own areas and explore them with your friends, or play through the game multiplayer). The second I would love to see. I don't want to seem anything resembling "traditional" multiplayer, however.

Hmm, I thought about some other technical issues that could use addressing.

1. Easy exit points. I do not want to have a winding cavern or alleyway to be the location of an exit. Having to run down an empty alley is not adding game time, it is just unpleasant grinding.

2. D.A. characters CAN jump. Yes, if we can see the section of path below us (as in Origins in the woods) let us jump down to it. Please. I will appreciate the short cut.

3. Again, if you do the save/load on a wheel, put them at opposite sides so you can't easily have the controller slip and load instead of save.

4. Seeing how varied the LI bisexual vs fixed sexuality debate is going, perhaps have that as a specific play option in the beginning like you have had with the game imports? You may be able to please everyone after all.  Likewise the modesty level so you can have "the fires burned low" with clothes present or "underwear or less" as settings.  Then your players can have their cake and eat it too.

5. Horses and/or griffins for faster travel across areas you have visited before or when opening up new areas. (Final Fantasy III was great for making you feel like you had freedom but you could only travel to certain areas on foot, then it opened up more when you got a mount, then it REALLY opened up when you got an airship. It was a fairly linear game but did a good job of tricking you into feeling it was otherwise.)

6. Better trigger points for conversations.  I had a difficult time backing out of an exit point to catch the banter or would have a spawning of enemies drown it out.  A lot of the conversations in DA2 did not repeat so this was very frustrating since the banter was sparse.  Don't drown out the bits, 'kay?

1. Greater Immersion
2. Unique locations
3. Fun characters to interact with
4. No awesome button
5. Not a "save the world" plot.

I think it is safe to assume that requests 1,2,4 and 5 will not be fulfilled. There's more that I'd like to add. Such as no multiplayer, but Frank Gibeau already made sure it's shoved down my throat.

Unless it's like Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate MP. Create your own party and play with friends. That could be nice.

^ If they ever make a DA where you create your own party, complete with voicesets and a number of personalities to choose from, I'd be in heaven. "The fighter, the thief and the mage" and you create them from the get-go.

1. Keep the interactive melee. By that I mean I prefer mashing the A button over Origin's auto-hit, especially the Mage! Althought I agree, the idea of combos is one that appeals.

2. More cities á la Origins! Kirkwall got very boring very quickly.

3. Face codes, Character creation. I'll readily admit I'm quite shallow, and won't start the game until I have a character that doesn't look like s/he's had botched cosmetic surgery. And more short hair styles for Men. I'm not a huge fan of plats and braids. The companions always looked great, it would be nice if we could get our character to that standard. Alternatively, face codes would allow me to use that of someone infinitely more talented/patient than me.

4. More story missions, but not as long as Origins. Orzammar bored my ****** off, and I never went back once I left.

5. Companions to be more complex than in DA2. They all seemed to sit at complete opposite ends of opinions, which made them predictable. The neurosis of Anders, Fenris and Carver was frustrating, I felt like I was dealing with teenage girls. One of them throwing a ****-fit every time I didn't agree with them made me want to impale them, especially Carver, more emotional stability!

1) a voiced Player Character again (i liked it)
2) much more in depth romance
3) option to equip your PC like in origins
4) a much more detailed plot and ending, emphasis on closure. If you guys are going to discontinue the storyline every time before making the next installment (i.e. the warden in origins, hawke in DA2...), don't leave such a cliffhanger. I personally would like closure before being forced to say goodbye to my PC
5) more hours of play time. More detail. More things to do. More involvement with my companions/romantic interest. Excuse the redundancy but I think you get the point.

1. Continue/Update or finish stories with loose ends - Morrigan, Flemeth, Leliana, King or Drunk Alister
2. More LI options without orientation limitations...free love baby
3. New Worlds, enemies, scenery (please no more same building/different furniture)
4. Evolving story (show aging and changes - in dA2 Fenris never knocked a cob-web off his mantion in 3 acts...)
5. Return race choices (dwarf, elf, human, etc.)

I did post previously but, I very important thing got unsaid...
I need an RPG that can be played off-line such as DA 1 & 2 - sometimes the internet is down or just plain lousy...
so if indeed the game goes MMO and online only - sadly I will not be able to play :(
so if you go multi=player please, do not let it affect single players in any way...
thanks,
Z

 1. I want to keep the classic classes, but add in some new ones.

 2. If you're going to have the mages only have robes, make some different types/different cuts. Examples:

Image IPBImage IPBImage IPBImage IPB

3. Give a mage more than one wepon variety
4. Let us play with the colors of our armor (special armors could have low color changability, i'm ok with that)
5. Have rings, and necklaces show up on characters (belts would be too tricky)

My 5 cents :D

1: Trading
The addition of goods for trade, a "living" economy. For example: Town A lacks ironore, Town B has ironore mines. This means Town A will pay hansomely for ironore and Town B sells it dirt cheap, which means you will gain a nice profit from selling ironore to Town A.
This can be applied to any goods from the dragonage universe.Trading happens automaticly via preset traderoutes. Traderoutes should be visible on the world map and be color coded, red means that almost no trade is getting trough because the route is too dangerous, yellow when there are some trade getting trough, and finally green when the traderoute is safe.
The status of the tradingroutes can be affected by player involment, like if you attack and loot all of the tradingcaravans the traderoute will after a while get a red status,  a green status if you choose to protect them. Also the moral system should be worked in, if you loot all of the trade going on between the two connecting towns they will start to dislike you and might even refuse to sell you things. On the other hand if you choose to protect those tradingcaravans they will start to like you more and you might get bonus stuff, that otherwise isn't for sale. If a traderoute between two towns are red and no trade are getting through, prices on some goods are marked up, these marked up goods should be different from town to town, depening on what natural resources etc. that is around all of the different towns. And finally add the possibility of becoming a trader yourself, this should require a license from the towns you want to trade in. Licenses can only be obtained through quests.

2. Real estate:
-Buy and sell houses in each town.
-Customisation of the player houses.
-Rent out houses

3. Exstensive mod support

4. Isometric camera angle for pc

5. More towns and cities

#1~ Get what we were promised with Sebastian.  Was promised more story on him and bad enough we got jipped with the romance ending when Varric never even mentioned it.  Bunch of hooey.
#2~ No static armor even for companions.  I change their clothes, I want to see it.
#3~Keep the bi romances in, heck through in straight GLBT ones if you want.  Forget the naysayers.  It's so so sad really, something that is completely optional people get bent over.
#4~Lots of conversation, like DA:O.  Was very disappointed at how little I had in DA2.  Sometimes I like to sit and BS with my mates.
#5~  DONT CUT CORNERS   I'm running through ME again on my 360 and I am dreading ME3 because of all the corner cutting that has been done since EA took over.  Don't cut corners.  Take the time and finish the project.

1. Just go ahead and make Sebastian a real character, full romance, full story, everything. And if you have a DLC character give them that too.
2. Have a castle/house/home base/bat cave
3. In said home base, I would like to customize it
4. Every companion have their own room in your home base, decorated to match their personality
5. Have items from almost every quest decorate your home base. Kinda like in Awakening in the keep.
