Sorry mine is mostly on Romance since its my favorite part in RPG's. Forever Alone :').
1. Better Romance scenes. I think the witcher 2 set the bar on those and I feel those kinds of mature scenes would really be cool to see in Dragon Age.

2.As far as romance options in dialogue goes I like how DA:O handled flirting better. In Dragon Age 2 it just felt like pick the heart option and they fall for you no matter what. In DA:O it felt like I had to actually learn about the character and say the right things to have a chance. And sex should not be the High point or end of the relationship. We should really be able to establish a bond with our LI beyond that.

3.I would like to see a mix of how Dragon Age 2 and DA:O handled how companions interacted with the PC. I definitely liked in Dragon Age 2 how companions would seek you out and request to talk to you because it made them seem more realistic. I don't want to have to initiate every single little conversation and I thought that a character expressing feelings for the PC w/o me having to have to flirt first was a great idea. Maybe they could even cheat in the next game or try to make you jealous to spice things up :P. However, I would like to converse with them when I want to as well.

4.Characters developing relationships with eachother. Like in Mass effect 3 when you catch Tali and Garrus having a moment whether it was only friendship or more.

5. More realistic combat. Weapons that clash and more realistic pacing. It can still have style but please, no more exploding bodies every two seconds , unless I throw an exploding super nova fire ball at them.

Keep up the great work (:!!! and Thanks! (:

1. The Warden and Hawke making cameos in which they are portrayed as being completely awesome (which they are).

2. More information on The Black City in the Fade and what the Tevinter Mages found when they went there. That event is in many ways the lynchpin of the whole Dragon Age universe, but we still don't know much about it.

3. More companion interaction. I can't get enough of it.

4 .Choices affect outcomes. At the end of the game, I'd like to be able to look back and say my character made a difference.

I really agree!

1. I think a great and immersive storyline WITH loads of different beginnings and endings as in origins.(Must have one fairy tale happy ever after ending, I love those)
2. Able to converse anywhere and everywhere with companion charaters as in origins
3. Great cosmetic features like customisable companion armours, armour sets, toolkit, mirror of transformation, many beautiful and varied armour choices, armour dyes etc. Details in armours like buttons, lace, pretty edges, romantic outfits, slimming heavy armours especially for dwarves.
4. Animal companion again
5. Really interesting areas to explre and wonderful charaters to meet.
6. Lots of love and romance and friendship options.
7. Just saw the person above who wrote crafting and salvaging! Yes Please!!!
Oh gosh Im so SOOOO excited!! Image IPBImage IPBImage IPB

I like your character's hair btw... (Sorry for the tangent)

Gosh thank you ledod! That's a hairmod from DAO. It only works well with very light coloured hair as you can see the scalp from certain angles if you use dark shades! But very pretty I think!

More from me..

Please longer and more hair styles for DA3 and would it be possible for long hair to move as you run? Immersion levels rise when hair moves, skirts sway and leaves rustle.

4- Dynamic weather system( changes depending on seasons, time of day, random, story, etc)
5- playing as main character (like Hawke) or creating a new character with different races.
6- no images on dialogue wheel
7- Keep the combat system from DA2.

- A well thought-out soundtrack
- Bare-fist fighting
- Epic weapons
- Alistair does the laundry

1- more insight into sandal and flemeth
2 - choice of races
3 - better character customization, maybe a little bit of companion customization as well
4 - choices that actually make a difference to the storyline
5 - return of previous companions, my preferences would be morrigan, shale, oghren, varric and possibly fenris.

that's not asking too much is it lol

For me it has to be:

1. Returning characters, particularly Leliana and Morrigan

2. Improved combat tactics mechanics, better be closer to DA2 than DA:O

3. A Multi-player mode that allows me to choose what my human character's face look like (I mean, really, wearing helmet is stupid)

4. Choices that matter - let me see what my Templar/Mage alignment have made impact on the entire Thedas

5. NON-CRUCIBLE kind of ending: I won't Synthesize again....

I'm not going to go over 55 pages, so I'll just repeat things that may have already been said fifty times:

1. Choosing race. I missed that dearly in DA2.

2. Being able to spin around and talk to your characters/engage in more one on one dialogue and potential romance building like you could in DA:O. Because I want to take the characterisation in my own hands, and not just talk to them hoping for something substantial every blue moon.

3. Cameos of DA:O Warden and DA2 Champion would be AWESOME, but probably one hell of a giant headache (and maybe impossible with DA3's new engine?)... So probably just people directly mentioning/talking about them. Would be nice if it was relevant to the way we played the other games.

4. Expound on characters who seemed like there would be more to: Flemeth, Morrigan, Sandal, Varric, Anders...

5. More customisation options.

1: different kinds of wepons. I am starting getting sicked, tired and bored with the 3 classic wepons, sword, axe and hammers. I mean, where is the spear? Or my personal wepon of choice, the helbard? What about whips, flails or even fist fight? Atleast neverwinther nights (and D&D ) made it so, a sword isnt just a sword, there is BIG difference from using a shortsword and a longsword (i've tried both and i could feel the difference)

2: i wish that could have a LI that is NOT a companion. Maybe a farmer girl, a damsel is distress or a greedy merchant. I want to fear for the lives of the one i care about, i wanna hear/see if they are strong enough to go on with there lives while dead worry about if i came back.

3: i really liked what you did DA:O with the origins and what you did with ME about the backgrounds, more of that please.

4: despite Dragon age is middle age with knights in shinning armors.... Where is the knight riding on his horse?

5: return of the magic combos from DA:O

A cult/person who worship a Mabari/ think that the Mabari is the maker incarnated.:P

A "renegade" general who mentors the protagonist in ways of battle/war/tactics.

A cunning political manipulate character. (The protagonist please!) <3

More Anora  (and Loghain if he is alive)

1 Disciplined army/group.

Concerning fights:

1. Tactical overview
2. Friendly Fire
3. An option to turn of all companion AI including AA
4. Spikes in difficulty are okay. Sometimes there should be extremely challenging boss fights. There's no need to try and make every little skirmish challenging.
5. Tactical flexibiliy that allows me to play on harder difficulties without having to have a tank with sword and shield and a mage constantly healing him

These three I definately agree with!

A lot of people are worried about returning characters.  I'm not sure for me ... I mean, if they do return they better have a good, written story and believeable where they've been.  Dang it.

And since so many are calling for Cullen (*I second that!)  I'd like Sebastian back with no chasity plz!

Apparently bioware is creating at least one more Dragon Age 2 DLC to include Morrigan, Flemeth, and Leliana, I saw people interested in those characters, so just mentioning that right away.

And to Zu Long, apparently Bioware has said that the Warden's story is done, s/he wont be returning, though I imagine that his/her choices will affect the world in future games to come, we just wont see them.  I also read that bioware said that Dragon Age 2 was not the end of Hawke's story, so s/he may appear in Dragon Age 3 or in DA3 DLC, or maybe they are making a sequel game for hawke, like awakening, though I doubt that.  I'm guessing Hawke will make an appearance in DA 3.

That DLC would be nice, however, I believe they canceled any other Dragon Age 2 DLC. Please correct me if I am wrong.

My wishlist:

1. Moddability. A creation kit would be absolutely outstanding.
2. Companion conversations where and when I want, not just when my quest progression triggers a flag that says
I can have a pre-scripted quest to go talk to them, then not have any options to ask anything more. DA:O did this so much better than DA:2.
3. Make me *care* - about my companions and their personal quests, the roads we travel, the places we go and things we do. Make it hard for me to choose which of my companions to take with me because they're all so awesome, and make my choices matter so I actually have a dilemma which to choose. When/if someone dies, it will rip my guts out :P
4. Sandal. Must have Sandal!
5. Base camp or some other place where armor can be tweaked, items stored and sold and purchased, conversations had, songs sung/marshmallows burnt around the campfire or fireplace.. you get the idea.

Someone previously mentioned the ability to make our own healing poultices, etc., such as in DA:O and I second that.

1. Morrigan and Flemeth take an intrical role in the game, not just cameos, or mentions.

2. Enemies that can only fall from the sky if they have wings or were dropped from a beast that had wings.

3. If the wheel of fortune dialogue wheel is really here to stay. *shudders* Please don't let it over simplify my interactions with my companions. At least let me delude myself into being uncertain about what I'm choosing. Those heart options killed me. Real people don't have light up buttons that say how they will interpret something I say.

4. When I pull a suit of armour off a dead guy I just killed, I want to be able to give it to one of my companions and tell them to wear it (like my leadership role gives me authority to do), not just carry it around with the other dozen duplicate suits I have until I manage to find some merchant to unload superman's closet onto.

5. Give the items interesting pictures again. I spend 50% of my game (especially in subsequent playthroughs) looking through my inventory, codexes, etc. The item descrptions in origins weren't massive, a couple of sentences usually, but it added so much. And having different images for different helmets was just wonderful. It might seem like a small thing, but it made a big difference for me.

I see a lot or posts want to see many different characters reappear. I hope whatever characters are picked are pertinent to the storyline, not just cameos that have the opportunity to completely null and void choices my Warden made in DA:O, or Hawke made in DA2. Morrigan and Flemeth are great to bring back because everyone's game ended the same (well except for that WH ending, but even that you don't actually know what happens to her). It's open ended and so I would love to see her storyline continue. But for the rest of them, I'd rather just see new characters.

In DA3 I would like to see the growth and development of the children you impact during your travels. I always wonder what happened to the boy in Lothering whose mother was murdered. Or the brother and sister in Redcliffe whose parents were killed. It would be nice to have the option to not just send them to the Chantry, but to be their "sponsor", i.e. send them money or gifts while they are at the Chantry, or even take them on as an apprentice to live in your own household. But they should say more meaningful things if you decide to keep them around!

1) Fully developed dialogue options:
I liked how in DA2 they introduced options outside the normal good/evil/neutral selections.  For example, the "charming" or "aggressive" dialogue choices.  Seems to me they were very under-utilized in DA2.  I'd like to see this extrapolated and have more meaningful repercussions.

2) Character and story depth:
Bioware already excels at this.  Would love to see them take it even further.  For too long, videogames have focused mostly on gameplay at the expense of story and character development.  Bioware is breaking the mould.

3) Return of wave combat:
I very much liked the wave mechanic in DA2's combat.  It gave the impression of being overwhelmed while still allowing you to survive.  Barely.

4) Speaking of combat, a return to DA:O's passive combat:
I would rather atleast have the option to fight in a tactical position, like in DA:O, where you issue commands to your party members and sit back, every now and then tweaking your plan of attack and utilizing various skills.  I don't like having to actively spam a button to attack with my active player...I can get that in other games.

5) More care in developing the world:
Less repeated environments (none would be preferred) and more loot better placed.  I just played FO3 and FA:NV, and much preferred the former.  Why?  Because it felt like more care was taken.

I haven't gone through the entire thread, so if I bring up already mentioned suggestions, consider it another "vote" for or against an idea.

1. NO MULTIPLAYER. Bioware games outshine other games because the single-player content is top-notch. A single penny spent on multiplayer is a penny not spent developing quests, dialogue, level design and so on. If you want multiplayer fantasy, MMOs are ----> that way.

2. A story that looks forward more than backward. This is contrary to fans who want the Warden, Hawke and many supporting characters brought back. I love many of those characters, but DA2 and ME3 showed me the limits of scripting around prolonged player agency. Rather than every character getting a 20-second cutscene, I'd rather a few major characters (Alistair/Loghain, Morrigan, etc.) offered extended, meaningful interaction. This way you look back when it's crucial, but you spend most of your time developing new ideas and new characters. Thedas will be better off if all of it is made interesting, rather than new ground springing us back into old haunts.

3. Quality over quantity of companions, coupled with wide customization. We needed multiple warriors, rogues and mages in DA2 party pools because they had limited customization -- Fenris was more DPS than tank, Merrill more nuker than support, Isabela could not fight at range, etc. I would rather have fewer, more versatile companions. Just as importantly, fewer companions allow more extensive interactions, meaning the characters can have more ways to grow (or fall from grace) during playthroughs. This greatly helps romances, which should feel dynamic, gradual, unpredictable and even challenging.

4. Surprising, inventive fights that preserve tactical gameplay. DAO had enemies use the environment against you more than DA2. Bad guys don't need waves of cannon fodder or WoW-esque phases if they're well-fortified and behave intelligently. I'd also ask you bring back stealth for scouting. I loved taking the time to get the jump on enemies.

5. A main character who falls between messiah and puppet in terms of significance. The Warden got to save everyone, while Hawke was in predestined Kirkwall Hell. I kinda like that DA2 'broke' the world; I don't want it fixed too soon. It would feel cheap if it were put back together by one person in one game, but the player would feel cheated if s/he couldn't glue at least a few pieces back together. Whether they were glued back in the right shape could be a subject for DA4.

Also, I have no special knowledge about DA3, but I offer this advice with absolute confidence. It needs more cowbell!!!

that would be awesome, even more so, as children/people you save/people who depend on you have a certain defference to you (normally) and you could mould them in your image (personality wise) and maybe even train them - either like you have trained or to send them to a companion to learn their "trade" (it would be a good way to make up for class imbalances if your PC is a certain class and you lack in another for example!)

pps: having an "apprentice" would just be nice (eve more if you could send him/her on "solo" missions (or with some of your companions, while you take the others for your "main" mission) that have a) influence on the story and B) avoid the unrealistic standind around twiddling their thumbs of companions you do not take along and c) would give us better story-telling as these missions could run "simultaniously" (we play them one after the other though) so we see a situation from more points of view for example or in way are in more places then one at the same time (story wise, not playing wise), we could influence different happenings at the same time and even develop the personality of another character that operates semi-independent of the PC (and the PC must live with the decisios we - as the apprentice - make :)...that might make for interesting conversations, too!

note: not all of the "appretice"-missions need to be playable (but the option to do so would be nice)

greetings LAX
ps: reading on and commeting =]
pps: arg...keyboard in this PC-Room has "N"-Problems (need to hit it really hard for the PC to take the keystroke)

1. Fantastic story.

2. Many well thought through story/conversation choices so that you really get the chance to roleplay a distinct and personally shaped character personality.

3. Sidequests that affects timeline, outcome etc of the main story. So that sidequests feel natural to do and not like a strange deviation of the characters priority storywise.

4. That the design of things and environment has a "real feel" to it. No more oversized, over the top designed weapons: function should govern form. Just take a look at LOTR movies, things look real, not even the "legendary" weapons look big and over designed, they just look neat, functional, elegant. Also environsments could be more impressive, detailed and have a wow feel. That was achieved pretty well with Kirkwall for example, but could be even more.

5. Great voiceacting.

Thanks!
