1. better storyline
2. loads of character interation & in depth character developing
3. an improve tactics mechanics & tactical camera
4. a kossith female and/or male as companion and maybe LI (why not??)
5. more story that reveals much about DA universe (like the maker, blight, etc.)
6. cliffhanger ending is fine as long as theres a DA IV that tells the story & have the setting of other Thedas Nation/Island (Rivain,Tevinter,South of Ferelden,Par Vollen&Seheron,Anderfels, etc.)
edit:
7. pretty much like what bluemoonseraphim wrote
8. a fully voiced player character & no unnamed character (just call their lastname like hawke, cousland, aeducan, etc.)

Will we still have a sarcastic personality and/options for the dialogue wheel? Snarky Hawke was one of my favorite things about DA2.

1)i want to be able to sacrifice the party members i don't like.....fenris
2)longer game with more missions (not like in DA:O where there was lots of hours of play, but few missions)
3)better character customization (choose your origin)
4)i want the decisions you make during DAO and DA2 to effect DA3 in a big way
5) I want interesting characters that have more background than "i lost my boat and I'm stuck in kirkwall but i have a big chest" . i want my companions to have emotion inducing background-storys.

My DA3 wishlist:

1. I want an epic story which I can feel I'm actually part of. I want that feeling I had when I killed the Archdemon. I want that feeling I had at my mage warden's funeral. I want that feeling that I felt when my rogue warden married Alistair. I want that feeling that I felt when Alistair ran off because I made a certain someone a Warden. I want the variety of endings that you could get through multiple times playing the game. This is really what I missed most in DA2. No matter which side you chose or what class you played in DA2, you basically got the same story and basically the same ending.

2. Nice fight mechanics. I hate to bring in another company's game, but in Skyrim I really enjoyed how you used the mouse to hit, shield smashed, etc. No clicky on icons, etc. I know that this is not really feasible when controlling a party, but if the party members get a decent AI, it might be possible. If not, maybe some twiks to the DA2 fight mechanics. This is the one of the few places that DA2 was better than DA:O.

3. No multi-player. If I want to play multi-player, I'll get onto WoW or GW2. I want an epic RPG which I can solo play. I deal with real people enough in real life, don't want em in my fantasy world.

4. For the love of the Maker, put some color into the game. Enough with the all brown or all grey environments.

5. Nice DLCs at least a month or so after the game is released.  No day 1 DLC's unless they are free. No need to be greedy.  On the topic of DLCs, fewer 'add gear look only' DLCs and more 'adding to story' DLCs.

1.  More armor customization (looks)
2. I'd like to see Gray Wardens. (Like hero from Origins rebuild the order or something)
3. Morrigan, really curious to what happened to her
4. DEATH SPAWN!!! Or even a death spawn follower....could be interesting. Really enjoyed the expansion witht he Architect and the talking death spawn.
5. A more open world. With Origins i felt i could go anywhere and you had ambushes and stuff. One of the reasons why i enjoyed Origins WAY more than DA2 since most was in the city and years just flew by. Ofcourse besides the city there wasnt alot to go to...but still. For me DragonAge is Gray Wardens and Death Spawn, we didnt really have any of those in part 2. I enjoyed Hawke, game was fun but Origins was more epic i think...

1 A good story.
2 Interesting companions
3 great romances (Bi or Gay storylines too please.)
4 Good dialogue/party banter
5 A bit lighter story? Or maybe more humor in some parts? DA2, while I loved it, it always made me sad.

1. Different Consequences for different choices (no pulling an Orsino).
2. The ability to talk to companions anywhere, not just at a base.
3. Since we have to be human, at least one background with an elven parent.
4. More Mage NPCs that aren't abominations, blood mages, or slavers.
5. Bring back the Dual Wielding Warriors and Arcane Warriors.

1. Co-op mode ( 4 players will be great plus dialogue sys like in SWtor )
2. deep character customization coz in every Bioware game the greatest challenge is not a final-BOSS in the game, the greatest challenge is...create a normal character not a *creeper* :P
3. choices that really matters and have real-effect not only on the DA3 story but also on gameplay like in Deus EX HR - choces like beat quest with lethal or non lethal ways, stealth or action.
4. normal open world RPG game ( not just small map with a few areas to visite like in DA2 ) well not like SKYRIM but something like that will be good.
5. of course good story ( i hope there will be no need in extended cut for this game )
PS:as i can see im not the only one who dont like the idea about dialogue circle in DA-games,i think list of dialogue-choices was better( old school gameplay ) i hope they will add this as somekind of option in game.

This made me happy. blog.bioware.com/2012/04/10/bioware-and-dragon-age-at-pax-east/ Thank you for that information, the questions answered, for your time and consideration! Posted Image

Top 5 Things I Would Like to See in Dragon Age III: Inquisition
1.) Story, story, story,... David Gaider, you cannot give me enough of this story. Please don't let it get choppy or short-cut any of it, if possible.
2.) Romance and friendship cannot get detailed enough in conversation, and even little intimacies like hand-holding for me.
3.) Finish all of the cliffhangers from all previous characters as much as possible, please. I want to know!
4.) I was so thrilled to hear that my Warden might make an appearance. That makes me happy. I hold out hope that the imports get a chance at finishing their cliffhangers as well, (especially with Alistair, for me personally, as I'm still emotionally linked to him, thanks to Mr. Gaider's writing -- tragic or not, it's memorable).
5.) While I felt rushed with Hawke, and this caused me to attach so much less to the Champion, which caused me to attach less to the DA II characters, as we lept through time and it all felt detached, and of course the rail-roaded ending, which all of you at Bioware have acknowledged, and agreed to change -- THANK YOU -- I still care about those characters, and want to know what happened (Fenris especially, for me). I did get SICK to DEATH of having every mage go bloodmage, and then fighting yet another demon ... so I beg you not to make me feel rushed or short-cutted if possible, when I know from Origins that you can do EPICally better.

Thank you again! Great job! Posted Image

Lets see .... my top 5 Things I would like to see in DA3 :? ....

1) My Warden .... :wizard: I wouldn't even mind having like an intermission or something were I had to redesign my Warden I mean its been over a decade, people look different so allowing us to say what they look like now could fix any issues with have to port over our original character creations in concordance with DA3 art style. Just seems like an easy fix to me :bandit:.

2) Choices that mean something <_<. i.e. The end for DA2 was the same, only change which romance option left with you and if Mages or Templars liked you. In DAO, your ending had a full freaking epilogue with all kinds of crap! Who became king, who got married who returned or left from were what faction that survived did what? I would like to that come back. Consequences, and not just in the ending but, at least a great deal of fruition in the end and not just a 2 min cut scene speaking in riddles as if it were Soul Reaver Legacy of Kain 2. That crap just upsets people. At least me any ways.

3) More Sandal. I love Sandal hes to cute .

4) Less french crap. I HATE the stupid accents that the Orlesians have. It makes my head hurt. For Liliana it was cute, after the Mark of the Assassin DLC I wanted to shoot everyone in the castle :pinched:.

5) And Finally, I want to see my Warden again :o!!!

I would like to see more of the Grey-Warden story like in the first two books, No Felicia Day, choices that matter, a lot more customization than DA2, and may be a Borderlands 2 easter eggs :P

Shale. - And by that I mean the creative, unique humour and interesting, sophisiticated, yet absurd companions.

Sten. - And by that I mean... well, Sten. Far the best character in the franchise (if you took the time to carry him around, you know what I mean, he wasn't the most talkative charcter in the camp)

Actual tinkering with squadmates armor and weaponry. Customization options for them.

Grey Wardens. And the way they do combat. Tactical thinking. Planning. Rewarding execution. And not a button-smashing fest, that was quite unpleasant and repetitive. I didn't see a challange, I saw a new mouse and keyboard to replace the... expired one.

And the most important thing:
Exploration.
If someone comes up with the idea of the game taking place at the same place (without the same place actually changing remarkably), step on his toes please. Wearing concrete boot.
Things to read. Armors, weapons, hidden lore and conversations and side quests to find. Exploration of the characters following you. Exploration of your own character (meaning we don't play just another human, but maybe an elf, a dwarf, a qunari, I love to actually customize my character in a friggin RPG)

My Top 5:

- Armor customization for companions, not just one design for them, or different skins like in ME2 and 3
- Big world, DA2 re-use of dungeons was a mistake
- More variety of classes for the companions (to much rogues in DA2)
- Darkspawns and Archdemon
- I know this is not going to happen, but please, be mod friendly again

Can we please have female dwarves appear, DA2 was just... awkward.
Or, wait! The dwarven race isn't all male now is it?!!!

1. improoved, awesome and instant combat and action
2. differentiated consequences with greater outcome --> rice or fall to power
3. individualizasion of the story, so you might be able to create fx. the backstory of you charater.
4. revisit of older character's (hero of ferelden, and Hawke)
5. It would be nice if some part of the game you could control small armies, while being on the battlefield with your party

Looking forward to Dragon Age 3! Posted Image

It was so frustrating in DA2 that I tried so hard to support the Templars throughout the game and in the end I Inspired the rebellion. It really felt that the endings were unchanged and had no effect. There could be a rebellion anyway, but why did my super pro templar mage have to inspire it?

I hope you can keep both sides as gray as you did in DA2. I am pro Templar, and I would like to play that out without being labeled as a bag guy. To be able to be a mage and pro templar would be great as well, and without that choice it would feel a bit hallow. My imports didn't go in very well in DA2 so if we could have a import choice where we pick what our characters did in previous games would be marvelous.

Perhaps 1 major quest for each companion instead of lots of little ones, maybe one each for rivalry or Friendship. I loved how the characters would talk and visit each other and have relationships between them.
I would prefer if all that made a character up wouldn't be one thing, a caricature. Anders was obsessed with destroying the Chantry and it is wonderful that a character has goals outside you, but it should be more than just one thing. For example: Oghren was a drunk, but also a disgraced fighter, a flirt, a cuckolded husband. He wasn't even my favorite character but even in his drunken ramblings and being too stereotypical for a dwarf, he was not one thing like Anders and a little like Fenris were. I want anti mages and pro mages where they have thoughts and worries outside that political belief.

a mage being a templar helper?

sorry, but that in itself is really really bad (you roleplay a chantry appologist i take it and ignore that your brethren are raped, murdered and made tranquil for little or no crimes at all?)

sorry, i had to write this, it is just illogical that a mage would betray his people like that!

greetings LAX

How I like to play is immaterial, there are better places to argue whether how I play is right or wrong. Personally, her story was that the chantry was right, and when Kirkwall got overrun with magic she considered evil, and the fact her mother was killed by blood magic, and the fact she greatly believed in the chant, The fact that Carver became a Templar, AND they got on friendship status, which is hard.

She thought of her family as "her people" and I wished so often to say some cool quote that said Mages are not my people, Kirkwall is my people and you are endangering them, or some such thing. Anyway, it is a roleplaying game and I like playing conflicted characters, no right/wrong way to play.

Character Creator that lets us do silly things, much like the Saints Row games.

If I want the female voice on a male character, or the male voice a female, let me do it. If I want to adjust the size of my dudes package or the size of my ladys boobs, let me do it. If I want to change the size of my arse, let me do it. If I want to put big clown ears or a pinocchio nose on my character, let me do it. If I want to make my character have fluoro pink skin tone, let me do it.
