1. More party banter
2. Bring back the camp site from DA 1 or something similar to that degree
3. I like how DA 2 spans over a number of years. I'd love to see that return, but show the effects of the choices that you've made.
4. No more repeated environments like in DA 2
5. No multiplayer!
Top 5 things you would like to see in DA3 Inquisition ?

1. Give the PC enough dialogue for someone to roleplay a reasonably large variety of characters.
2. More varied environments.
3. The ability to be a self righteous bastard who burns mages, nonhumans, and heretics at the stake left and right as a shining example of a Lawful Evil Character.
4. Let us equip our party members again.
5. Please don't try to make combat animations so "AWESOME" again. What we got was bloody embarrassing.

Less magical objects. By the end of DA2 I accumulated insane amounts of objects I never gave any use simply because they were copies and more copies with different stats of the same generic thing.
Magical objects should have more personality.

I hope to see more options for customization of characters. DA2 really dropped the ball on this one, after DA showed raised the bar. I would also like to see some specializations that mix mage and warrior, a specialization for each. I really want to see my warrior able to dual wield again. I would also love to see mage staves act more like polearms in melee combat. And I hope they keep the more realistic great sword mechanics from DA2.
I've heard that Bioware is going to change the combat system. While I wouldn't mind some tweaks like they made between ME2 and ME3, I hope that they don't break what's not broken.
I also hear that they're going to go with an open world, like that seen in the Elder Scrolls game. I hope that's not so, since I never liked that aspect of those games. A bit more open world would be great, but don't make me trek across Thedas to get to where I'm going.
Would also like to see both Hawke and the Warden's stories and decisions play a major role, though from what I hear they're just going to define the political landscape.

- Choice!
- Characters with lots of interaction
- Narrative Cohesion, a strong narrative flow without any disjointed plot points.
- Visceral Combat
- Varied locales.

I agree. I liked the combat itself but disliked the waves of enemies and limited maps. I say build on the current customization system, get DAO sized maps and enemies
The one thing Iwould change is to try and get rid of the "forced" party selection. While I like each party member being unique, I disliked being forced to drag Anders everywhere because he was the only one who could heal.

1. improved customization. the DA2 face generator is the best Bioware has put out, just push it further, paticularly with color options; and i want more control over my character's clothing - color and design. it was frustrating to have to wear something that didnt aesthetically work, for the sake of its bonuses.
2. no redunda-maps
3. Companions: thanks for the s/s romance options! I love the LI option. However, i think there's a FRIENDSHIP spectrum that has been neglected. Not al my companions have to be my best friend, and not every close relationship ends in romance. Can you add a BUDDY FILM mechanic? An unlockable best friend, sort of? a watson for my holmes, a riggs for my murtaugh!
4. Make the Grey Warden class more than a story mechanic. it really SHOULD grant extra in-game abilities. it'd be so much better to add a class specialization component to this, with every power taken having a cost as well.
5. I would LOVE to see my grey warden and my hawke in DA3. i would have palpitations if they were available as companions.

1) Different environments, so we're not going through the same places again and again.
2) More customization! This includes: Character looks/background/race/class/etc. , LI/Party members/etc. , Choices making a difference in the story, etc.
3) For once I'd like to see a place where mages aren't locked up. I know that that place may only be Tevinter (I believe DA:I takes place in Orlais?), but I'm getting tired of the mage/templar dynamic.
4) Loved that my Hawke could have a personality and actually talked and all that. Would love to see more of that.
5) Please no multiplayer!! I'd rather all focus went into the single player experience.
Also, as a side note: thank you for making archers fun in DA2!! In DA:O. I hated that I always ran out of arrows and the attacks were just boring. Definitely more exciting in DA2.

1) Lots of choices that matter like in DA Origins and The Witcher 2.
2) Bigger world like DA Origins and no reused environments. - I don't want to be trapped in a city.
3) A very good and long main story like DA Origins. - At least 40 hours of main story if you can.
4) Better combat. - Rogue was great in both Origins and DA2. Mage was a lot better in DA2 so keep that. Warrior with two-handed weapons sucked in both games. Make it like Witcher 2 if you can.
5) Don't make the hottest chick in the game my sister. Give us more hot chicks and make sure we can romance them(one-night stand is ok too).
6) Go back to DA Origins elves or make them look like in Witcher 2. DA2 elves were ugly as hell.
7) Don't make everyone bisexual. It's fine to give everyone options but DA2 did a very bad job with that. Changing Anders' personality completely(making him bisexual when he was not) was a mistake. Mass Effect 3 did the same with Kaiden.
8) More Grey Wardens please. They are so cool. I would love it if I can be a Grey Warden again.
9) Cameos from both games especially Alistair, Morrigan and Leliana.
10) No conversation wheel please. Make it like DA Origins.
11) Party camp was so cool in DA Origins. It would be nice if you could give us something like that again.

A little late to the party but:
1: I want to make my own stuff. but I want to add my own touch like design, details like my own insignia. I want to stroll into town and everyone is like "He has a curved sword!"
2: I want an animal companion that does not take up a party space. Like a wolf, or eagle or something.
3: This is an inquisition. When i'm questioning some one I, not the computer, wanna guess if he is lying or not, and if he is lying I want the choice to dangle him over a roof batman style, then after he gives me what I want, have a coice to drop him or not.
4: everything else was taken.
I know it;'s a lot to ask for, but hell.

Things I'd like to see... and in no particular order.
1. Co-op multiplayer. No MMO! just a way for me and a few friends to have fun mixing up the classes.
2. More (NPC) character banter. Loved when people started "chatting" while running around.
3. Definitely less linear! Maybe Just add more places to run around... I like how the last two had different areas to go to, but maybe add more places? instead of reusing the same ones over and over?
4. Maybe a bit of crafting? I like crafting. What can I say? Also if crafting is added, be able to customize the way it looks also... Have a couple of choices on how it looks (think wyvern armor from Origins).
5. Grey Wardens! They were so cool in the first one and was fairly disappointed when I couldn't be one in the DA2

1. Tool set... adds so much life to the game if mods can be used
2. No multi player, I want a focused single player experience not something that damages that r experience
3. Forget the awesome button that combat was embarrassing (a compromise would be something in between DA:O and DA2)
4. A reason to loot and to explore, bring back some decent itemisation (random) drops so I don't feel like I am being ripped off by BW (real dlc not that rubbish). BG 2 loot you got it right downhill ever since.
5. Companion stories are very important, but please do not trivialise my PC, it is far more important to me then a group of a typical BW dysfunctional NPC (always feel like I am role playing a dark-ages shrink).

No romances. Won't ever happen because of market demand, but let it be known, Bioware romances are awkward and forced to point of being embarassing. I am also calling you out on taking up the cause of same-sex tolerance culminating in DA2. The only statement that made is that the writing was so dry and lacking passion, it could barely be bothered distinguishing between genders. I am so sick of Gaider talking about current socio-political issues as if that would excuse bad writing.
I'd be willing to bet anything that if the writers would have to discard romances for only one game, story and normal NPC interaction would have to become more engaging by necessity.

1. Relationships. Deep, personal relationships between companions, whether they are close friends or a romance (or bitter enemies). I think, like all relationships, interaction between characters needs to grow, age, evolve over time; this also includes relationships between companions themselves. While they follow the Protagonist throughout the narrative, it is obvious they would have formed strong bonds between others journeying with the Protagonist. (Think - Buffy's Scooby Gang!) Also, I felt proud of the same-sex LI's, I felt this represents a growing maturity, fairness and open-mindedness in gaming.
2. Family. I loved the family aspect of DA2. Having a sibling and parent, some sort of familial bond in the game made the experience more deep. We all have family, sisters, brothers, parents, cousins, aunties and uncles, etc --the Protagonist should too, as well as companions! I think with the addition of family for companions would make decisions, suicide quests, general doom more dramatic. Would a companion be willing to help if it meant leaving a child, parent, spouse behind?
3. Camp. Though characters should have their own homes, places they stay, etc - I think a party camp system, similar to DAO would be a great addition. A place where the party can sleep, eat, rest, heal each other, converse, plan the next strategy ... while travelling. Maybe a camp that they can 'set up' with perimeters in specific locations within the level narrative. Say, if they're heading into a dangerous cave - they set up camp at the mouth of the cave and discuss strategy?
4. Life. I think what makes an immersive gaming experience is the push and pull, the reactive nature of the environment, the consequences. A bustling city needs to be moving, people walking, talking, selling, fighting, stealing, alive, crowded. If the player starts a fight in the city, people should run away afraid, guards should intervene, there should be momentary cacophony, punishment, some kind of consequence. This would tie-in with the player's status too, is the player a mage? Does it matter? Will they be judged more harshly by guards for fighting?
5. Toolset! A toolset would keep DA3 alive and kicking for a long time for a lot of PC players. It's also a great way to super-personalize the DA experience.

I already did a list but I have one more that I would like to mention.
Go back to the old design of the Darkspawn. The ones from Dragon Age 2 were ridiculous. This is the only art direction I didn't like. In Origins, the Darkspawn actually looked cool and kind of frightening.

1. No more waves, please. Even if that means a horde of enemies or ridiculously overpowered enemies, I got tired of planning out a battle to the last man only to be perpetually frustrated when more seemingly parachute in.
2. More fluid, natural follower interaction. I know people might say the relationships you build in Origins are unrealistic given the time span, but I thought it seemed much more natural than the ones between Hawke and his/her companions. I loved chatting with my companions between missions at the campsite and slowly getting to know them through a variety of questions, rather than 'Go have conversation A with Follower 3 now'. Also, that secret romantic inside me missed being able to just randomy kiss Alistair in the streets of Denerim if I wished.
3. Believable, relatable characters. Origins did this well, I think, by the end of the game I liked each and every party member for their own particular quirks and merits. Admittedly I've never been able to complete a playthrough of DA2 (see no.4), but from what I did play Aveline, Varris and maybe Isabela(?) seemed to be the only followers who seemed to approve or disapprove of your actions depending on WHAT it involved and not WHO it involved (mages, templars, elves, chantry) which I constantly found jarring.
4. Lowered difficulty. I don't think it needs to be done or should be done, really but the topic is what I would like to see for me, and that is a lowered difficulty. Only because I am still yet to finish DA2 because I keep starting a game, sinking hours and hours into just a small part of the game until I get sick of it. I recognise though that it's my own fault for being neurotic. I always play nightmare for the friendly fire, and I don't use potions or let any party members get knocked out because my brain doesn't accept them. That, coupled with the increased difficulty from Origins made a lot of fights maddening, especially if they had a rogue (don't get me started on two or more).
5. I'll admit, cameos. Not too over the top, but I'd love to see someone like Morrigan, or Aveline and Donnic, Bethany/Carver, Shale, Cole/Fiona/Rhys/Evangeline (book characters in general let's just agree), Velanna, Feynriel etc. I understand these things need to be handled carefully, but I love it when they're done right.
Man, I realise I went way over the top. But... I can't be bothered changing it, I can't just say stuff without explaining.

1. When DLC time comes around, think big adventure. no skin packs or minor questing.
2. No Xbox exclusives. Don't treat ps3 users like red headed stepchilds
3.More Dragons.
4. Mounts
5. Make it so you can talk to companions anytime you want like DAO.
