- Make loot make sense, if you go into a weapons vault and it's full of weapons and armor racks full of cool stuff, there is no need ot have a locked chest with a mundane dagger or some elfroot. Just silly.

- I think item quests would be cool (wether they pan out or not) "you want the sword of all swords? well I hear up in the xx mountains deep in a cave is where it is located as part of a dragons hoard" just things like that.

-More variety in the looks of armours and weapons (for mages, please less robey armours, have more varieties)

-Better music. This is probably most important to me. Seriously, Dragon Age 2 had Rogue Heart, DAO had a few decent tracks, but make an entire soundtrack of great music and I'll love the game if it plays like tetris.

-More spells/abilities would be welcome, but make sure they are unique and not just different animations for the same thing.

-As much character customization as humanely possible.

-A great story (although I'm not worried about this.)

1. Hawke doing a cameo. Really liked all the hawkes I played with, so I'd love to see them jumping around and wreacing havoc somewhere

2. Different bodytypes. I know as a 3D student it's time consuming and some may regard it a bit pointless to put money towards, but looking at the same bodies on every npc gets really dull.

3. Having the options to wear pants as a mage was awesome, so more of that please. Running around in a long bright pink dress with ruffles and feathers will never be less amusing than going on a hiking trip to the mountains wearing stilettos( as we have seen in so many mmorpgs). Functionality in equipment thank you!

4. Voiced PC.

5. I'd like to bring the sexuality-as-a-part-of-the-characters back, since even if it's not that big of a change I found it a bit weird that all LI's were bisexual in the game. I just think sexuality, or lack of it (asexual companion would be most welcome too), is a part of the character, not the world.

1. Great storyline
2. Perfected dialogues, that make you immersed in that storyline
3. Customization options (for Protagonist, don't really care about customizing companions, they need to keep their personal touch)
4. More varied world (i liked the idea of keeping everything near Kirkwall in DA2, but it's inexcusable that locations were made basically by pressing Ctrl C-Ctrl V)
5. Make consequences to your choices more severe than they used to be, players need to feel that those choices will make their game different, from the one played by their friends in more ways than one

That's all i ask for, i'm hyped anyway.

I'd love a moment when you encounter your Warden if he is still alive and he reunites with his old surviving crew of Alistair, Lelianna, Sten, Oghren, Zevran, Oghren, Morrigan, and Dog with the Origins theme in the background. (I'd say Wynne but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere Wynne is dead). They don't have to stay together....but it would be a cool moment.

It probably won't happen, but I can dream. I miss playing as my Warden. Too bad we never got to play a trilogy with the Warden like we did with Shepard.

1. Since DA3 is not all about the war, I would like to see some Elven rebels and Inquisitor can choose side: Elves, Humans, Dont care
2. Better Mabari Dialogues like send him for 3-7 days to the wilds and he must search something and Mabari customization: I want to put on him mabari armor (not heavy)
3. Better undead enemies (not standard skeletons)
4. Deeply in dialogues useable skills like mind-reading, control enemy and talk as the enemy with the enemies (blood mage skill), roughless aggression (more like templar skill)
5. Choices that matter (Even the little choices like in the Elven Alienage = DAO A Templar or 2 Templars should be there in the elven alienages to protect the elven people when some human noble tries to interup elven partys or whats up with Lia the elven girl Hawke saved from a mage = magistrate quest)

I'd like to see our party members auto level based on actions we take throughout the game but I doubt that's possible :)

Better outfits for females would be nice, tight leather pants and matching top, skirts with slits and so on. A female rogue in a leather cat suit type thing is not un hear of

1. Twist and turns for storylines & have your choices have a greater affect on the world
2. More random unexpected humor from characters
3. Bigger map
4. Camo made by either your hawk or warden - something which tells you how they are going

Actually I am a freshman in DA world, so I prefer to control only one character. And I hope in co-op mode, four players can play together.

1. Should DA3 start with another new character, I would love to be able to pick my race again. But please, give all races a voice-actor. I would dread to have another character that looks blankly about when something emotional is going on.
2. More party banter plus camp interaction. And more places to travel, so more banter can be heard!
3. More hairstyles! More armor! More customisation! More everything!
4. You could throw cameos of old party members at me any time. Or if they're not played by us, the Warden and our Hawke too.
5. A lot more romance options. Let it turn out better than "Had sex and their story was complete".

Id like to see them remove that huge plate on the front of the chest armor...altho Hawk is always ready for a quick lunch.
Remove silly red blotches called blood from teeth and spatters its annoying not good
hmm what else.... oh a new characters Yes that would be nice
But how about a game that actually has other areas that are detailed and story line I like Kirkwall fine but ...well you know.

Remove party favor/revenge its outdated and boring.

Add cheats that are simple to use... none of the target pasting text etc... just let us use them or not if we so choose. I choose to use them so easy is better
Remove romance its blah.. i dont care for cartoon love tbh it is yuk wriggle and rangle with anyone? nahh its a game lets keep it a game plz

I agree with what you have said.

1. I want to see returning characters. I love Alistair LOL like you have no idea how much I really enjoyed his personality in DAO. Of course Morrigon. But with Alistair, ah well...I want to keep romancing haha

2. DA2 was so...Blah to me. The characters were so mundane. I really didn't come to love them and aprreciate them as much as DAO. DAO made it so much fun to talk to them in camp (please bring that back in some way) and get to know them. I want to deepen my relationship with them in the game like DAO with the gifts and my conversations.

3. I want to see how my saves will be imported into the DA3 and how they affect the story line in this game. I REALLY MISS having that feeling of "This character is me" and not someone that's already played out. If that makes any sense? For example, DAO MADE me feel like I was the Grey Warden. I was immersed into  the position. I owned it! haha It fel like I WAS the character. DA2 made me feel like I was "acting the role" rather than "being the role"

4. More customization. ( DA2 was terrible with that in my optinoin.  I wish there was cooler looking armour and outfits. One thing that really attracts me to RPGs in the customization of armour and I really didn't enjoy having my character SPEAK. I want to imagine myself speaking. Imaginig I AM the character as I mentioned earlier. The character speaking for me just made me feel like I wasn't playing anyone other than a character that had nothing to do with me. If that makes any sense? It took away from the personal attachment I had with that character. I wasn't the character. I stress that a lot. That really turned me off. I HATE THAT I CAN'T EQUIP MY PARTY MEMBERS WITH THE ARMOUR/WEAPONS I WANT. Ugh....I want my party to look the I want it to. Am I being picky? But I really want to see aspects of DAO to be in DA3. Dragon Age 2 was kind of..."an emarassment" to DAO.

5. I HATE THE LAYOUT OF MY INVENTORY/TALENTS or what ever you want to call the. The talent tree was okay (where you can choose shield bash or healing magic, etc). I'm not complaining about that. But looking at my inventory was such a pain in my ass. I couldn't see a preivew of what I was collecting. DAO it had a little icon next to it. The journal was ugh...terribly laid out. WHY DO YOU TRY TO "FIT IN" with the rest of RPGs in that layout. I want DAO kind of layout better (is layout the right word?). The screen was black and the annoying color scheme was just...blah. Can you tell I was diappointed in DA2?

Overall, I LOVED DAO. I played that so many times because it had great replay value and I felt like each playthrough I could really change the game each time. I liked experiementing with different decisions (should I be the good guy or the bad guy?). That kind of thing.DA2 felt like a completely different game and disjointed from the 1st one. I really wish Bioware would go back to the style of DAO. I am so so frustrated with DA2 that I am really really hoping tha DA3 will GREATLY improve. After playing DAO, everything in comparison was meh. I know a lot of people like Skyrim (which of course is their competition) but Skyrim was BORING. Yes I said it. The same freaking cave looking thing (such as DA2 did....why don't you change it up???). The quests in DA2 were annoying because I had to travel all over Kirkwall. What a terrible city...ugh! lol But there are of course really good components of Skyrim that Bioware should take not of. For example, I can forge my own armor! The music is awesome! I could keep writing and keep writing about this subject. If anyone would like to comment on my post and let me know if maybe my desires are...well "silly" please do so! I guess I am passionate about this subject.

Also, I am not the only one (from personal contacts that I know like friends, classmates, etc) that feels that DA2 was bery boring and mundane and it was nothing special. It was a great diappointment.

Please excuse any bad grammar or spelling errors. I wrote what was on my mind and I felt that worrying about those things would ruing my "flow of thoughts" lol :D

I'M EXCITED FOR DA3. Take care!

Probably too late but:

1. An ending where my choices leading up to it have profound impact on it. Above all, I don't want what happened in DA2, where I could side with the templars all game, then at the last second, I side with the mages, but it really doesn't matter because I have to kill both the templar, and mage leader all the same.

Give the players no uncertainty that his actions had a very noticeable effect on the way the story plays out. Create as many alternate divergent points as possible.

2. Create a viable 3rd or 4th way to play. Too often these games are split between Good Guy and Bad Guy. Choices reflect these two ways to play and it's quite limiting. Create a viable middle of the road way of playing.

3. Give players more freedom in itemizing instead of a linear BiS set piece for every act. Perhaps randomization is in order here.

4. Stop escalating every female character's sexuality. All you're doing is dilluting the character into nothing more but a pair of T&A's. You know you have gone too far when Grandma Flemeth is turned into some super model. YOU CAN HAVE INTERESTING AND MEMORABLE CHARACTERS WITHOUT HYPER-SEXUALIZING THEM. It's not a coincidence that many of the most memorable characters in video game history tend to be dressed like normal people. This has nothing to do with me being a prude, it's about creating good characters who have more to bring to the table than a miniskirt and a lowcut shirt.

5. Give the game an Arena quest. Everyone loves a good arena quest!

I'd actually like for the player to not be voiced. Even though my DAO protagonist didn't actually say anything, I found it much easier to role play who he/she was. I really preferred the dialog system in DAO for this reason. This also would save development money for other things. Unfortunately such a major design decision such as this is definitely already fully hashed out.

The only other really important thing is the ending. The text slides in DAO were perfect, please use this concept for DA3. In fact, use it for all your RPGs from now on! I'd prefer reading about more closure over getting less closure but a fancy cinematic. I was hoping they would use text slides at the end of ME3 as well, but alas.

1: Tactical overveiw screen(Remember when we actually could zoome out in Orgins?)
2: Less re-use of the same areas.
3: No multiplayer, Dragon Age is a single player game where you`re makeing the decisions and commanding your companions.
4: Keep the cross-over combo system from DA2.
5: No DLC characters, it`s fine with exstra content but people should not be forced to pay more money to experience the game as a whole.

not to reuse the same dungeon 1000 times like in DA2
choices effect the world around us as we play

1. More diversity when it comes to character appearance. We can only be human, so take advantage of that... More facial diversity/hair styles, more equipment appearances, etc...

2. A more reactive world. Casting magic in towns should have consequences... I know it's annoying to have the guards freak out every time you fight in the open, but to do otherwise makes the central theme of magic being rare/scary/distrusted/outlawed very unbelievable.

3. Tactical combat... No more waves of foes teleporting in mid-fight.

4. Diverse settings.

5. More interaction with companions. I want to get to know my friends/rivals in a believable way like DAO vs. DA2(where much of this happened off-camera during time-lapses).

1 - Keep voiced PC (very important !)
2 - Skill systeme must be improve or like in DAO
3- Back the NPC equipement customizing !
4 Real impact of the story and dialogs, when you chose men or women (or/and a another race) !
5- Map should be more open, not just a way to follow ! And -more people in the town (like assassin creed).

Most of people here have the same ideas, hope Bioware will notice it in the next game !

Just curious... I know Bioware is tracking all of these requests. I'm just curious... how?

For instance, how detailed is the tracking? Does it have individual counts for people requesting a return for Sten, or is that just lumped into "returning characters"? Is there a separate category for every type of request for equipment (more bows, more skirts, more hats), or is that all distilled down into a "more equipment variety?"

I'd be curious if we could also see a running tally of requests and how they are counted?

Chiming in a little late, here is my top 5 list:

1. Return to the DA:O gameplay formula.
2. Return to the DA:O combat formula.
3. Return to the DA:O RPG formula.
4. Return to the DA:O level design formula.
5. Return to the DA:O character interaction formula.

Can you make this happen, dear Bioware? Can you make this happen, -censored- -censored-?

i am sure BW knows what they are doing.

However: you know in DA2 every character have a very specific set of abilities, which forcing you to endure their presense through entire gameplay. As a Reaver my Hawke is losing hp very fast, so Anders is coming handy. However i really don't like him.

Can you please do as it was in DA:O? so i can make a party from a characters i like without sacrificing efficiency in the process?

 1) Customization! Let us detail this character like no-tomorrow!

 2) Customize Companion Armor as well as our own. Allow us to put whatever we want on them. Bonus if it looks different on each ally.

 3) No Hack N Slash like 2 was. Include a great amount of story and dialogue. This is a story, allow it to be told. I would be glad to invest the time in the game if there was a great story.

 4) Bring back a lot of familiar characters. They do not have to be playable, cameos would be just fine but they are apart of the story so include them.

5) Develop the characters. The great thing about 1 was how you could see certain characters personality. Some you loved and others you didn't grant you, but allow us to see who they are besides just a dwarf carrying a giant axe.
