What would you like to see in DA3 plot wise besides just the mage-templar war?

I would like to see:

Dalish Elves rise up and rebel against humans in a certain country and reclaim their ancient glory (and my Dalish Warden will lead the fight lol)

Return of the Qunari. Maybe Sten becomes the new Arishok.

Grey Wardens/Architect story. The Wardens seemed a little on edge in DA2 and I want to know what is going on and maybe meet the First Warden.

Closure to our heroes- I want to see what happened to my Warden as well as Hawke. Both disappeared off thye face of Thedas.

Those are just some plot items I would like to see in DA3 along with the mage-templar war

The less Mage/Templar and the more everything, anything else the better. I'm hoping blood magic goes back to being rare and not something they lean on for every single insane/evil mage ever is a blood mage.

After DA2 and the anime...I'm sick to death of blood mages.

Yeah I was wondering what happened to them. Maybe they are still at the Vigil.

I dont want to go to Orlais or be an Inquisitionor. I like the mage templar stuff but not as a main story. They need to go back to the first game, deal with Flemith, deal with Morgan and her child, the disappearance of the Warden all this good stuff they could play with. I dont know reading the announcements for Dragon Age 3 have depressed me.

I doubt the mage-templar and blood magic thing will be a small part. I admit seeing blood magic every mission in DA2 got annoying pretty quick.

I know how you feel. Although I think Flemeth will interact with our inquisitor at the start just like the Warden and Hawke.

My ideal plot, considering the direction Bioware has been heading to lately, would be the life and deeds of Cassandra Penthaghast, with her as the player character. They've obviously stuck in their cinematic ways, which are by design counter to an entirely player-crafted character. So as a wise man once said:

The old god Baby. not a major plot point but you know perhaps some side missions where you do stuff related to him/it

I agree with that. If you did the ritual, what became of the OGB over the 10 year span

As long as it doesn't end with Red, Green, or Blue explosions I will be happy...

On a more serious note, I would like to find out what happend to Morrigan and the baby... a continuation of that plot line would be great.

I agree. I only see the OGB appearing as a side mission and not really affecting any of the main plots. Unless they pull a rachni and Morrigan did some sort of Architect ritual and create the OGB that way if you denied the ritual.

Darkspawn and Wardens stuff. I'd love a large plot focused on them. I care far more about that than Mages and Templars.

Also the Warden. He needs to be around. Like A LOT. he's awesome and should play a big part in the story. Hell I'd be open to him being a secret companion. (It wouldn't happen but hell it's be cool)

Anything else is fine as long as we aren't in one city the whole game again

No expectation, no whishlist.

I'm totally open to whatever Bioware writters come up wit, total creative freedom for them from my part.

The thing i'd love above all others is the ability to take deeply varying paths through the games, or at least take several paths with a deeply varying personality for my character.

Example:

Play through my first game as an atheist who laughs at all the religious fanatics and generally thinks religion is silly (and can express that opinion often enough to be relevant), then playing through my second game as a very devout believer that confronts any dissent as 'blasphemy' and can, again, express this opinion enough in game to be relevant to the story.

I'm in for that, but I didn't consider it fits in "plot category"

Plot = The main events of a play, novel, movie, or similar work, devised and presented by the writer as an interrelated sequence.

Gray morality can be incoporated into the plot.

After the deep black hole ME3 left me in all I hope for plotwise is that:

A conclusion to the game that makes sense and leaves me on a high, with the urge of wanting to play the game once more. And ending that gives me closure by default, a climax worthy of a hero's tale, a feeling of triumph and accomplishment...and a hero truly (!) alive, please no cliffhanger or memorial-boards...Posted Image

1. The Dalish don't seem close enough to being able to retake the Dales. They have less than the Quarians did when they tried to take back Rannoch.

2. Qunari don't do promoitions. Sten even expressed disgust about how nobody was content to be"who they are." So Arishok, Arighena, and Ariqun are picked by the Temassrans at a young age, like everybody else.

3. Agreed.

4. If the Warden went through the mirror, we already know what happened. As for the others, I'm content believing that his/her disappearances is ultimately up to the player to decide. As for Hawke, cut content from DAII supposedly showed Varric meeting with Hawke after being interrogated. So he might still be living in Kirkwall, just hiding.

My wishlist.

My Dream Team: Alistiar, Regalyan D'Marcall, Varric, Rhys, Evangeline, Tallis, a Mabari

I'd also like to see a larger selection of romances and squadmates. Also have more situations like Alistair/Loghain and Carver/Bethany where your situation or choices will allow you to select one person to be in your party over another.

And maybe throw in some cameos from Mass Effect. (Perhaps the Normandy crashed somewhere on Thedas in the ending lol. Or maybe when Shepard jumps into the green beam he didn't die, but was warped into another universe. And he can dedicate himself to defeating the Darkspawn like he did the Reapers.)

Go back to the realistic love scenes from Origins, but MORE realistic(no dry humping while you're still partly clothed. ME3's Liara love scene shows you can do this)

The less time spent on all the Templar/Mages bullcrap, the better. So incredibly uninteresting. More darkspawn/Flemeth/Grey Wardens/Morrigan stories please.

I hope they learn how to write a proper ending, I realise its pretty hard but some basic rules were ignored in ME3's ending even with the extended cut.

Besides that... Bioware should listen more and place fans opinions above their own while trying to create the story they want. (It doesn't need to be a happy ending but only satisfying)
