Leaving aside Dragon Age, you should be able to run a lot of last-gen games on a netbook: Baldur's Gate I and II, Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment (each of which are available upgraded to run on Vista and thuse Win 8), old Lucasarts adventure games, the old Sierra adventure games (Space Quest, King's Quest, Leisure Suit Larry et al), just about anything you buy from gog.com. I can see the appeal of turning one's netbook into a little portable game platform.
Any netbooks that can run this game?

running an acer aspire one. windows xp, 1.5gigs of ram upgraded. 1.4 or 1.6 ghz processor. no graphics card. now i can run world of warcraft pretty easily, minus dalaran and wintergrasp where i chop walk all to hell. runs a few other games, but wont run dragon age. whichever notebook ya have, make sure it has an actual graphics card ^^

I've been checking out the Asus EEE 1201n which is due to come out mid-january...that could potentially squeek by the min. requirements.

Probably not, but what you want to do is check out its graphic capacity.
