Thank you so much for posting this. Cole sounds amazing! I’m also excited about Dorian – we’ve heard so much about the Tevinter imperium, but it’s all mostly negative. Nothing is every wholly evil or good, so I’m looking forward to getting another perspective on mage empire. Cullen and Cassandra are personal favorites of mine as well.

I'm hoping the Grey Warden turns out to be Nathaniel, not Stroud, but that's just wishful thinking on my part. It is a given I'll love any Grey Warden character, no matter who it turns out to be. I have a soft spot in my heart for them.

To those expressing concerns about how interesting the companions sound - just wait. You do anyone justice in just a few sentences. I'm guessing if we summed up any of our own lives in a similar fashion, we'd sound boring as hell. It's the spark of personality that adds depth and makes a character loveable (or loathe-able). Bioware has a great track record for creating likeable, deep, multi-dimensional characters and I'm sure the companions in DA3 will be just as great.

Interesting...the "Version 2" game description from the original poster sounds *a lot* like what happened in the anime "Dawn of the Seeker"! The behind the scenes features said the movie was canon, but perhaps it plays a more important role in DAIII's backstory then I originally assumed.

Yeah, I also thought they sounded similar - except that Dawn of the Seeker apparently happens in 9:22 Dragon, or 18 years before Cassandra's scenes with Varric and presumably the start of DA3.

I'm cool with all that but "Cullen"? the one the wierdo fangirls seem obsessed with?

Kill that PoS with fire already... or the murderknife.
