So, Orlais,
It seems like a great game setting, and I'm exited about that, but I'm somehow scared... of the french accents.
Now I know, most voice actors with the french accent from Dragon Age and Dragon Age 2 were real french speakers, I get that. But I still think their accent were way too strong.
I'm French, and most of the time voiced characters from Orlais made me cringe! I have to make an effort to sound that horrible in english.
So basically what I'm saying is that I hope all Orlais characters won't have this incredibly strong accent, some people do speak like that, but I really don't think (hope) it's the majority... and please for the main characters that you hear all the time, tone it down a bit?
Orlais and the voice actors...

As long as an Orelsian says this I'm okay with anything else they do.
" I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your gender direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries. "

They could always pull an MGS3 and say "Because everyone's actually SPEAKING Orlesian, this time, there are no overt French accents."
Or they could retcon the current "Orlesian" accent into an exclusively Val Royeaux one, I guess.

I'd imagine the rich have only those ridiculous sounding accents, the common people may have a more grounded accent.
