What sort of things from Dragon Age 2 would you like to see back in Dragon Age 3?

-The time skips. I liked how a small almost insignificant quest had a follow up years later in act 2 or 3. I also liked how many of the side quest were connected. You could also see your companions relationship develop in a way that would not be as realistic if you only play for a few months in the game world. I liked how they became old friends.
I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with the time skips.
On the one hand, I love how some side-quests were connected and grew (like the mine you purchased, making you slay bigger and bigger monsters) and your relationship with your companions and certain other NPCs.
Like you mentioned.
The part I hate (though hate is a strong word.)
Is that I sometimes felt like I missed too much, of course some things were shown through DLC (which was very interested.) but it still felt like I missed a lot...
But all in all, it was pretty cleverly done and I wouldn't mind seeing it appear again in DA 3.
Though maybe not on such a grand scale. (Having it only appear once, or something.)

Ok, one thing. Face construction and ability to remake the face later. Thats it.

2) Sandal
3) Anders
4) Isabela
5) Fenris
6) To Kill Sebastian. ( this could be option number 1)
The Humor please! I think thats what made me like da2 so much and that doesn't mean I am ok with act3, the same dungeons over and over or how Hawke story ended.

Also i'd like some of the Berserker skill to be back, being a berserker in DAO was good and powerful but in DA2 it felt more like being in rage (with some exceptions, i.e. hitting at match speed) than in Origins, or some of the Blood Magic animations.

I liked how the companions interacted with each other to the point of knowing each other and having relationships with each other outside your influence.
I liked how you had a house, and your LI could sometimes live with you.
I liked the mage's swagger and abilities in battle. They were clearly the most fun class to play.
I liked how the family members resembled the player's cosmetic choices. No more adoptions, not that there's anything wrong with that.
I liked the more mature storyline, though it got lost in the weeds in the 3rd act. Treat me like an adult, dammit.
I liked the Dominant Personality system. Snarky Hawk, nuff said.
I liked the voiced Protag. Good jobs done for male and female.
There's a lot I liked about DA2. I mostly just hated the recycled environments and the game-breaking bugs in the PS3's DLCs. So just take all the good and leave out all the bad.
Forgot to add, I liked the new artstyle. Not for the Darkspawn, for the characters, sure.

- Having a family made the game feel personal and depending on how things played out, completely changed my PCs motivations and reactions. It made it feel as if the stakes were higher.
- How fun it was to play a mage in DA2 compared to DA:O. I've never been a fan of the mage class before (I always used to play rogue), but now I think I'll actually start out as a mage in the next game.
- The companion quests. Much improved in DA2 and very much appreciated.
- The friend/rivalry system. Gaider already said that this will probably change, but I loved it!
- The way I could change the design on my PC during the game.
- The "Maker's Sigh" so I could make up for mistakes while leveling.
- The way the dominant tone decided how my Hawke responded during conversations.
- The "broken heart"-mark. When I replay the game mainly to experience a new companion romance, breaking off the romance by mistake isn't exactly ideal. So even if people want to remove the "flirting" icon, I'd at least like to know if my Hawke is deliberately calling it quits with her partner or not. Because sometimes, I apparently don't interpret things/words the same way as my PC does. ^^;;

The Mirror of Transformation! I freaking love that thing!
Ability to summon my Mabari. Love having my extra warrior!
Those are my top three. I'm very excited that DA3 is "official" now!

I would love to see a revised Friendship/Rivalry system return, but please don't make it lock once you max it out. Uncertainty is best, despite what the Qun teaches.

2)Personal story
3)My companions had lives and interacted with each other without you. I thought it was so cool, when you walked into visit a companion would be there chatting with them. My companion's lives should not evolve around me, and my quest.
4) Time. I might be the only one that likes to be reminded about time passing in a game, but I love it. I need it to be implemented better..
5) Family cosmetic choice resemble family members.(That is big immersion thing for me)
6)Fully voiced player character.

Yes, those Mabari woundhounds are awesome, and I think BioWare should carry on the tradition of having a Mabari in the Dragon Age games. Not that I wouldn't mind another summonable pet, just as long as it is as epic as a Mabari.

Friendship / rivalry system improved.
I try to think hard, but I have no idea otherwise.
Edit : Ah yes party banters, And, I'd say the combat IF you can make it more realistic. That's it.

I agree, the party banter is a must in BioWare games.

- The friendship/rivalry system, although needs tweaking so the characters know WHY you don't get on with them (e.g. does Hawke hate Merrill because she's a force mage who hates blood mages, or because she's a warrior hates ALL mages?) so it can be accurately reflected in dialogue
- All-bi love interests (it just makes the game that much more customisable, it's great)
- Hawke's stacking personality system
- Emphasis on a personal story
- The faster combat (although it could do with being a /little/ slower
Also I'd like to see some more playing around with the narrative framing device DA2 played with, but it may be that the framing device was a little quirk peculiar to DA2. I don't know if we'll see it again.

* The kind of hairstyles that were available from DA2. They looked much more fluid and real compared to the DA:O hair (especially female hair).
* I also loved the different family member designs that changed to match your design. That was really cool.
* Rivalry/Friendship system. It could probably use more tweaking and expanding, but I loved that even though I loved mages, I could still have a significant/meaningful relationship with Fenris.
* The fact that choices in conversations were not related to personality. For example, when Fenris finds out that you're a mage, and asks you what you want from life, the choices have that arrow icon, not the Happy/Sarcastic/Aggressive. Having that separation from choices and personality helped me created a more unique character.
* The faster/snappier battle animations that were in the second game (hooray for no more shuffling!).
* Having a house! It was just really nice, to have a place where I could go to check my mail, see signs of my companions, have family members to check on. It doesn't have to be a house, having a personal Tent would achieve the same result.
* The fact that every companion had a long, meaningful character quest. It was nice compared to how Origins cheated some characters by giving them a lame personal quest (Oghren comes to mind).
