I liked Merrill and Varric character wise, and the combat was good, maybe up the difficulty a smidge.

I loved (among many other things) that there wasn't a companion that was evil for evil's sake, like Morrigan (and to a much lesser degree Sten and Zevran) in DA:O. More of that, please.

Merril. So my Warden can kill her for what her stupidity caused Marethari to do.

The whole 'home' system. I liked Hawke's home, and I prefered that party members each had their own space.

I think it can be improved drastically, but I hope the system stays.

Oh, and multiple quests for companions.

Oh god yes, I can't believe I forgot this!
I loved the companions in DA:O and wished that there were more quests to do with them, and DA II delivered on that.
My only complaint about the companions between DA:O and DA II is that you can't have a conversation with them in DA II when you want to find out more about them...

If they can somehow combine the conectivity between companions from both DA:O and DA II...Then I'll be vey happy.
(I especially love hearing about there backgrounds, or cultures and it somehow felt like it was discussed a little less in DA II, aside from Fenris of course.)

Camping was more fun though :)

Seriously, I think camping lends itself more to an adventure style game than a having a set home.

Urgh...very hard find something I liked in DA2...
well...

Varric...and...let me think...oh, yeah, short hair for famale character!I liked threm!

Mostly I want back elment from DA:O.

non combat skill
more dialogue options not only sarcastic/angelic/badass
pickpoket
Origins
Playable races
talk with a mercant to buy things. This is non ME. We talk and interact with the mercant, not with his sack!in DA2 was very sad.

Skill trees.

And maybe non-party dog. Although party dog was way more badass.

Very similar to the two things which I can honestly say I liked about DA:2

Varric (lose the stupid crossbow though)

Flemeth

That's it.

Good point about the dialogue options too, although for me they came across as:

sarcastic = ******
angelic = soft tart
badass = tough ******

If you switched between one and the other it just seem so out of place. I really can't think of DA:2 too much without feeling sick.........bleeeeuuurghh..............

I liked how they made Hawk act the same way in the automatic dialog as you made him act with the dialog wheel. It felt like I could customize my character pretty well even though this feature could made much better.

This.

And this, although I think we should have a tavern where we could all meet from time to time.

*Force mage

*Dominant personality

*For my first RPG, having the dialog wheel made me feel more immersed in the game than I would have otherwise.

*The combat system was also easy to use, and having the auto-attack made things a lot better when I wasn't paying attention to party members in battle.

*I really liked the more personal story throughout the whole game. The reason I wasn't really into RPGs before DAII was /because/ it didn't have the "Save the world/Beat the bigbad" storyline. However, I wouldn't mind having both in DA3.

*I thought the all bi LI was one of the best things in the game, if only because it felt having like my sarcastic, blood mage, male Hawke romancing Fenris made him more customizable (^_^).

Those are my main points, but I loved most everything about DAII (as a first time gamer, having the small setting made the transition easier, though I wouldn't mind a larger one now), and I hope the creators don't just get feedback from the haters :D

And these too.
