Hopefully more than one voice for male and one voice for female. Ideally I would love the choice of at least three different voices. I'm not really expecting it though, it would just be nice.
I couldn't stomach female Hawke's voice, it just didn't sound right to me.
Wow you are considerate "I don't like playing as a female so I don't think females should have more voice options, but I like playing as a male so there should be more male voice options."
Let me guess, you think there being "more men playing games" justify's this suggestion to make a franchise promoting equality to start promoting inequalitiy? I don't care I think it's a sexist viewpoint.
Why am I even responding, I'm sure I'm just going to get flamed for responding...But I think bioware should know that fans out there disagree with the attitude that has slowly been "flooding the entertainment industry". Though due to movies like Hungar Games making tons of money I have no idea why other than people like Rush Limbaugh having hissy fits about feminists being ****s or some other ridiculous hatred like that.
That wasn't what she/he meant.
She/he was saying "I hope male and females have more than one voice."
Don't jump down people's throats like that.
"Hopefully more than one voice for male and one voice for female." In the english language according to proper grammer that means more than one voice for male and only one for for female. If they had said "hopefully more than one voice for male and female" than they would have ment what you thought they ment.
It's astounding that you're trying to discredit my argument by arguing against proper english, but I am not surprised because if you even make a mention about sexism then people think your femin@zi and over the line. Also femin@zi is a term given to us by Rush Limbaugh himself who manages 70 sexist smears against a single woman he disagrees with over 1 show. But Rush Limbaugh can go on all day and make money off of these hateful remarks, and I make a simple comment defending equality in a game and I get jumped on no matter what. It has happened to me before when responding to much more explicit comments geared towards femshep mostly. Also Merril, Jeniffer Hepler, Ashley's voice actress and Miranda have been the target of comments that I have disagreed with and recieved flame for being "uptight" by dare speaking against sexism.
Wrong is wrong, and I depend on proper english to understand what people are saying. So yes I stand by my comment. And I'll "jump" as much as I like, and you might think it extreme but I think a well written argument supporting human rights deserves less flame than hate speech even if many people seem to dissagree. <_<
