The F/F Romance thread: what would you like to see in the women love interest(s) for DA3's woman protagonist?

A DA3 equivalent of this thread.

Who would you like to see as the female 'f/f' love interest/s in DA3? Which race should they be? Should a love interest from one of the previous games return? How would you like to see implementation handled? (By which I mean where and when should you meet? How suggestive should sex scenes be? How much content would you like the romance to have? And so on...)

This is not a thread looking to argue the point on inclusion. It assumes inclusion and wishes to discuss potential handling.

(For the sake of clarity I'd like to stress that this is NOT a 'pressure BW into making the LI we want' thread. They will, as they should, create the characters who suit the game/narrative. I wouldn't have it any other way. BUT so far as I can tell, so long as we accept all of that, it doesn't mean we can't have a little harmless fun speculating on what would be fun/interesting/sexay/etc.)

I think the way ME3 did it, where specific characters were gay, straight or bisexual, instead of the whole cast being bisexual or ambiguous, is the way to go.

There should be one or two characters that are of the lesbian persuasion. As for who they should be.... who knows? I'll leave that open.

This. I understand why they did what they did in DA2 as it was such a small cast of companions, but I like the way they did it in ME3. Though a straight female Shepard w/ no Kaidan or import romance w/ Garrus was pretty much out of luck.

I agree with this, not being able to kiss Leliana in public unlike the Alistair/Morrigan romances bothered me a lot. They need to make up for it now.

All I want from same sex romances is an acknowledgement that they are indeed same sex. Zevran mentioning that he was bisexual but preferred women was a nice touch which added some realism to the relationship, but in DA II it seemed that BioWare was reluctant to address the issue of sexuality directly and wanted to make Hawke genderless in the sense that our LIs would never mention whether they were involved with a man or a woman.

So much this. A strong willed and even dominant female love interest is what I want. It's one of the reasons I wanted Aveline to be be a LI in DA2, because her personality drew me in. I like LIs that challenge the PC's will personally and DA2 did right in doing the rivalry romances imho. I'm still holding out that I'll get a cleric f/f LI someday.
