For a female warrior, I wouldn't mind seeing someone like Jaheira from BG2 (one of my fave BW romances)...though, minus the dead husband drama.   We've had enough dead husband/wife/whatever stuff.

I think that DA:O's story could have been tragic with Morrigan as a female love interest; at the end, after connecting on a deeper level than just physical, she would have asked her female lover to persuade Loghain or Alistair to perform the Dark Ritual with her. Yeah, that story-line could have been pretty damn awesome.

I did do the modded Morrigan romance and I thought it fit pretty well and this is the feeling I got from it (I was actually feeling pretty bad for my Warden at the end...it was crushing) though if it was in game, they'd have to change some of the dialog for the female romance Dark Ritual scene.

Yeah, but I don't like that in DAO, you could not publicly (or even in camp! why?) display affection with a same sex LI, and really NO ONE commented on it, unless Morrigan was trying to make you impregnate her through you or Alistair. I think Shale had some lines.

She should be class of templar, not religious fanatic but most of the time righteous type in way of Paragade.


She would be orphan since age of 12 when she lost her family in local conflict betwen templars and blood mages, few days after destruction of her home the local sister from chantry would find her hidden in a water well on the edge of exhausion.
The chantry would try to recover her mind, but schock which she has suffered from the events which caused deaths of her entire family would destroy her memory - bring a nightmares over sleepless nights.

After 2 years since her arrival to chantry, sisters in chantry could see how the silent girl was still watching over the templar trainings, In the age of 16 she would start speaking and she would like to join to templar order, her first years would be just about training and in the age of 23 she would join to the ranks of templars. In age of 24 she would become templar knight and she has recieved task to bring back to justice two young mage and templar lovers would tried to escape from tower, three wicked templars from her guard want to rape and kill the refugees, but she would killed them and let refugees escape.

She would return from guard and told her Knight commander about sin which she has done, she would be punished because the knigh commander would be also corrupted, and wicked captain want use her as an example to others which will try to provide JUSTICE, In the age of 26 she would be freed from her prison by upcoming war betwen mages and templars, which seeds have been sow by the Hawke in the Kirkwall...

The relationship betwen the protagonist and companion wouldn´t be simple gifts throwing into + karma, but about  helping her to collect her pieces of memory on her long ago lost family.
Whole journey woud lead into few locations which could remind her something from her childhood as the part of the puzzle, she would share these details with protagonist if they were together in relationship. There could be also some kind of moments or events where the protagonist or this character would be seized, and the other side would need to get to her lover in time (reference Drakon DA:O and DA2 lost of mother )

I would like to see pure lesbian, pure homosexual, heterosexual and bisexual companions like in ME, but more balanced. I don´t like the DA2 with bisexual everywhere party... it´s too far-fetched

I actually believe that the more we learn about human sexuality, the less far-fetched it will sound to people. A lot of studies have been suggesting that we are all more fluid in regards to sexual orientation than originally thought, especially women.

I will stop there because that doesn't have much to do with Dragon Age, but that's my take on it.

I would prefer to see a F/F romance where the LI is shy or unsure. Essentially the player character is into it but the LI is hesitant or needs to be convinced/seduced to try it out. You know, potentially confused about her sexuality, the blushing maiden type of character.

Maybe she had past relationships with men that didn't work out or otherwise felt wrong and she just needs a push to go F/F. That would make it nice as a F/F only but I suppose that could be a setup for a bi character too. But the important thing is I want to work for it. I don't want it to be easy - but that goes for all of the romances. It's far too easy in games to get your romance going.

Otherwise I'd like a character who is restrained about her sexuality kind of like Traynor from ME3 where I didn't even realize she was into girls until my male Shep tried to make a move on her.
