I always wanted to know what happened to Wynne's daughter. Taken from her at birth by the chantry. That would prove to be an interesting character and possible LI.

Her son is the main character of the last book, Dragon Age: Asunder.  It gives a bit more information about what's going on in the world after the events of DA2.

Speaking of Asunder, not necessarily Adrian herself, but someone like her would be interesting.  She was extremely passionate about the plight of mages, to the point of obsession, but I can't hate her for her anger.

I guess my ideal f/f love interest would: Have short black or red hair, green eyes. Strong and at the same time kind. Sure of herself. Human or elf. A warrior.

Basically a companion version of paragon femShep.

That's my ideal one though, there are lots of other sorts of women I'd be happy to see in the game. Short black haired mage that speak with a high class english accent would be cool. Not posh, just high class.

Looking at other female characters out there from non BioWare things for a basis on the sort of personality I'd like to see with a female companion: Batgirl and Black Canary as they are in the New 52, Artemis from Young Justice, Olivia from Fringe, Beckett from Castle, Samantha and Anya from Gears of War, Zoey from L4D, Tavore, Apsalar, Picker and Blend from Malazan Book of the Fallen, Arya from Eragon, Arya from A Song of Ice and Fire (though you know, an adult version of her), Ripley from Alien, Anya from Buffy, Illyria from Angel, Echo from Dollhouse, Zoe, Kaylee and River from Firefly, Kuo from inFamous 2, Xena and Gabriel from Xena: Warrior Princess, Janeway and B'elanna from Star Trek Voyager, Amy Pond from Doctor Who and that lizard samurai and her girlfriend that appear in that one episode of Doctor Who.

So you know, generally strong people with maybe a hint of either mystery, psychopathy or hilarious naivety thrown in. Maybe two of those at once, or all three.

Kate Mulgrew could whisper sweet nothings in my ear any day.

Besides, don't tell me I was the only one who picked up on the supertext subtext going on between her and Jeri Ryan in Voyager.

Seriously, I do think Flemeth should be an option, Or perhaps even a Templar.

Jayne!
The man they call Jayne!
He robs from the rich and,
he gives to the poor!

Epic win, sir!

And if we're naming people we want to hear in the game: Ellen Page, even if it's not a romanceable character. And for a really sweet character: Molly Quinn (who plays Alexis in Castle).

Qunari woman as the top/aggressive one/(whatever the english term for it is) in the relationship. Or some Merrill type crazy mage/witch that just wants to make you hug her and help her do things everyone else is generally against.

A character that is NOT like Leliana or Isabela. I would be ok with Cassandra. A female Kossith would be awesome as well. I just dont want another female bard/ assassin type I want a different character type for my female character, something new.Image IPB

The Empress would be a good option, I wouldnt expect her to be a teammate, but she could be like Kelly/Samantha in ME2/3 and be a non-teammate LI. Anora should've been an option for female Wardens in DAO, The Empress would be a good one for DA3.

Cassandra comes across as the type of commanding character that might put off some people.

So she should definitely be an option.

Awww... *pats*

Have to second this. If you're going to have a Female/Female Romance, wouldn't it make sense to have a Female Writer plot that out? (*Pause*) Although, to be fair, I prefer having a female writer for anything romantic/sensitive. (*Second Pause*) Wow, just realized how Sexist that sounds towards women. "Romance and having Emotions is a Girl thing!" Ugh, excuse me while I punch myself...

Not gonna happen.
Unless they plan to include both Bethany and Carver as a romance, you know, depending on who survived the ogre.
But that would mean twice the work for effectively one romance path and there would be people all over whining because Bethany/Carver died on their playthrough and they can'r romance her/him.

...Me being one of them, because my main DA 2 playthrough is with a mage Hawke.
Poor Bethany. Image IPB

The sad part is I actually broke my cardinal rule about fantasy settings (namely: Always play a Mage because they are *awesometacular*) just because Bethany was so much more enjoyable as a sibling companion, who's love, maturity, and support really added to the weight of responsibility my Hawke felt in providing for and protecting his familiy. When both ventures, ultimately, fail, the fact that Bethany still shows her admiration, love, and respect for her brother made being forced (thanks Gaider) to play a Warrior/Rogue not completely unbareable.

Tried playing a Mage with Carver, but his Jar Jar like infuriating nature ("Wah, I have to live in my brother/sister's Shadow! Wah, I want to be my own man even though I don't really know how! Wah, I'm going to make the worst career choice possible merely because I resent my Brother/Sister!") just made it impossible because, for the sake of Roleplaying the game, I wanted to keep my sibling as involved in the story as possible namely by having them with me through all of Act I.

With Bethany this was a joy as her company was always a delight because of her witty humor, remarks, observations and her ability to get along with everyone (except Fenris -though her come backs at him were brilliant-) plus her usefulness as a replacement for "slit my wrists" Anders as a Healer. Carver was just so much dead weight in both story, companion interaction, and usefulness (IMHO). (*Pause*) Sorry, got off topic. Back to Female Romances.
