Not gonna happen.
Unless they plan to include both Bethany and Carver as a romance, you know, depending on who survived the ogre.
But that would mean twice the work for effectively one romance path and there would be people all over whining because Bethany/Carver died on their playthrough and they can'r romance her/him.

...Me being one of them, because my main DA 2 playthrough is with a mage Hawke.
Poor Bethany.

But I honestly can't think of Seven and Janeway that way...I just see their relationship as more of mother/daughter thing than anything else.

Aaand there was that one moment in the episode "Infinite Regress" where Seven got 'possessed' by a male Klingon and tried to claim B'Elanna as her mate. Good stuff.



Back on topic:
Anyone else think that there should be more opportunity for 'casual romance'? By which I mean flirting (or more) with NPCs that do not actually play a large role in the story. Like Bella in DA:O. Or that girl who thanks you for finding her brother.
(Obviously, these should be available for females as well)
It was always fun to see your LI get jealous in DA:O when you responded to the flirting. DA 2 was lacking in that regard. (Athenril! Lady Elegant! Y U NO LET ME FLIRT WITH YOU?)

Girl in Redcliffe who worked at the bar. You could convince her terribad boss to join the fight, and he'll hand ownership of the bar over to her(if I recall correctly).

Regardless, if she lives and owns the bar, you can get a reward from her. One of which is a kiss(if you're a male Warden).

If anyone has played The Last Story, Syrenne. She is damn hilarious, albeit similar to Isabella but lacks the mile long history. What I fancy is the back and forth banter she has with just about everyone, especially Lowell. Put that up against a sassy Femhawke and you have some comedy gold, plus a nice little romance story.

From the same game, Mirania. The somewhat mysterious and unknown character. Unlike Morrigan, this is the "I'm not a ****" version. BioWare has yet to give this a tackle and past games have shown some quite compelling characters fitting that description.

Ultimately, while some variety would be nice. If I had to choose, independent and sassy wins every time. And no, they do not need a heap of experience. In fact, it might be interesting if the sass was a front because of lack of experience.

Wouldn't Empress Celene be sort of a silver fox type? She's 40ish when DA2 ends. But then, my Fem Hawke is 35 and she looks younger than me

Celene strikes me as that silver fox type, especially when she was going to marry a much younger king (Cailan) to expand the Orlesian empire.
