I don't know if anyone has heard about the other speculative companions (I do not risk being blocked by naming them). One of them, the elf rogue, I feel like she would be a F/F romance option. Anyone know who I am referring to?

Maybe she could be like Anora in DA:O and under certain circumstances you could romance her.  She is Orlesian so hopefully she would be more romantic than Anora even if it is just a political marriage.

She does seem that she may like romance more than Anora. Anora seemed too steely and ambitious to care about romance.
