I kind of doubt the Chantry would go for it. Maybe the Empress could overrule them, but... well, I admit it's intriguing in its way...Quicksilver26 wrote...

Well the Chantry and all that stuff has fallen into to pieces. Our imperial wedding will tie the Inquisition to Imperial Orlais. Or something like that.Xilizhra wrote...
Why would a political marriage work with Celene if the PC was female?

The F/F Romance thread: what would you like to see in the women love interest(s) for DA3's woman protagonist?

The Chantry in regards to sexuality and marriage According to the Chant Of Light, Andraste had a spiritual marriage with the Maker. All Andrastian priests are therefore symbolically wedded to the Maker and sworn to celibacy. In the eyes of the Chantry, marriage is both a celebration of tradition and a practical decision. Through a favorable marriage, one can make valuable connections, improve one's social standing, and secure financial stability for oneself and one's family. Love is not necessary for a successful marriage but is nonetheless desirable, as it makes the union stronger. The Chantry permits annulments but not outright divorce.(just fyi it does not say anything against and gays;)) so say if it'll stop the war i think they would be all for it.

Characters like Merril, and Liara. I like a lot. They are not the usual Lesbian romance opitions.
My favorite F/F love interest from Bioware was Silk Fox in Jade Empire. <3

Hmm... and Andreste was already married before hooking up with the big M... so was she cheating on her husband, or do they allow poligamy?
Then again, since Andreste ended up being roasted, maybe we should try and find someone else to use as an example

I like the sweet girls. Leliana was a bit to religious for me so I was pretty disappointed I couldn't romance Morriagan even with the whole evil spawn thing.

I would also love to see a female romanceable character who is a warrior, just for a change. All I see are rogues and mages.
So, my wishlist seems to be a female equivalent of Fenris. And I can totally live with that
In general I would really like Bioware to stop relying on the same tropes in their characters. We don't need a girl next door in every game, Bioware, really. We can live without her. DA2 was a big step forward in this because it had Isabela instead of a "shrewd devil woman" and Varric instead of "generil unthreatening beta-male". So, let's hope for the best.

An absurdly high frequency of Public Displays of Affection.
I agree with this, not being able to kiss Leliana in public unlike the Alistair/Morrigan romances bothered me a lot. They need to make up for it now.
Yes this.
I would also vote for Calisto in DA3 but she does not indulge in recreational sex apparantly its natures way of tricking people into reproduction and she wants no part of it. But I am all for my Awesome DA3 PC changing her mind.

Mwahahaha, that actually sounds really good. I don't remember much of her because I never got through the whole of Xena (yeah, I know, heresy, how could I. I'm ashamed of myself), but what I remember seemed badass
you could you know just watch the ones with Callisto in them
