Cassie's more or less a blank slate there sitll is a lot of stuff we don't know about her i for one would like to get to know her more (i do however would also like some one who we know nothng about along side her:D)

It's the same situation in the sense that, while Isabela was introduced in DAO, she only came to really shine in DA2. Thus, a lot of what we know about her is a result of her role in DA2, and not the former. Cassandra would be similar, as she was introduced in DA2 but we don't really know a whole lot about her as a character (background, history, etc.). A reappearance in DA3 would likely help rectify this.

Yeah, I'm not planning on seeing Dawn of the Seeker, so all I know about Cassandra is what I saw in her scenes with Varric.  And she was at work.  You don't really get to know people when they're on the job.

And I'm really hoping her appearance is more like what we saw in DA2 than Dawn of the Seeker.  She looked completely different there.

Hm, well I hope she has a few twists if so, I never surprised by anything Isabela did.

I believe it takes place during the time of the Viscount before Dumar.  The one who the Templars overthrew.  Not sure what year(s) though.

It presumably happens prior to the Kirkwall events, as it is said to follow "[Cassandra]'s past". It's possible that the events of Dawn of the Seeker led to Cassandra traveling to Kirkwall, but a confirmation from someone who's watched the movie would be nice.

9:21 Dragon: After a failed coup against the Templar Order, Viscount Perrin Threnhold is executed and Marlowe Dumar is appointed Viscount of Kirkwall. Due to her part in the arrest of Viscount Threnhold, Meredith is promoted to Knight-Commander of Kirkwall by Grand Cleric Elthina.

The "Kirkwall incident" that's referenced in DotS is that, so around that time, just before Maric disappears.

I'm just confused b/c the wiki also states that Divine Justinia V appeared in Dawn of the Seeker but she didn't assume that role until 9:34 I believe.

Yeah I don't think it is Justinia V but I like to suspect it is since she is so easily "manipulated" by the Grand Cleric of Orlais


I don't know where the wiki got the idea that it was her... 

I saw the movie and it's really irrelevant towards the games other then giving Cassandra a very GRAND backstory.  You also get to see a bit of crazy chantry folk. Which was fun.  

There's also a guy that flirts with Cassandra and she kinda flirts back with.  Gonna have to drop that here.

Most likely true.

Though I'm more worried about whether or not she'll be a potential LI.

I think she will be if she's a companion.

It's likely she won't be a companion...if they would decide she's too important to the over-arching storyline and thus is a prominent NPC/quest-giver.

But I'm fairly sure I'll come to love whoever the f/f options are (and yes, there needs to be more than one), since I ended up loving Merrill and Isabela so much.

So much this. A strong willed and even dominant female love interest is what I want. It's one of the reasons I wanted Aveline to be be a LI in DA2, because her personality drew me in. I like LIs that challenge the PC's will personally and DA2 did right in doing the rivalry romances imho. I'm still holding out that I'll get a cleric f/f LI someday.

I would like it as well.And it will be great to have two options in F/f LI  one dominant and another submissive for
different PCs.
