Pretty much anyone other than Cassandra for me, thanks.

I believe the reason some people find Cassandra so fascinating is due in large part to her sporting a less-than-subtle mixture of power and mystery. These are two traits that often result in the audience's curiosity, thus gaining their attention and support despite the apparent obscurity of the personality in question.

Personally, I've always had a thing for women who are mysterious and at the same time possess a sense of untold power - such as Ada Wong (RE) and Xiuying Hong (Shenmue II), to name a few. Cassandra seems to be that kind of character, and I actually look forward to her next appearance. I don't really care if we can romance her as that's not exactly why I'm attracted to her, but it wouldn't be a bad addition.

This^ She feels like a very strong woman to me who can also be gentle and kind  And she is royalty too! :P

I'd have to agree with everyone who would have liked to see Cauthrien. It's such a pity she can be killed during DAO.

The fandom will collectively cry if she ends up not being a companion or a non-romancable companion. Well, I will cry.

But honestly, I'll probably love any female LI they throw at us. As long as they keep the DA 2 approach so I have a choice and aren't stuck with one lesbian LI.

I'd be happy just having her as a companion. A love interest for those who want that, of course. She is a compelling character even with the limited screen time she has in DA2.

Considering Leliana could readily recover from a whiff of headlessitude (depending on the Warden's actions), I wouldn't rule out Cauthrien's chances of making a grand return; vowing to show those Orlesian tarts how to properly dig into a...well, you know.

Pretty much my reaction. Couldn't resist playing on the 'rat' concept, though.

Plus: purple. Would love an LI with purple hair. :P

Mmm... the punk aesthetic is probably integrated better into an SF IP.

You never know, it could be the latest wacky fashion among the Orlesian nobility.

Cassandra, obviously.
Other than that, how about a plucky elf as Cassie's foil? preferably with less bickering than Anders/Fenris.

Unless this elf is a warrior princess, I am out. Enough cliched rogue/apostates pointy eared have been created already to last for years.

Less Xena, more Callisto.

Well, both types of those characters would be better if human(in my head). It'd be interesting to see an elf version.
