Well, if they did include a female Kossith, she probably wouldn't talk about either liking or hating the Qun, because if she was a Kossith, she wouldn't believe in the Qun, meaning she wouldn't be a Qunari and she wouldn't have to be a Tal Vashoth, because those are Qunari who left the Qun.

Kossith is just the race of horned giants.  Most of the Kossith seem to be Qunari and the few that we have seen that are not Qunari have left the Qun as Tal Vashoth.  If we have a romanceable Kossith, she would probably be Tal Vashoth since they don't seem to have romance like that under the Qun.  Well unless they reveal some new faction of Kossith that never accepted the Qun in the first place.  I was just covering all my bases.

I would like to see someone new... A woman who's driven and strong, with a very focused reason for joining the player, like avenging her family's murder at the hands of some noble, or reclaiming lost honor. Probably a warrior. Somewhat similar to Aveline, but much more emotional, a firebrand kind of personality. Somebody who really gets mad and frustrated because she has all this strength, but realizes that it isn't enough to accomplish her goals, and thus needs the player's guidance to accomplish them. Not necessarily angsty or emo, just direct in her dealings with people. She appreciates honesty and understanding, and despises lying.

I can't think of a dragon age character like that yet, which is why I think it would be interesting to have one.

Same here. I might go recreate my Dalish Warden and do a playthrough of both games until DA3 gets here. Too bad we can't import out character back into the same game like ME. Just not be as gay as possible lol

Not fussy as long as they have defined sexualities. The idea of 'Hawkesexual' companions always annoyed me. If there's going to be a F/F option, have the characters involved be lesbians or bisexual. Sexuality is a significant part of a person's personality; handwaving it to make the romances easier or fairer or whatever isn't really acceptable.

Even though we didn't get too much time with her, I always pictured Cassandra being very similar to that description. I think that would make for a very interesting dynamic.

I don't have any specific wishes when it comes to writing - that I leave to the writers who I expect will do as great as they have in previous games. No pressure, hehe.

But I want the romance to feel like it's a lesbian romance, not a "fanservice romance for straight guys playing female characters". I've come across several games with romances/lesbian characters where the developers make this mistake. It's kind of hard to pinpoint exactly what is the problem, it's just a feeling I suppose. I don't want to say that those games were bad, because I could really feel that the writers had put a lot of effort in how they wrote their characters, but they still fell a little short.

I would like to say though that Isabelas romance in DA2 came across really well, because of how proud and unapologetic she was about her liking both men and women. But it worked because that was who Isabela was. Btw, the romance was so well done, love her and Lady Hawke together!

But do you ask new people you've just met whom they prefer to sleep with?  What about friends whom you are not sexually attracted to; do you make them give you a list of their past sexual partners and/or whom they fantasize about?  That would be kind of weird, right?

I see the love interests in Dragon Age 2 as simply not disclosing that information on screen.  It allows the player to use their imagination about certain things.  We don't *have* to know everything about these characters...heck, we don't even know Anders' or Isabela's real names.

Well, if a Kossith was born from two Tal Vashoth parents in a non-Qunari controlled area, wouldn't that make them neither Qunari nor Tal Vashoth? They may have certain opinions of the Qun, or their parents may never have mentioned it, so they may have no opinion on it. Or, if they were taken before they could learn of the Qun, they would be neither. Plenty of options and ways for there to be a just "plain" Kossith, but also plenty of possible interesting backstory options.

Well, yes.  If they were born outside of the Qun then they would never have been Qunari to abandon the Qun.  But I doubt a female Tal Vashoth who probably went through hell to get away from Par Vollen (no females in the Antaam to just up and quit on a scouting mission) would be neutral about the Qun to her daughter.

As long as I can meet with my LI the warden, Leliana, Hawke and Isabela and have an epic all-girl sixsome I'm happy  (I'm sure atleast Isabela would go for it)

I just felt like mage is the most appropriate choice for DA2. Similar to how Human Noble fits the most with DA:O

Most of the time I was playing for femHawke warrior, so I had never that problem, but yes I wished that you could to pick which one should go to Ogre´s fist instead of forced death...
