I want to be able to ladymance that Rivaini scribe girl who may-or-may-not-exist-according-to-leaks. She looks interesting!

This! I really liked her total appearance and aura about her. I know, really too soon to discuss her but I found her interesting, it was really the only character from the "leak" that I liked or caught my attention automatically from their character design.

I hope she is romanceable for ladymance or malemance. Though I usually play female protagonists so I hope she would at least be available for the female protagonist.

I would also like Tallis as a potential companion and LI for the protagonist! I really liked her in MoTA. She was funny, fun, clever, and a rogue I have a thing for rogue characters for some reason. :P Oh and she has my nose. ^_^

But do you ask new people you've just met whom they prefer to sleep with?  What about friends whom you are not sexually attracted to; do you make them give you a list of their past sexual partners and/or whom they fantasize about?  That would be kind of weird, right?

I see the love interests in Dragon Age 2 as simply not disclosing that information on screen.  It allows the player to use their imagination about certain things.  We don't *have* to know everything about these characters...heck, we don't even know Anders' or Isabela's real names.

No, but if I were to know someone as a friend over a seven year period, such as in DA2, I would expect to know whether they were hetero/******/bi. If the subject never came up (not realistic) I'd be able to tell from their partners. The romance options not disclosing that information on screen over such a long period of time just doesn't work. These aren't work colleagues or the like, you are fairly close to all of these people.

Cute and adorable, when i play it f/f i like to break the stereotypes.

Isn't that the stereotype though, or at least in Bioware games? The s/s romance with Leliana in DA:O was "cute" and so was Merrill's in DA2.

I don't think so. I got the bisexual vibe from Leliana the instant i met her in game, and her story seemed to back it up. The same with Isabela. I didn't realize Merrill went that way until I spoke to her in her alienage home.
Besides, i never described Leliana in the cute and adorable way as I did Merrill. Leliana is experienced and acts that way too. She's more hot and bold in my opinion.

Hope not... I realy don´t like when they are forcing some new and cheap geek characters like Tallis for DA2 or Allers for ME3 and ofc Jersey shore meathead of ME3 despite that he was atleast acceptable...

This all depends on the individual, however. People have different levels of comfort about their personal lives, even with family or people they consider close friends. I can say, that from personal experience, it is indeed realistic to know someone well and for a long time and still not have a good solid handle on who they might be attracted to.

So too, what happens is that we often make assumptions about the people we know, if just from circumstantial evidence. It's always possible to consider someone as X when in that person's heart of heart's, he/she may see themselves as Y.

Kossith, or at least someone who isn't too fanservicey. It was rather annoying that the F/F romances in ME3 were almostly purely fan service while the M/M were emotionally moving

I would imagine the time line would have alot to do with what choice I would prefer,
If several years have passed in the timeline, I would just as soon see new companions, LI's etc.
As much as I like Izzy, I dont want an 80 year old LI lol

Can we please get this on topic (what sort of female love interests you'd like to see), rather than have the umpteenth debate about whether having a bunch of (possibly) bisexual or player-sexual romance options is "realistic"? Please?

I'd also like to see an emotionally detached and withdrawn character who's had a lot of difficulty with her emotions in the past, so she's eschewed them from her life. Perhaps she fears them, or she fears what might happen if she loses control (a wild mage, perhaps?). Over the course of the story, she discovers that she has them after all, and undergoes a journey with the player to see how they develop.

I honestly didn't even know who Felica Day was before MoTA. I liked Tallis because of her character and personality, not because Felica Day voiced her. Even though she is a "geek character" I suppose, Felica Day did a good job in my opinion of course to each there own naturally. :)

But I can see why you and others would appose such characters.

Is that a little similar to Leliana's arc?

I'm not particularity partial to any archetype, so long as the character isn't overly melodramatic. Still can't stand Fenris.

I don't think so. I'd take it further than Leliana's arc... the character could be mistaken for tranquil sometimes. Or perhaps the character would start off tranquil, but then restored. Or perhaps she's a Qunari (kossith) female who becomes Tal Vashoth. She's never had the necessity for real emotion before since the Qun was all she needed, but now she doesn't know what to do with them. And the player is just awakening all sorts of strange feelings in her, and she's uncomfortable because she has no idea where they came from or what they mean. She's always ignored them before because she had the Qun to lead her, but she now lacks that. I think it could have some interesting potential.

Edit: The more I think about it, the more they'd have to take it in a different direction than simply "The character doesn't know what to do and is confused and alone". They did that with Merrill already. I'd like the focus to be more on them not sure how to deal with the emotions, while still remaining fully functional and capable.

That. Pretty much something like it. To be more specific, I always wanted an experienced Nevarran dragon hunter (although Cassandra might take her place it seems) that is tough and somewhat detached, but has a few moments, like around children for example, where she might let some emotion seep trough. Having some scars and/or burns on her face and body form previous ecounters with dragons would have been pretty neat too.

Hm, to answer the OP's question I'd say some kind of breasts are in order. Also, I don't have to see it, but the implied presence of a vagina would go a long way.

Aside from that, I find requesting specific looks or personalities for fictional characters for my fictional alter ego to romance kind of distasteful.
