My GF is bi, but she's very shy about it and it's not something that she likes too many people knowing simply because she doesn't want it getting back to her family. However, take her to a city and out the way of them and she's eyeing up more women than me lol.

If Orlais is this big, open minded Empire where people are sexually liberated, it would be nice to see that reflected in one of the homosexual characters by their reaction to coming from a more isolated, small-minded province, to one where homosexuality is not only accepted, but embraced (very Orlasion IMO)

cool

How about someone like this?
F!Inquisitor: I noticed you eyeing me.
F/F!LI: I wasn't eyeing you.
F!Inquisitor: Yes you were.
F/F!LI: Got me, I have always been more interested in women and not men.
F!Inquisitor: Well, I do not mind ladies checking me out.
F/F!LI: Really? Orlesians are more open-mined than I thought.

I'll be the first to say it: I like playing female protagonists.  My first Commander Shepard was FemShep, and stayed that way to the conclusion of my first playthrough of ME2 and ME3.  My hero in DA1 was female, my Hawke in DA2 was female, I anticipate my hero in DA3 will be female (though to be honest I'd much prefer to just import my Hawke).

With the assumption of inclusion, the reality is I want to see all team members be possible romances like they were in DA2.  Let me choose, according to my personal criteria, who I romance.  One of the largest irritants to me from playing the ME trilogy was the two people I wanted to romance the most, Ashley and Miranda, were not viable options for me.  I didn't want to romance Liara; I didn't want to romance Samara in ME2 (and DEFINITELY didn't want to romance Jack...).  Ashley and Liara were back in 3, and I wound up having to romance my secretary because she was the only bisexual/homosexual romance option I personally wanted to pursue.

I was never that into Meredith, but then again we really didn't get to see much of her until toward the end. She really should've been featured more prominently in the game, like she could've been there at the gate when we first went into the city. It really took way too long to meet Meredith, considering her ultimate role in the game.

Well if Meredith had been there at the beginning it would have made the game full of derp trying to explain why the Knight Commander did not arrest the obvious apostate putting down the refuge rebellion in the Gallows.

I really was not interested in Meredith. I just wanted to glomp her for the reaction. T'would be hilarious.

She really is swoonworthy, that one.

I don't know, I just kept thinking that there had to be a reason for her paranoia, probably a tragic reason considering it's Bioware (someone mentioned the theory that her tranquil assistant is actually her sister who was unable to resist the demons) and my mage!Hawke just wanted to take Meredith somewhere quiet, sit down, drink some tea and have a nice, long chat about her past and her opinion on mages (and other things) and her personal life and just treat her as a person rather than the Knight-Commander everyone sees in her. And administer hugs when necessary.
She was such an interesting character. The missed opportunities make me sad.
I would have been much more interested in finding out about her motivations than in having to bring down another crazy bloodmage.

*sigh*
I just really wanted to save her from herself.

Meredith was totally frigid. Not seeing much potential for romance there. You'd have a better chance at smexing up Flemeth.

Although.... now you've gotten me thinking about Meredith x Flemeth. Hmmmmm.

But that's the beauty of it!

Not to mention that we all know protagonists possess magical sex powers that make all the panties in a 50 mile radius drop. Image IPB

I would just like to Import Fem Hawke and continue the fun with Isabela. They just complement each other perfectly.

A female love interest that doesn't revolve around her sexuality or false masculinity in order to be a strong character. I'd like not to see more of an Isabela type that plays up the sex angle to ridiculous degrees (unless we get to have a male that does the overly sexual thing too- at least spread it around, heh).

We did.

His name was Zevran.

And I don't think Isabela played the "sex" angle to rediculous degress but that's a subjective opinion, but I wouldn't mind seeing another character like her.

all i hope for is a romance which you can commit to early in the game and then seeing something like the LI react to the coices you do an they react to it.

I was/am a Liara nerd in the mass effect series but in all honesty it grew damn tedious having to basically chase chase chase until the end of the game and a silly sex scene to basically commit id prefer that sex scene out way with if at all there and basically , ach i dont know just more story i guess, i just feel theres more potential in the romances and its just the same thing being handed all time.

I felt the origins ones where the best out of both the DA an ME series so far tbh, especially the alaister and morrigan ones, but im also thinking that maybe thats where the dialogue wheel has for me anyhow ruined the romances.

All that aside for F/F romance id like maybe a morrigan type story or liara both of which i enjoy an both offer for myself different routes in gameplay an help set my character up on the route/choices/reactions she will be taking on a set playthrough

Honestly i'd just want to continue my Hawke/Isabela romance or see it continue in DA3.

For a new one though i really don't mind so long as they aren't completely devoid of Humor and don't solely focus on one thing and constantly bring it up evertime i talk to them.

Ok, so Orlais, do you, guys, think we will actually get a French companion? Will Bioware go Leliana 2 on us?

Seems kinda obvious. Not "Leliana v2", but a character with an Orlesian accent at least.

Meh, my Dwarven noble and my My Roguish City Elf romanced Leliana b/c she was the only female option, but at least one of them was thinking of Morrigan the whole time.  She was my favorite LI, but she was the only one I never romanced b/c I couldn't get past Ostagar w/ my one and only male pc, nearly the same story w/ Miranda.

I would love a f/f LI option with that prickly, tough attitude exhibited by those two, but maybe not another complete badass like Jack.  I prefer to be the badass in my f/f relationships:lol:
