The F/F Romance thread: what would you like to see in the women love interest(s) for DA3's woman protagonist?

Who do you think is most likely to end up a LI?

Blond elf girl and Cassandra, maybe they are the DAI version of Alistair and Zevran

I'm putting my money on all three. One of each class, considerably different personalities between them. Seems like a good balance.
If I had to point to one as being the least likely, it would sadly be Cassandra. The Dragon Age team seems to have a bias against giving us a female warrior LI. Though I suppose they haven't released enough games for me to call it a pattern, yet. Inquisition will put that to the test.

Depends on how accomodating those strongholds are.
As love nests I expect they'll leave a lot to be desired .
At least we should be able to kiss our Li. Missed that in DA2.

If I spelled her name right. She was on Battlestar Galactica, she on the cable show Longmire, and she in the Riddick movie that came out a couple of weeks ago.
She's blonde. They had her dressed up in a star trek uniform, as dr who, they had her wearing pants that looked a little tight leaning against a dalek, they had her in a skimpy ragged dress all green colored to resemble the alien temptress in the Shatner star trek episode, and others.
I wondered how she would look as Sera.
Sakhoff seems to be a larger young woman than you would expect an elf to be but since they had her playing dress up I thought why not.

But I feel that if we go to completely opposite direction, it isn't good either, and it seems that's kinda what happens in Dragon Age. Take a look how City Elf Origin was handled. My elf couldn't even mention to her father that she doesn't want to get married because she doesn't like men (this way). Of course I get that it was about arranged marriage and so on, but it certainly wouldn't hurt if you had such option in discussion.
I have addressed this in another thread, but I'll reiterate:
In that case, it is perfectly reasonable to see it as just that: an arranged marriage of convenience to improve the family's lot in life, not necessarily one where romantic feelings are or need be involved. Could there be improvement in dialogue for that type of event in the future? Certainly, although even so reluctance at it could still be expressed.

I would hope BW refrain from that.
Another thing that was brought up here before:

Isabela and Morrigan. These 2 are my all time favourite characters in the Dragon Age universe so far. I am really hoping we get to romance them as a female character
The woman's aloof condescending attitude towards men in general kind of lends itself to her preferring the, in her view, 'superior' sex to foolish, easily goaded Man. Found DA:O to work well in that regard with the romance unlocked, other than he/man-references as well as the one about virility (although that can be applied to women as well, can't it).
There may of course be the issue of the Dark Ritual (which I had Loghain take part in to avoid complicating matters later on)...but then again, given that all manner of voodoo is involved with that - the 'siring' of a god, no less - and since BW went and implemented a way of reproduction independent of race and sex in another franchise, I do not see that much wrong with that idea.

I'm going to ask again, please, everyone, when someone comes into this thread to debate the bi and/or playersexuality issue, could we all bring it back on topic? This was a thread created to talk about what kind of f/f romances players want. This thread *will* be locked if people indulge the rude, selfish people who ignore the intended topic to whine about a subject that has been beaten to death.
Oh and, just to be clear, this.
This is very much a who thread not a how thread. Thanks.

The precedent thus far with those types is that they have consistently less content than companion romances. Could this change, do you think?guitarmouse wrote...
I have always adored Morrigan, and Cassandra is such a strong woman, but maybe I wouldn't mind seeing a romanceable woman that is not a companion. One you could visit and court in town or have visit you at camp. That could be very interesting

So far yes it has been the hapless flirting, but I could envision a quest-line being wrote for it, and party
banter referring to her.
Just a happy thought

perhaps, but the scens they do have come off as very emotional (in the end, at least).

I wanted SO badly to romance Morrigan as a woman, because I loved the friendship she and a female Warden could develop. And I thought a romance would just be an expanded version of that, but then I saw the actual romance on YT and... wow. The way she is with a guy (or rather a romanced guy) is so different, and not really in a good way (IMO). So I remain disappointed.
I'll probably roll another Warden sometime and make them heterosexual life partners, LOL. She'll try to make Morri's dreams come true, give her a baby via Alistair or Loghain, and follow her into that blasted mirror. Alas, unrequited love!

Leliana was too: "Oooh, shoes! Pretties! Poetry! Lalala!"
Morrigan was straight, but if she had been available, she was too into herself and what she wanted.
Isabela was the same as Morrigan, but she was also hedonistic and I found her too raunchy.
Merrill was like a little sister with social awkwardness.... I didn't feel right being with her.
Aveline's personality was what I was most attracted to. So I'd like to see a female character that has her traits.

I agree. There's something that's just not right about being in a relationship with someone who makes you fundamentally unhappy.

I think it all depends on how they're implemented. DA2 was often lacking in that regard, so it's more that I like the idea of rivalmances... disagreeing in a respectful fashion, without being patronizing.
