Personally i like characters who are a bit snarky. I do love the idea of a romancable female warrior for a change and Cassandra would be really cool. Her habit of saying "bull****" what feels like every 5 seconds could make certain situations a bit...weird though.
The F/F Romance thread: what would you like to see in the women love interest(s) for DA3's woman protagonist?

Hmm. Well awesome voice is necessary, but that's almost guaranteed in a bioware game.
Good point. Any thoughts on actresses you'd like to hear as an f/f LI?

For me it's Laura Bailey. I'd love for her to voice a companion/LI in Dragon Age.

I lost count. Let's just take the nine and throw a zero on the end. Nobody will notice.

We want someone different though, surely? Particularly from actresses who have only just done it?

Strictly speaking, the most important thing for me is that all LIs are available to either gender. Because dammit, I'm sick of straight romances being shoved down my throat and I'm sick of having to settle for an LI I'm not really interested in just because I happen to be female. (Looking at you, Lelianna and Liara!)
I think it's easy for straight and truly bisexual people to say 'but LIs with defined sexual preferences are more realistic!', because they are not the ones who will feel left out. (Because let's face it, the awesome people (Morrigan, Miranda, Tali...etc.) are ALWAYS straight options.)
And I actually think that it isn't necessarily more realistic. There is not a person on earth who is 100 % straight or homosexual. There is always a chance that one day you'll truly fall in love with someone...and that person might end up being the same gender as you. Big deal. You fall in love with the person, not the gender.
And now I'm going to shut up, because I know that this is a topic that divides the fandom and we've discussed it to death already...
Other than that:
I want Cassandra Pentaghast. Because she doesn't take bull**** from anybody and unlike with Isabela, I won't have to worry about contracting an STD or finding her in bed with someone else.
I imagine her romance to be pretty difficult, maybe a little bit like Morrigan's. She'd simply refuse to let herself be distracted from the mission by any feelings she might have...that is not to say that she does! Because she totally doesn't. And looking at her with those big blue eyes won't change a thing! (I might imagine her as a bit of a tsundere, if you'll excuse my anime speak.)
And that reluctance makes it all the more delicious when she finally gives in.
It'll be a night of passion, fueled by months of surpressed desire...(can you tell I've been thinking a lot about this?)
I don't have any specific wishes for the other LIs, because I know Bioware will do a great job with them.
Although if they were to create a Callisto, I definitely wouldn't say no...glad to see I'm not the only one who had a crush on her. (Has, actually.
(Oh Callisto, my beautiful blonde psycho! How you've made me appreciate villains.)

For actress I'd say Laura Bailey, Grey Delisle, Lucy Liu, Lindsay Price or maybe even Emma Stone.
Been watching too much old Avatar the last airbender, but i would romance the pants off of any chaotic neutral/evil characters voiced by Grey Delisle

FYI I'm a straight girl but I always play either a gay male PC or a lesbian female PC because I just prefer to play that kind of character. But I am a gender deivant in my RL.
So "the gay option" affects all kinds of players, trust me! It's really important for me to be able to play a non-heteronormative character in an RPG. But ofc it surely is most vital for those players who truly are LGBT to be able to step into the boots of people just like them and have ALL THE SAME options as a straight PC.
(And I agree with you that no one is 100% anything.)
Yeah I have no interest in Leliana (no offense Leliana fans; I respect your love!). But I don't want to make a male Warden to romance Morrigan. The dynamics of that relationship is just "ick" for me. I wanna play a girl with Morrigan, but I couldn't.
Bless DA2; I get to have all four options, however which way I want it
That's just role-playing, if you ask me.
