I know you guys can do a keyboard/mouse UI AND a controller UI and switch between them
Enabling controllers should not change anything for those who want to use a keyboard.
Nobody should be against it as it only gives more options to the user. Nothing is taken away.

Controller support on the PC is the make or break for me.
For some reason Bioware has a poor history of enabling controllers on PC versions of its game and that is simply inexcusable this day and age.

I think it will depend on how different the PC release will be from the console versions. If it's anything like Origins, I wouldn't care less about controller support in the PC version. Mass Effect, on the other hand, could have had controller support on PC. I'm surprised they never implemented it.

PC and console versions are being made by the same company.
It's not like it's something that the PC version can't handle.

Aha! so the glorious pc master race is coming to the consoles on it's hands and knees asking for controller support now is it! Off with their heads!
Actually I'm primarily a console gamer, which is why I want to sit on my couch with controller in hand.
But then I built a PC to play Skyrim and my computer blows away my PS3.
Sadly I ended up having to buy the PS3 version of ME:3 because I couldn't use a controller.
I really don't want to play DA:3 on my PS3 if I can avoid it.

Come on Bioware, every other company in existence nowadays that is making multiplatform titles manages to support the controller on the PC version. You can do it!

It's not like it's a new thing for PC games. I bought an Xbox 360 controller to play some PC games that aren't suitable for keyboards (like Super Meatboy, Lego Indiana Jones). PC gaming is about choice. You take that away, and we might as well be playing on a console.Beerfish wrote...

Bioware is an AAA developer so it should be something that is well within their ability.

Bioware, please don't tell me you are taking this ignorant route once again and snuffing controller support as the only way the PC version is "superior". PC is about choice, and your fans have spoken very loudly on this issue. Give us controller support along with M&KB support so we can play as we see fit.

I was reading a piece about this game in the newest Game Informer and they had a small section talking about the PC version being the superior version, but all they mentioned was M&KB controls.

Loadly? Come of it, you are not some part of a huge tide of change.
By all means, let's add controller support for a version that is apparently supposed to optimized for PC interface controls. Then, you can all **** on how hard it is to use the controller so and ask them to make the PC version MORE like the console, then we can just do away with the PC version!
Hyperbole, I know, but everyone was being too touchy feely and nice in these threads.

Bioware really has no excuse not to implement it... and that was especially the case for the Mass Effect series.
Seriously shame on them.

Personally, I would play more console games if I could use KBM to do it.
I've always been rather surprised this isn't a feature, especially when developers try to bring genres which are eminently better served with KBM... Real Time Strategy comes to mind immediately, to say nothing of First Person Shooters. (Although that raises debates within the competitive sphere)
Anywho, I can't think of any instance in modern gaming that doesn't allow a Gamepad option, even if there wasn't, give the mod community a weekend to change that.

And I would agree with Sylvius and Deflagratio, I'd play more console games if I could use KBM to do it.
