Allers. hate hate hate ( would've loved the option to blow her out the airlock ).
Jack.
Jacob.
Kai Leng. ( utterly farcical, couldn't take him remotely serious ).
Cortez.
Kaiden.
Samara. ( i don't know why, i just couldn't gel with her character ).
Vent boy/starbrat. ( need you ask? ).

Which characters did I dislike? Let's see:

Dr. Michel
Banes
Kaiden in ME1 (liked him in ME3)
Ashley in ME3 (liked her in ME1)
Kai Leng
Jacob
Allers
Zaeed
Schells

I like the character of Miranda, I just don't like having to talk to her or involve her in stuff because her face is too "uncanny valley" (though not as bad as Allers') and her perma-wedgied derriere gets far too much screen time.

i disagree, mirandas derriere needed more screen time

I really don't like characters that don't make sense military wise for instance Jack, Kasumi, and Thane all have no business being on the ship ones insane and why we need it when we could've gotten a sane Asari to do her job is BWs edgy reasoning skills, Kasumi admits herself she's not needed and in reality she isn't a thief on a military mission? that's again BW wanting to be cool, then we have Thane it's bad enough he's a space ninja but he's also a dying space ninja! Are you telling me we don't have hand to hand combat and can't use that effectively? Or we can't do black ops stealthfully enough? We're in the freaking military we don't need this guy!

Then we have Vega all alone he flirts with superiors and can't be bothered to dress not to mention he keeps showing off for our known gay crewmen which has got to cause distractions for him Vega is the exact opposite of an employee you'd want and even less of a candidate you'd want for the military or the N7 program he should've been scrubbed from the list all together.

Javik he single handily removes any need to be a mental prothean by his very existence why did I have to go get my brain rewired if all I had to do was dig this dude up and have him tell me where to find Illos? Him being alive messes the the lore of the entire game and the point of ME.

EDI her body should've been optional the player could've filled her robot spot with a real crewmen from ME - ME2 instead we have to get Eva so EDI can become a solid crewmen? Her physical form took up space that didn't need to be taken up all her lines could've been done via comm but BW needed to give Joker someone to love.

I have a slight problem with Grunt too he was an obvious Wrex replacement and not a sound one like Jack we didn't need someone with his background. A digitally trained glorified baby isn't what we should aim for when assembling a crew so our scientist guy died Mordin wasn't a replacement enough for this guy? I couldn't go out and replace dead scientist with say Athena, Kal, or random starbuck warrior?

BW doesn't look cool when they do this they just look like idiots when they pick such nonsensical military crewmen to stock the ship.

Only liked Ash in ME and EDI in ME2.

Strongly disliked Aria, Kai Leng, TIM, EDI in ME3, Diana Allers and Miranda.

Everyone else I really didn't give a sh!t about. I left quite a few dead on the Collector Base just to get rid of them.

I liked pretty much everyone in the first Mass Effect. In the second, I found Jacob boring, and Samara a little dull. In ME3 I liked everyone except Diana Allers.

Udina: I just hated him from hello. He is just a slimy politician who you can't wait to see fall.
The Illusive Man: I just hoped that he would choke from all that cigarette smoke.

So much hate for Allers. I didn't like her but she didn't make me hate her either. Unlike some of the other characters you at least have the option to not have anything to do with her. You can choose not to bring her on your ship and you can choose to kick her off. Other than that she only took up space that wasn't being used anyways.

For me there really wasn't much hate, other than maybe Kai Leng but I'll chalk that up to Bioware making a character they wanted you to hate, like Udina. Mostly there were characters I could not care less about. Miranda, James and Cortez fall under that category.

I don't know that I actually hated any ME characters, but there were some that I wasn't a fan of.
Jacob, but mostly just in ME3. In ME2 he was just kind of redundant, but in ME3 he just seemed to "thugish," which wasn't the impression I got in ME2.

Vega, but mostly just because he sort of dropped off the map after the first few missions, and didn't really seem to have a purpose. He was also a little too "bro," too muscley and jockish.

Kaiden, he died, I did not miss him.

Ashley, she lived, but so what?

Jack in ME2 I was not a huge fan of, a little too standoffish and punky, but I think mellowing her in ME3 made her a much more fun character. I wanted to see more out of her in ME3.

Hate is a very strong word, having said that here is my list.

Liara - It's hard to say for certain why I don't like her but I know I disliked her from the very first moment I had my first conversation with her on the Normandy in ME1, she was practically throwing herself at my Shepard when she had only just met him. I have always felt as if she were forced upon me, shoved down my throat so to speak.

Jack - I get what Bioware were trying to do with her and I like the character in concept but I think she was a poorly executed character. If you don't romance her in ME2 then the only version of the character that you will ever get to know is a very shallow 1 note character. I also prefer my characters to be more subtle, to have different layers, to not be so black and/or white, I knew pretty much everything I needed to know about Jack after 1 conversation, there were no surprises, no mystery, I've seen a thousand characters like her before and they are all the same.

Jacob - Where do I begin. Another poorly executed character. Alot of this comes down to the way he dialogue was written and the way the voice actor delivered his lines, there was just something about the delivery that made Jacob come off as very rude. Character design was also an issue for me, the head seemed to big for his body and his hips were far to narrow and the skin tight lycra did not do him any favours. There is also an issue with the fact that Bioware did not do enough to make him stand out ( in a good way ) in comparison with ME2's other squadmates.

Tali - Tali went from being one of my favourite ( if not my favourite ) characters in ME1 to being one of my least favourites. As for why that happened, there is a very slight shift in tone and mood from ME1 to ME2, she's angrier, moodier, more abrasive and a bit of a ****. I have nothing against, angry, moody and abrasive people since I am one myself ( at least on the net ) but I do miss the Tali from ME1 and do mourn the loss of her innocence and the fact that the change in her personality is never explained or acknowledged in ME2 and ME3.

Edit

I forgot to mention Kai Leng. I don't have enough time to go into why I hate kai Leng in ME3 but there are enough posts about him on these forums that Bioware probably knows how and why they screwed up with him.

Nice knowing you pal.

I kinda hate Kai Leng, but that's probably because we're meant to.

Ashley, having been interesting to talk to in ME1 has nothing to say in ME3. Would have been worth cheating on her in ME2 in fact

Jacob was never much fun and they made him flat-out boring in ME3.

Miranda's tough femme fatale thing had me ignoring her room more than others between missions.

I found Liara in ME1 to be a dull mess of confused social interaction. Maybe that's because in my first ever playthrough I only recruited her after Virmire. She became both useful and interesting from ME2 on.

I don't think I even need to mention Allers.

People who get a bad rap but whom I think are awesome? Steve Cortez and Jack. Jack is totally unique as a squad member and her evolution over the series is quite touching. Cortez is your cocky tech-savvy pilot once you help him figure out his personal stuff. Leviathan DLC only made him cooler.
