No, it won't be the baby as he may not exist in some playthroughs.

He would be only nine years old if DA3 takes off in the year 941. From the leaks last month said that it was going to be someone who worked in the Chantry that held a special job of inquisitor. So you torture people to start the game off and everyone is afraid of you.

If the OGB exists, and DA3 takes place any time shortly after DA2, then the kid would be at max 14 or 15. Not really a great protagonist in a game with romances and civil wars. Moody teenagers w/ magic + unrestricted destruction would not be a particularly stable PC, though admittedly an entertaining one. I smell a facebook game.

More likely the PC will be an Inquisitor or somehow involved in that, or maybe a victim of the Inquisition.

I want a Dalish Elf to be my protagonist but it's likely going to be a Human again:crying:
Maybe The Inquisitor could be any race

and it can't be the OGB because you didn't have to do the ritual plus the OGB is a male according to her in Witch Hunt so they wouldn't make only a male PC

As much as I would love to play as Morrigan's son, it won't happen as even before in DA2 we did get to choose gender if not race (I can only imagine the rage on here if BioWare didn't allow players to choose between a male or female protagonist)

Hence it will be someone we haven't met before, but even if the origin stories with races have gone, it would be pretty good if we have something simailer to DAO but in instead of races class backgrounds.
So for example (from the top of my head) if it is someone from within the Chantry then, warrior - Templars, rogue - Seekers....don't know how they could fit in Mages unless its from a secret area of the Chantry as the Circle isn't really a part of it I believe (then again I get the impression theres a lot to the Chantry that we don't really know about yet)

Yea, then you would establish where you stand in the civil war by choosing background! That's abrilliant idea!

If Morrigan's son was born in 932, and if he was 14 or 15 when DA3 starts, than it would be the year 946 or 947.  But I think it is suppose to be 941 when the game starts.

import warden,import hawke or New character

i know they said new NP but it would be a massive importence if you could choose who to play as.

I keep telling them, there are a lot of fans that want their warden back and to continue on with the Flemeth/Darkspawn/ Morrigan story. What are they going to do when DA3 only sells another 1.5 million again? Will they listen to those fans for DA4?

Bioware has completely ignored player choices before.
