A couple of Newbie questions:

1) I have a mage's staff, how do you use the ranged attack power it comes with?  I cannot assign it to a hot key like my spells...

2) I found a rune of fire which is suppuosed to enhance a weapon in a crafting capacity.  How do I utilize it?  Herbalism does not seem to help!

1) click on the enemy to attack with the mage... they automatically attack. You may also set tactics to attack nearest enemy and they will use their staff.



2) Wait until you find an enchanter. You will meet 1 I don't want to spoil your game but post back later if you can't find him..

There are senior enchanters all over the tower. Is this what you mean? I do not recall any dialog options to use the rune...

nope: you'll find an enchanter later in the game, when your 1st quest is over (I understand you start as a mage) when travelling further to another place in fact. Keep your runes for now, and forget about using them until later. Just don't forget when you are travelling on the map, to go to your camp sometimes. (up right on the map)...I hope you understood what I meant, i'm french. Good luck!
