Info about the ending would be great, maybe and ending trailer ^^
After ME3....

I am the kind of person who gets a great deal of enjoyment out of, what I see as, well done endings. Not to mention a great deal of dissatisfaction from badly done endings.

Game reviewers seem to either not play a game to completion, or very rarely consider the quality (and variability ) of the ending in their rating. It is very hard to get a good bead on what games do their endings well and which ones screw the pooch.

Contrast that with another form of entertainment, movies, which can have entire debates and discussions about a movie's ending (often without spoilers) right in the review. If Raiders of the Lost Ark had ended with Indiana Jones ended with Indy joining the Germans instead of face melting the bad guys, it would have been talked about. It wouldn't be swept under the rug, saying "Indy is a loveable and enjoyable character to watch, despite some hiccups found later in the plot."

More transparency and critique of the final destination of a game's story in reviews would be much more appreciated.

I want the truth, but i will probably watch the ending on YouTube so.....

Rushing is bad. Certainly. However it is strange that till now we haven’t seen a single screenshot. We know more about the Witcher 3 (release date for PC around 2014) than DA:I. And for the development time. They have canceled the expansion pack for DA:2 in March 2012 (based on the Eclipse engine). Working with the new Frostbite engine is a challenge for real. Maybe that’s also a reason why they have to visit DICE to get some insights how to use the engine properly. From my understanding, the whole developing team is working on DA:I since  a year, no more.

I think I read somewhere that the game has been in production for almost three years now? Not sure on the credibility of that, though.

That is hard to buy. I mean, it has only been two years since DA2 came out. And there was a time where the team was working on DA2 DLC, as well as the expansion pack. Granted, I know they said they are recycling the expansion pack into DA3, but all the work done on it up to the point of when it was cancelled was on the old Eclipse engine, so who knows how much of it carried over except (obviously) the writing concepts.

If the game is released Fall 2013, it will have a 2 1/2 year development cycle, assuming they started work the second DA2 came out. Nothing to sneeze at, but still nothing to write home about. And, assuming they came out with the announcement next week, it will have 1/2 year information cycle, where news about the game is being released (although it will likely be shorter than this, since they don't appear to be in the verge of announcing anything right this second).

Contrast that with, say, TW3, which has long ago been announced, revealed and featured on the cover of Game informer (with a full, in-depth article) and is not being released until a year from now.

Sometime between now, never, and probably June or July.
