If there's a thread for the things we do want, how about the things we don't?

1) Timeskips. I don't want to be told about things I did, and meet colleagues I never actually interacted with.

2) Copy and paste maps. I would go and play Oblivion if I wanted that sort of tedium.

3) Romances. These things take over every conversation about Bioware and I'm absolutely sick of it. Don't make very single romance bisexual at the very least.

4) Simplification. I understand that you don't want to loop around a go back to DA:O but do not simplify the game anymore than you did with DA2.

5) Ignorance of player choices. If I killed someone they better damn well stay dead in the sequel.

(Dis)honorable mention: Isabela. I hated Isabela so much in DA2. Give her some pants next time, if you use her at all.

This is probably futile since this game has been in development for 2 years but I just wanted to get my thoughts out.

1. Anime\\Manga combat
2. DA2 elf artstyle
3. Merril, Fenris or Talis
4. Summoning animals out of thin air
5. Companions locked in a set weapon\\fightingstyle. I was forced to use Aveline all the time in DA2, when I didn`t play a sword and shield warrior myself.

1) Reused environments. There's really no excuse for this. It's just plain sloppy.

2) Combat shuffle. DA2 got rid of the worst of it, but there were still some issues with scooting around enemy models.

3) Waves of mooks appearing out of nowhere. This really served to make the combats longer without making them more challenging or interesting.

4) Sex scenes a la Origins. I know people like nudity, but I've yet to see a video game sex scene that didn't make me cringe. It just plain looks awkward. The DA2 approach was much better, and conveyed the idea without me giggling at how ridiculous it looked.

5) Another drastic art style change. I understand the desire to make the game look better, and I do think the changes in DA2 were ultimately for the better, but it'd be nice to have some greater consistency in the look of the games.

This, this so very, very hard.

Can it come in red, green, and blue?

Watching Logain/Morrigan was absolutely horrifying.

1) The over the top combat animations from DA2A
2) Like Rawgrim said, having companions locked into a specific weapon style.
3) A mandatory downer ending.
4) A protagonist who feels powerless like Hawke did to me.
5) Further streamlining

1) DA2's art style.
2) Romances. Period. (I doubt I'll get this one)
3) Enemy waves.
4) Anything resembling another Deep Roads.
5) DA:O's combat pacing.

No thanks. Please stay positive and use the existing thread of what should be in the game.
